The Joy Factory SmartFit3 - Snap On Case for iPad 4th/3rd/2nd Gen - Smoke (CSA102)

This fits perfectly on my ipad 3 rd generation. I like that it is clear and doesn't add much bulk to the feel of the ipad. My only complaint, now that I have had it for a few weeks is that the corners have already become cracked. But I suppose that's to be expected, appears more cosmetic at this point, the cracks don't weaken it or keep it from clinging to the ipad.

I want to protect my new iPad. Did not want a thick or heavy case and prefer to show off the handsome aluminum back and Apple logo. There are some clear acrylic type cases or covers for the iPad but they all seem thick, adding bulk

I really loved this product, I'm the begging. It totally works perfect with the Smart Cover. The only problems I got with it is that it gets scratched really easily. Mt main concern is that it started to crack near the corner. I had to get a different case after 8 months of having this product. Overall, I really likes this product.

After a few day of use, small cracks started to appears all over the product, specifically in the corners. I did not even put it though so called "ruff use". Just normal use within the house, not even the expected wear and tear. I would advise you not to buy this product.

I purchased the SmartFit (smoke colored) for my iPad2 and was very happy with it. Still am. That said, and because of my past positive experience, I bought the SmartFit3 (clear) for my new iPad (4th Gen). Within two weeks, the corner edges cracked with tiny pieces breaking off, making them jagged and uncomfortable. I didn't abuse the iPad4 or drop it, and I didn't apply any stress to the case. It seemed odd, given that it fit so well, and I compared the clear SmartFit3 to the smoke SmartFit, and it seems the plastic material on the smoke version was a bit thicker then the clear version (seemed thinner, more delicate). I could be wrong being that I just eyeballed it, but that's the sense I got. Anyway, I've very disappointed, especially because of the very good price, and, ultimately, I removed it from my iPad4 because the jagged corners actually cut into my hands. I eventually got the Speck SmartShell Case for iPad (http://www.amazon.com/Speck-Products-SmartShell-Ultra-Thin/dp/B007JGB6X8/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1366567207&sr=8-3&keywords=speck+smartshell+case+for+ipad) and it's far and away a better product although, admitted, a lot more expensive. I especially like the magnet built into the plastic that helps keep the iPad SmartCover flat against the back. Anyway, regarding the SmartFit3, it's a big miss, and Joy Factory should check its quality control given that other people appear to have complained about the cracking edges.
