I bought this keyboard for my son's Christmas present for use with a Nokia N95 phone. It uses the Symbian operating system, and this keyboard information indicated that operating system was supported. It turned out, however, that this support was only partial: only some Symbian phones are compatible, others are not. It took a visit to the manufacturer's website and a substantial amount of time to determine this was why it did not work with the phone. It was not disclosed anywhere in readily available, more easily accessible form. Check carefully before purchasing that your particular device is supported.Want Think Outside Universal Bluetooth Keyboard Stowaway Discount?
I purchased this keyboard to use with a tablet PC, which has no keyboard at all. A colleague has the same PC and I thought I was buying the same keyboard he recommended. This one functions as-advertised, and the size and spacing of the keys is very close to a "regular" keyboard, but has two problems. One is that it has no number keys, so the top row has multiple purposes. To type numbers one must hold down a function key; really slows me down. The other is that the keys fold out in two directions from a center section. Only the center section touches the desk surface. It has a small bump in each corner. Typing keys at the far right or left sometimes makes the keyboard tip because they are not supported.OK, a third problem: most keys are standard size, but the center 'space' key is very small to allow for the extra function keys, so I often hit a function key instead of the space key.
If you want minimum size and don't type very fast, it's fine for you. If you are a touch typer and might use this a lot, get a similar product that actually has a full keyboard.
