Letratag LT-100H Personal Handheld Abc Label Maker

Letratag LT-100H Personal Handheld Abc Label MakerMy new years resolutin was to be more organized. As such with the purchase of my new label maker I set out on a quest to ensure that everything was put in it's proper place, labled and organized. I am well on my way to my goal with the help of my new label-maker. You won't be disappoinnted.

This was a Christmas present about two years ago. It's been great. The only thing I wish was that the keys were arranged in qwert rather than alphabetical. It tends to give a 'low battery' warning early, but it has a pretty good battery life. My ONLY complaint is that versus the Brother version, which I've used at elsewhere, I find pealing the backing off the tape harder.

Buy Letratag LT-100H Personal Handheld Abc Label Maker Now

Just picked one of these up at the grocery store for about $19, and it won't actually print. Normally, I would assume user error, but the instructions are dead simple and its behavior is erratic, so I am pretty sure it is defective.

More detail: I put in the batteries, put in the tape, turned it on, typed in a quick test message and pressed "Print". At first, this would cause it to shut off the screen, make a little tape feeding noise and then turn off without printing anything. Then I popped the tape out and put it back in to make sure it wasn't misaligned somehow (it snaps in nicely, so I can't see how it would be). Now, when I press print, the screen turns off and it feeds about a foot of tape, still without actually printing anything (or displaying any sort of "Printing..." message, etc.).

I read a few of the reviews on another Amazon listing of the same product. It seems that plenty of people who got working models are happy with it, but for me (and for the others with similar problems), it's a bust. Buyer beware!

Dell M109s On-the-go DLP Projector - 50 ANSI lumens - SVGA (858 x 600) - Aspect Ratio: 4:3 - Contra

Dell M109s On-the-go DLP Projector - 50 ANSI lumens - SVGA - Aspect Ratio: 4:3 - Contrast Ratio 800:1 - Pocket-sizedI got mine for 299 from Dell web site. That's still a hefty price wait 5 years and you will find better ones for 99. I am an artist and I work by projecting color slides on my paper or canvas. I have needed to go digital for a long time, but the standard laptop projectors are big, heavy, noisy, expensive, and too bright. The new little ones either don't connect to a laptop or get terrible reviews. This one is just right. It's also fun to project movies on the bedroom wall, but remember, the brightness is 50 lumens, and your standard video projector is about 2,000, so you want total darkness and it's still not the same. The projector is tiny, light and quiet, and has a lot of nifty sophisticated electronics, BUT THERE'S NO TRIPOD SCREW SOCKET!!!, the cables and connectors are bulky and awkward, the cord to the laptop is only 2' long (get an extension) but it's the best one on the market so far.

I bought this projector to use for work. I was looking for something that would work for a conference room style presentation in the office that was still small and lightweight for travel. While the projector is very small and compact (it even comes with its own case!), it is just not going to work for me. The light is not bright enough and the projection resolution is not clear enough to show anything with numbers on it. So if your presentation is mostly PowerPoints in large type, this projector will work for you!

I really like this projector. I am a teacher and this has been really helpful in my classroom. It is very small and compact which is great since I need to set it up every day. It has a quality picture and the screen size is adequate. The only things I don't like about it is that it does not have a keystone for adjusting the screen up or down so that has to be done manually. Further, for it to be used properly, the classroom must be dark which makes teaching from the textbook a little interesting. Overall though, this is a great product and I would recommend it to any teacher or business professional that makes presentations to small groups.

POSRUS Antiglare Antifingerprint Screen Protector for Le Pan II Tablet

POSRUS Antiglare Antifingerprint Screen Protector for Le Pan II Tableti recommend getting latex gloves and putting them on before you apply the screen protector, it helps a lot. After applying the screen protector i was able to get all of the bubble out besides one that is about 1 mm away from the edge, and that is because a tiny piece of dust decided to test my OCD O.o But overall it is a great product and i recommend it to others.

If only I could get it on to my tablet screen without all the air bubbles! It has a matte finish which, but it did cut down on glare. I ended up just taking it off because I couldn't live with the bubbles, oh well!

Works as advertised. Take your time installing, I was unable to get all the air bubbles out but the ones that are left are near the edge and are hidden by the tablet case.

This screen protector is a must for the LePan II tablet. After purchasing the tablet I quickly realized how easily the high gloss screen got smudged and messed up. Excellent product. It fit perfectly just follow instructions (included) and enjoy a smudge free screen. The crispness of the unprotected screen suffers only minimal change but it's worth it.

GE SmartSecurity Remote Touchpad (GEWSECTPD2)

GE SmartSecurity Remote TouchpadIt was easy to install, once I reviewed my alarm system installation docs along with the instructions on the remote touchpad. Comes very handy if you cannot place your alarm panel next to your exit door, or if you have multiple exits from your house. Just attached it with velkro on the door, so it doesn't get lost. Even though it is not listed as such, it seems compatible with my Simon 2, and it was more affordable than the other options.

Kensington Virtuoso Signature Stylus and Pen Black for New iPad 3rd Gen, iPad 2, iPad 1, Kindle Fir

Kensington Virtuoso Signature Stylus and Pen Black for New iPad 3rd Gen, iPad 2, iPad 1, Kindle Fire, Tablets and Smartphones including iPhone 5, K39544WWI read through the top 10 websites for recommendations for a Stylus for my iPad and after some research and lots of reviews, I decided on the Kensington Virtuoso based on it receiving above average ratings due to it's precision stylus and high-quality ink pen. In my opinion, the ink pen is about the same quality as a pen you would find in a hotel room and the rubber stylus ripped and came off after only two weeks of use. The price for this stylus was too much for a tip that only lasted two weeks along with mediocre pen. And I still don't know why I or anyone else would want to pay 3 or 4 times more for a 'precision' stylus like this over one that costs a few bucks and lasts longer? I would recommend you save your money with this one.

I travel frequently for work and I'm always looking for a way to reduce the travel clutter. Having a pen and stylus combination helps with that. The pen writes well and the stylus is good. Helpful Hint: To change the refill, UNSCREW the refill... don't pull.

I haven't used a stylus since I finally gave up using Palm OS devices, almost a decade ago. The advanced touch screens and interfaces of today, are made to be be used with fingers, rather than with a stylus. But when I began to play Draw Something, it occurred to me that it'd be much easier to play on a 10-inch tablet with a stylus, than on a 4-inch screen with my fingers.

PROS:

Stylish good looks

Responsive stylus

Doubles as a nice pen

CONS:

Pocket clip is a bit shallow

Before computers, the Internet, and touch screens, I was a bit of a pen and mechanical pencil collector. When I first saw the Kensington Virtuoso Signature Stylus, I thought it looked a lot like a Mont Blanc pen. The fact that I had a black Mont Blanc pen with silver accents, probably had a lot to do with the association. Either way, I immediately found the Virtuoso Signature to be a stylish-looking pen. It doesn't write like a Mont Blanc, but it's definitely a decent pen and a nice convenience. And of course, the ink is refillable.

The stylus end of the Virtuoso Signature looks like an eraser, or more similarly, like an earphone tip. If you were expecting the stylus to look something like an old Palm Pilot styli, you might be wondering why they're so different. Most modern touch screens are capacitive, while the older touch screens, like on the Palm Pilot, are resistive. Capacitive touch screens work differently in that they require an electrical conductor to disrupt the screen's electrostatic field. Long story short: you can't use the old-school styli with modern touch screens.

Getting used to a capacitive stylus took me about 15 minutes. After I got used to it, I was able to draw more precise lines and was having more fun playing Draw Something than using just my fingers. I was also able to sign my name better when using document signature apps.

I really like the Kensington Virtuoso Signature Stylus and Pen. It's stylish, writes well as a pen, and is more precise on touch screens than using fingers alone. My only gripe is that the pen clip is a tad shallow and doesn't feel overly secure when clipped in my bag or pocket. Given that the cost of the Virtuoso is in the same ballpark as a decent Cross pen, I'd prefer not to lose it. Aside from that, I'd say the Virtuoso Signature is a good way to go if you like to draw on your smartphone/tablet or need to be able to hand write with greater precision.

A beautiful pen that also doubles as a capacitive stylus. It is a little thick for my hand but has a nice substantial weight. The twist action to use the pen is preferable to other styles which use a cap. The stylus works well and does not detract from the elegant look of the pen.

Cosmos ® Wireless USB HandHeld Finger Trackball Mouse with Laser Pointer for macbook pro or other

Cosmos ® Wireless USB HandHeld Finger Trackball Mouse with Laser Pointer for macbook pro or other PCs + Cosmos cable tieNot very well thought out design, cheaply made.

Laser Pointer Worked one time, and never again.

Has too many buttons that don't do anything.

No settings or any way to adjust button action.

Doesn't work with my laptops built in Bluetooth.

This little handheld trackball is WONDERFUL!!! It is EXACTLY as advertised, easy to handle, and great for travel particularly in public spaces where you do not want to take up space with a mouse and pad, and I HATE using that little pad on the keyboard! (It is VERY ergonomically incorrect!) It will take a bit for those who are not trackball proficient, as does any trackball. However, if you are a gamer, you will HATE this it will be very difficult to move quickly enough and with enough precision. Stick with the appropriate toys for action gaming. Business folks and educators, fear NOT!

If you like a trackball and enjoy being able to use a computer with your feet up you will love this device. I've used a trackball for a long time and this is the smoothest and easiest I've come across. I only found two minor drawbacks. 1. It needs to be recharged with a USB cable device. A battery option would be nice. I haven't yet found how long a charge lasts. 2. A thumb size transmitter that fits into the USB can be magnetically stored on the bottom of the device this seems like a precarious system and if the transmitter is lost the unit can't be used. A more secure method would be very desirable. The bottom line is keep it charged and don't lose the transmitter. I've been waiting years for this to be produced. Bravo!

I bought this mouse in September and for less than 3 months, I loved it. Now it no longer works. All the buttons work but the trackball does not. Since the main point of the mouse is being able to move the cursor around the screen and I can no longer do that, this mouse is useless to me. Mouse was not mishandled or improperly used. It worked fine last night and this morning it is broken.

12/27/12 Update:

Out of frustration (put perhaps mostly boredom) I unscrewed my mouse this evening and took a look into it. I'm not particularly tech savvy but seeing nothing glaringly out of place, I put the mouse back together. Somehow, perhaps through a shear miracle of coincidence, it now works. Unfortunately, my crappy screwdriver did strip the screws during removal so here is to actually securing it in place again.

BoxWave Skinny Capacitive Stylus for Acer Iconia Tab W700 - Acer Iconia Tab W700 Touch Screen Stylu

BoxWave Skinny Capacitive Stylus for Acer Iconia Tab W700 - Acer Iconia Tab W700 Touch Screen Stylus w/ Longer Barrel and Fine Tip PointI bought this stylus to use with an Acer W700 tablet and while it works, I don't really use it too much anymore. I was used to using my finger on the touchscreen but after buying MS Office and learning how to use OneNote, I wanted something more precise to write with than my finger.

At first I tried a stylus my mother was using with her iPad and while it worked okay for tapping on the screen, the tip was too soft to be precise when taking notes in OneNote (lowercase E's were very hard to write). After some searching here on Amazon I found this stylus made by Boxwave and decided to give it a try.

I was very eager to use it when it showed up but after some time I realized this wasn't the stylus for me. The tip is harder than the previous stylus and while it is more precise, it loses contact with the screen and my letter strokes have breaks in them (even when I press very firmly on the screen). Needless to say, this makes it very hard for OneNote to convert my writing to text. I tried cleaning the screen numerous times and always kept the tip pressed firmly to the screen but the skipping behavior continued.

The stylus looks very nice and includes a headphone adapter to keep it attached to your tablet or phone but my experience in OneNote keeps it firmly placed in my stylus holder 99% of the time. Much like the stylus I borrowed, it's great for tapping on the screen but writing is very hit or miss. Considering I bought it to write, I just can't recommend it for that purpose. My hunt for a good stylus continues so if you can make a recommendation, please leave a comment!

rooCASE Neoprene Netbook Sleeve Case Cover for Lenovo 10.1-Inch Ideapad S10-3t 0651-85U Netbook TabletGot the Case in orange. Received timely and no issue there. Functions as stated. I like all the storage pockets for chargers, cables, stylus pens, etc. I ordered a "new" case but when I received it, there is a black dot on the top portion right in front center above first pocket. Almost like a marker was just touched at the point. The gray trim looks dirty in a couple of spots also, like it's been handled by dirty hands. I was going to exchange for another but supplier won't exchange..only return and reorder. To much hassel. I figure it won't stay pristeen forever so i took and cleaned myself best I could. Not much improvement. Function and design is great, just disappointed someone else got it dirty instead of me before I even got to take it out of the box!

McTiVia Wireless PC or MAC to TV (up to 8 computers)

McTiVia Wireless PC or MAC to TVBought this after much time spent searching for a simple solution to play media content from my PC on my big screen. I've thought about buying extenders such as the VeeBeam, which can also be used to clone the computer's display onto the big screen. The VeeBeam also has a "play to" feature by which one could send/play a video to the TV while using the computer's display for other tasks. The VeeBeam can also do HD resolutions, if their HD model is used.

That being said, the McTivia is a great concept, and works quite well, but has two fatal flaws. One is that it can not do full 1080p HD. The website mentions 720p but the max resolution it can use is 1280 x 720, which for me is "HD lite". Not bad, and better than DVD quality, which may be fine for most people.

The other flaw is the lack of a "play to" feature as found in the VeeBeam. In my case I have one PC, that does duty as a family PC and as a media source to stream stuff to my TV. I use DLNA to stream videos to my TV and am able to use the PC for other things at the same time. So my kids could be watching a movie while I'm checking emails.

Where I had envisioned using the MctTivia was to send content to my 2nd TV which is not DLNA capable. I can't use a VeeBeam as it requires line of sight between transmitter and receiver and has very limited range (this is its fatal flaw, imo).

The McTivia does not require line of sight as it works via ethernet or wi-fi and so would have been ideal if it had the "play to" feature and also was 1080p capable. That the McTivia does not require line of sight is a fantastic feature that distinguishes it from the rest of the media extender crowd.

Awind Mctivia

Pros:

+ No line of sight required (allows flexibility)

Cons:

Only does 720p not the full 1080p that the Vee Beam does.

No "play to" feature (just cloning whats on the PC monitor is on the TV thus you can't use the

PC for anything else while watching a video for example))

lag between PC and TV. In my case a couple of seconds.

VeeBeam

Pros:

+ Capable of 1080p

+ has play to feature (can surf, email, etc.on the PC monitor, while playing a video on the TV)

Cons:

Requires line of sight between transmitter and receiver (limits placement of TV and PC) biggest

drawback of this unit.

Awind, we want a Mctivia that can do 1080p HD and also a "play to" feature for maximum flexbility. Are you listening?

Over the years there have been a lot of devices that try to stream your content to your TV. Most, if not all, require extra wires and hookups. I have a laptop and I usually find myself plugging an HDMI cable into it and then into my TV to watch my content or use it as a monitor. It always sat on the floor or was shoved into a shelving space to sit. I needed something where I could just leave my laptop somewhere and not have to bring it back and forth. This is exactly what I was looking for. Set up does require some time to tinker with but works really well overall. There is a usb port on the back that allows me to hook up a mouse and keyboard that I can leave near my TV whenever I need to show off a few thing on the big screen. I've noticed that a wired connection is better for streaming full 1080p content but 720p works just fine over wifi. I'm enjoying the product so far, no real big complaints aside from the set up process.

Buy McTiVia Wireless PC or MAC to TV (up to 8 computers) Now

Even on an iMac with a 24" screen, my visually-impaired husband finds it difficult to view Web video, the only way that he's been able to see some of his favorite news shows since we don't subscribe to cable these days.

Now he can see clips on our 32" HDTV, as well as series episodes not available via Netflix or Hulu, that are elsewhere on the Web.

Setup is easier when you know that the network config on the Web management page won't show the actual IP. You can see the IP on the TV screen.

Though the McTivia can host a wireless network, we get better speed using our own router (Airport Extreme), which is connected to the McTivia via cable. The iMac connects to its usual wireless network, and we're good to go.

With the latest version of Snow Leopard (10.6.8), before I upgraded to the latest version of Soundflower (the MccTivia app is packaged with an old version), the sound output from the TV occasionally lost itself. So if you're on a Mac and having sound problems, make sure you upgrade to the latest Soundflower.

We are only using for TV/movies, but there is definitely a lag between the PC and TV video streams, so I would plan on using a keyboard/mouse connected to the McTivia if you are doing gaming with it.

I ordered many products but this is the best. I didn't have any problem with setup. I put the disk in, it told me what to do and all is well. I don't know if others followed the directions step by step, but I did, and didn't have any problems. The only thing I wish for this is that it was 1080p and I also wish you could minimize whatever you were watching and be able to use your computer while streaming video.

Want McTiVia Wireless PC or MAC to TV (up to 8 computers) Discount?

I have spent a bit of time researching for a product that would simply allow me to put my content from my computer to my TV. I decided to try the McTivia. This product is amazing. After I spent about 25 minutes setting up the McTivia, I was good to go. I initially set up my laptop on the McTivia. With no line of site being requited, my laptop was upstairs in my office and I could control it on my big screen HDTV downstairs, which I did with a wireless keyboard and mouse all in one. It worked flawlessly.

I tested everything. I showed pictures from my Ireland trip, played itunes, played internet radio, worked on an excel spreadsheet, played videos, posted on Facebook and I even watched TV shows from the internet and now I am thinking that I don't even need cable anymorewhat a savings that will be.

To continue on, we added my husband's 2 computers, as well as my daughter's MAC. We have room for 4 more as it works with up to 8 computers!

The unit is small and sleek so it doesn't even take up any room.

I told my boss about this product, and now we have one in the office which is perfect for presentations.

In my research I read that this product won the MACWORLD Best of Show, I now see why. The McTivia is an amazing product that I highly recommend.

PDair V01 Black Crocodile Pattern Leather Case for Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 / SGH-I717

PDair V01 Black Crocodile Pattern Leather Case for Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 / SGH-I717I realize the ridiculousness of having such a massive phone in a holster on one's hip. However, for work reasons, this is really the only way I can reliably carry my phone with me at all times, in various situations, so I won't comment too much on the aesthetics of this.

The case is somewhat better than I expected, given its made in China origins. The case come very well packaged, wrapped in a cloth in what looks almost like a gift box. The embossed leather appears to be of decent quality. I can't tell if it's a pretty good fake leather, or a second-rate genuine leather. The stitching around the case is even, with no loose threads. On this embossed version of the case, there isn't a giant PDAir logo so that the case looks actually quite classy and anonymous. The leather and elastic sides are stiff, making it hard to remove the phone, but I imagine it will loosen up with time. It accommodates my phone even with its hard plastic protective case around it. There's no magnetic closure to interfere or damage the touch screen with prolonged exposure. The holster clip is wide and sturdy.

There are some drawbacks. Beware it is probably shipping from Hong Kong (mine did) so shipping takes a long time. I wish it was lined in microfiber or something soft, rather than vinyl. If you drop the phone in its case, the case will not protect the top and top corners of the phone at all (because it's a hairsbreadth not tall enough).

Overall, I'd say it's somewhat overpriced, but there are really no other options for a good-looking leather holster case without a magnetic closure.
