I purchased an iPod ITouch from Amazon and was not happy with just charging using the computer. Also I wanted to be able to charge it away from home, when I travel, when I am flying, and this works great! I highly recomend this charger to anyone. It has two charging speeds which is nice. The only draw back is the length of the retractable charging cord. It is only about 2 feet long, and that can cause a bit of a problem locating a close by wall outlet.
