This is not a thin case, it does add a lot of bulk when carrying your macbook around but for what it's worth it adds A LOT of protection. The bubbles inside give such agreat cushioning and I feel confident my macbook will be safe when carrying my backpack and throwing it in the car/on the ground in class, etc. Couldnt be better.
My son and daughter each got a new mac this summer. I was worried about protecting them. These two cases are perfect. I bought one for the mac book pro, and one for the mac book air. The bubbles inside offer wonderful protection, and they fit perfectly. They were also great prices at Amazon.
