i-Blue 737A+ Bluetooth GPS Receiver

i-Blue 737A+ Bluetooth GPS ReceiverReceiver is excellent. It is palm sized and fits conveniently in my pocket. I use it with my PPC 6700.TTFF is excellent and very responsive. Battery life is good.I've only chargde it once in a few weeks and even at that I was worried so Icharged it before a trip. Only quirk is the LEDs that do not make sense.Would have been nice to have smaller LEDS and flash in a different manner when operational. Seemed a little bright and irritating in the dark at first on my dash. If u can get past this it is excellent.

Wonderful sensitivity, tracking, battery life, sync times... Equivalent if not better to a SirfIII chipset, and in a very small and reliable package. Best buy !

This gps receiver is simple to use and satellite reception was always great, even during snowstorms, being indoors, or metro areas. In six months, I never experienced anything that disappointed me w/ it's performance with my Dell Axim X51. After six months, I took it on vacation to use in a rental car and it was stolen from my luggage at the airport. I've replaced it with the exact same model. I highly recommend this i-Blue 737.

I picked this up about a year ago for use mainly with my HTC excalibur cell phone (Tmobile Dash). It acquires a signal quickly in almost every setting. The only time I cam recall having an issue was in NYC, getting on and off the subway and with the buildings, it would take a long time to get a good lock. I have no experience with other gps so don't know if that is normal for a city like that. In downtown LA it didn't have the same problem.

I use this for geotagging my photographs. I keep it in my pocket getting in and out of cars, going into gas stations, etc and it almost always keeps a good lock, at least enough to not time out on the windows mobile app I use.

The battery life is great, I've only drained it completely once in a year. I generally use it an entire day and charge it at night, but I've used it more than one day without charging before. It accepts a standard mini-usb plug for charging (but not for data).

I have also used it connected to my laptop via the cheapest bluetooth dongle known to man and it worked just fine.

Aside from the issues in NYC, the only other complaint I have is that you cannot share the signal with more than one device at once. I'm not sure if this is inherent in bluetooth or not, but I see no reason a one way communication device such as this couldn't be used on a laptop and phone at the same time.

Verizon users, get this if you want GPS on your Blackberry!! For less than six months of Verizon's VZNavigator you can get this unit. Just received this GPS receiver. Paired easily with my Blackberry Pearl 8130. Haven't been able to get it to work with Google Mobile Maps yet but does work great with Blackberry Maps. Fast satellite acquisition! Locked on to 11 inside my house. Very small unit for great portability and travel. Haven't used it much yet but looks very promising. Documentation is very limited but it worked as described.
