The first one lasted 5 days and just stopped working. The seller responded and sent me out another one right away. The brick

does get very hot and I think it burned out so I used the extension from my original apple charger so that the brick was not

touching the outlet directly and that seems to have done the trick. This one also does not get as hot so fingers crossed.

I dont regret the purchase as the price is right.

Took a chance on this charger, needless to say I should have gone with something else. We hardly use the laptop since we have a desktop but in the 2 1/2 weeks it may have been used a total of 5 or 6 times, at most, before it died.

I was looking for a cheap alternative to apple's power cords, but this didn't work at all. In fact I was afraid it was going to blow up when I plugged it into the wall and it caused the outlet to emit sparks. Maybe others will have better luck, but it failed to charge my laptop.
