Hard Candy Cases Print Series Case for Kindle Fire, "O" (does not fit Kindle Fire HD)

I was looking for a stylish, yet protective case and decided on the "O" case by Hard Candy. The price was a little hard to swallow, at $40, but it's promise of style and protection was very tempting. Case arrived today and there isn't much to it. The 'rubber' is barely noticeable. I was hoping for a little more cushion for impact, and the hard case for durability. The rubber edge on the front *does* provide a buffer so that when you put it face down on a hard surface, the screen doesn't touch the surface.

Pro's:

Low profile, light weight very little added bulk

Easy to install just clicks in

All ports and speakers exposed for ease of use

Rubber edge protects screen when put face down

Stylish without being over the top

Con's:

Not as much rubber less impact absorption

Not a high-gloss finish as described

Green is more yellowish/neon

High Price Point

Mostly happy with my purchase so far. We'll see how it holds out.

The colors on the case are beautiful! Better than how it looks online. The case is great. For me, I think I should have gotten something that protects and covers the screen when I am not using it. Recently while traveling I was worried the screen might get bumped and scratched in my purse. Overall this is a really great case.

This case makes your Kindle look really nice. It has a rubbery feel, so the Kindle doesn't slide in your hands. It fits super snug so it won't fall off. Full access to all ports. Great corner protection if you drop it, but no screen protection. Doesn't add bulk to the Kindle, which is already pretty heavy in my opinion.
