Although this battery was advertised as new, it clearly is not. The date code is four year prior and the case and contacts show wear. However, the operational life in my phone is not bad so I'm not too dissapointed. I wish the seller would honestly represent their product, however.

They hold a charge for half a day, which admittedly is longer than the one I'm replacing, but they're clearly not brand new. They're swollen and can spin on a flat surface, like the one I was told to replace for that same reason.

I received a battery which was visibly swelled... which would indicate bad. And it was. I explained the situation to the seller who apologized for the error, and offered to send another battery right away. The second battery looked much better. But just to be sure, I installed it into my phone and charged overnight 8+ hours.

I turned the phone on in the morning, and I was back in business. In summary, the seller shipped a dead battery in error, apologized for it, and in the end made it right. It is nice to see a seller who stands behind their product. I would recommend this seller to my friends, and will consider them again when I need another battery.
