Griffin Elan Form hard-shell cork-tan leather case for iPhone

The box simple says "fits iPhone", next to an illustration of an iPhone, which is a little silly given the number of significantly different form factors the iPhone/iPod now offers. It failed to fit my 3G iPhone or the slimmer 3G iPod touch.

Unfortunately, some people cannot read thus all the poor reviews of this item. This case fits the iPhone, the original, just plain iPhone; Not the iPhone 3G, not the iPhone 3GS, not the iPhone 4, just the iPhone. With that out of the way the case is AWESOME, it has a great feel too it, it is not ultra bulky and protects the phone well. I love mine.

I was excited to get this unique new cover for my iphone but that all faded when i received it in the mail and it didn't fit my phone. Waste of time! At least amazon makes it super user friendly to return items.

I waited a little while before I rated the product. Seems to be holding up well, the cork feels good in your hand. It is a perfect fit.

That is correct please read again if you will. It is for "First Gen. iphone". If you have a first gen. iphone it will fit; I cannot say about other versions of iphones, but again for "First (1st.) Gen. iphones it is a, so far so good product.

it was exactly what I wanted, but when buying it I wish that the 1G was bigger. It didn't fit the phone and it said nothing on the packaging as to what phone it fit so we had to take it out of the packaging. My boyfriend was really sad
