This product is suppose to allow you to charge your phone wile listening to music with your ear buds. However, a distinct HUM comes through the ear buds when playing music and charging. If you remove the charging wire, the hum goes away and you can listen to music just fine. I reported this before and the vendor sent me another unit. However, this one also had the HUM. So the issue is clearly a design flaw and the unit simply does not work without making the hum.

I used it in the car. I plugged it in the cigarette lighter to charge the phone and with another wire plugged it in my car radio and I could hear the HUM. When I removed the charge wire, the hum went away.

I would NOT Recommend this product, unless you like hearing a HUM with your music while charging the phone.

Thank you

I like my G1 but for the fact that I can't use standard headphones, and for that matter, that I can't charge my phone while listening to music. This little gadget provides me the functionality that should have been in the phone. There was another web site with a similar device selling for $20.

It works great. Someone mentioned the problem with the music port; I wonder if it's his cable rather than the device, as I have no problem. I even tried wiggling the cable around and didn't hear any problems.

So, a cheap little device that adds a lot of value to my phone.

Ordered not sure if it would work or not for my mytouch phone, as I heard someone had an issue with it. Figured 8 bucks was worth the risk, and it was. Works flawlessly, I can charge my phone while streaming music in my car to my stereo using a 3.5mm audio cable.

Want HTC 3-in-1 USB Audio and Charger Adapter for HTC ExtUSB Smartphone Discount?

I have a Touch Pro, which comes with a different adapter that is nearly as long as the device itself. The cable is also rigid, which makes it look ridiculous when using it to listen to music on headphones. More problematic, it's prone to bumping and damaging the delicate ExtuUSB connections on the phone.

I bought one of these adapters to address those concerns while listening to music. With the flimsy cable and smaller adapter box, it doesn't look idiotic and is not as likely to catch on things. It comes at a price, however. There seems to be little to no electronic filtering, so if you simultaneously plug the adapter into headphones (or an auxiliary cable or tape adapter)and an external power source (such as a power adapter, PC USB connection, or car power adapter), you will hear a lot of static.

So I keep the standard adapter on hand for when I'm driving or working and listening at a PC and this adapter for when I'm active and listening. Actually, I have multiples of both spread around my home and workplace, because they're so easy to lose or forget.

Thank goodness HTC intends to include 3.5 mm jacks on all future models.

The product works well and the shipment was fast.

I recommend it.

The best price.

I'm using it on my HTC TYTN.

Stylus for Treo 650, Metal

Stylus for Treo 650, MetalI've brought this stylus from Eforcity, shipment was quick and it fits my pda perfectly, I'd highly recommend this and Eforcity to everyone.

The item arrived, as I was opening the cellophane packaging the top snapped off. I tried to Superglue it back on but there is not enough surface to make a good-lasting contact. Since it was not an expensive item in the first place I have not pursued any replacement or refund. Apparently a freak accident, as others have rated satifactory purchases.

rooCASE Executive Portfolio (Black) Leather Case Cover with Landscape / Portrait View for HP TouchP

rooCASE Executive Portfolio Leather Case Cover with Landscape / Portrait View for HP TouchPad 9.7-inch Tablet Computer Wi-FiI love my rooCase for the Nook and wish that I could get one for my HP Touchpad. I have ordered three from Amazon so far and I keep receiving the one for the Toshiba Thrive 10.1 inch tablet. This is much too big for the Touchpad. The case is clearly labeled for the Thrive, but all three have come with a barcode on the back that says its for the Touchpad. Must be a whole batch got labeled wrong. Hopefully Amazon will eventually fix...

I received what appears to be the right case from the seller with correct cutouts on the sleeve as pictured. Also has small mic opening on top edge of case which isn't shown on pictures, it's just above the camera opening where it's supposed to be. It has two round velcro on the back of the inner sleeve which is different than the picture. Outer rooCase plastic hanger reads RC-TOUCHPAD-EXE-BK, the wrapper the case is in reads YM-TOUCHPAD-EXE-BK-FBA B0057K30R4

Very nice fit and finish as expected from reading the reviews on this case for other tablets. If you pull zippers all the way back you can get the case nearly flat if that is an issue. Most of the time I use just the sleeve at home, and then put it on the Touchstone to charge at night. It will charge in both landscape and portrait mode and have had no problems with the velcro reacting to the slight warming of the touchstone that does occur during the charging process. Nice to be able to have the zippered case for travel and it does protect the unit well but does add some bulk.

I purchased my HP Touchpad two days after they came onto the market. Along with my new Touchpad, I purchased the case sold on HP's web site. It was simply OK. I didn't care for the way the front cover (flap) would always fall open if you held it the wrong way. I discovered this rooCase Executive Portfolio on Amazon, and took a chance in ordering it. This turned out to be a good move. This case fits the Touchpad like a glove and the case zips closed so no more opening unexpectedly. The rooCase feels rich and will protect the Touchpad from exposure. The detachable inner sleeve is great for popping out of the case to watch a video or surf the net and still retain a little protection.

I was a little leery about purchasing this case after reading the reviews, but wanted this style of portfolio for my HP Touchpad. I was very pleased when I received the product and it was the right size. It looks very professional and I love the way the case can be detached from the Touchpad without losing the protective case! Very nice product!

Palm Tungsten T3/ T2/ T/ W/ C/ Zire 71 Sync and Charge Cable and USB Travel Charger Adaptor Bundle

Palm Tungsten T3/ T2/ T/ W/ C/ Zire 71 Sync and Charge Cable and USB Travel Charger Adaptor BundleNice little charger for an old Palm Pilot. What's nice is that the cable can plug into any USB charger and its charger can be used for other USB things.

The product arrived in a very timely maner. I have had it for a while now and used it often. The last time I tried to use it about a week ago, it stopped working. I think it is the cord. It does not sync any more. There is power to the PDA, but the button doesn't sync it. That disappoints me, but I have had it for about a year, so I really can't complain. I would really like to order another one, but just haven't taken time. I would certainly recommend this product and the supplier to any of my friends. Thank you. BOB'S OPINION

2TB G-safe Spare Module Drive

2TB G-safe Spare Module DriveIf you are needing RAID back-up, you probably should be using more than the two drives that come with the G-Safe base configuration. Another matched drive allows you to hot-swap a drive out for economic off-site storage. This is great and easy to do. With a 2 TB-size system, it will likely take hours to replicate a drive byte-by-byte when you do a swap, but this is done automatically as a background operation and drive remains in use. Works great, solid performance.

When I decided to get a G-safe for backup of my important data, I knew I also wanted to have a backup offsite, just in case. I got this drive as a third drive for my G-safe and it has worked flawlessly while giving me the additional piece of mind I wanted.

EVGA PD01 PCoIP Desktop Portal

EVGA PD01 PCoIP Desktop PortalThis review is of the HD01 host card and matching PD01 desktop portal. Since they operate together I am writing the same review for both but have broken it into two sections.

The host card plugs into the x1 PCIe slot and uses a long heatsink instead of a fan for cooling. The supplied dual DVI cable plugs into the DVI output of the video card. The other connector on the card is the ethernet cable over which the USB, video and audio information is sent. The supplied ethernet cable connects to the network switch.

The Desktop Portal is silent (no fan or hard disk) and provides the connections for the keyboard, mouse, mic, headphones and local USB devices. It also supports up to two monitors via DVI cables, and to the network switch via a standard ethernet cable. Overall 3 network ports and IP numbers are used (one for the ethernet connector on the computer, one for the host card and one for the portal)

With everything connected and powered up the portal and card found each other and connected without issue using DHCP assigned IP numbers. Out of the box in less than 30 minutes I had moved my desktop PC to the utility closet and now have a silent workstation in my home office! Neither normal usage, nor watching a 1080 HD video (such as elephantsdream.org) showed any signs of delay, packet loss or compression.

rooCASE Slim-Fit (Black) Folio Case Cover with Multi Adjustable Viewing Angles for ASUS Transformer

rooCASE Slim-Fit Folio Case Cover with Multi Adjustable Viewing Angles for ASUS Transformer Pad PRIME TF201You can find my full review with photos and such on my xda review in accessories section of the TF700 forum. This is an abbreviated review. This case was initially marked for the TF700, then changed. I ordered it before this change. I intended to send it back as it changed the same day as I bought it. The seller was awesome and offered full refund and return shipping with no issues. I decided to try it anyways. It was tight but it did fit. After a few days if use the tightness loosened up and it was a perfect fit. It clings with 6 tabs. 4 are primary and 2 are just to help it at its pivot point, not used to hold case to device. These secondary tabs are ather loose, but still serve their intended purpose. I have absolutely zero regrets on this purchase. If you decide to get it for your TF700, be aware it may or may not be an ideal fit, but it will likely be tight which will loosen up over a week or so. Especially the closure tab, which was very difficult at first but is actually quite easy now after just a few days.

Materials 5 Stars. Keeping in mind this cover only cost $20. Leather is serviceable and the soft inside should not cause any scratching.

Profile 4 Stars. This at least doubles the Prime's width. The protection is good so you are making a sacrifice to hopefully have the tablet look like new for a long time. Slim is most likely in comparison to Roo Case's Dual View case.

Fit 2 Stars. It slides into place but the fit is terrible. The bottom "hooks" for lack of a better term really feel forced. They should by design have an easy in and out feel. The hook to close the top of the cover also requires some force to close the cover. The hooks to keep it in place are great but Roo should really have thought about the function of each hook rather than make them all the same.

Overall I would give this 3 stars but am hesitant on keeping it. Will update with durability if I end up keeping it for an extended period of time but my first impression is that I will not have issues with durability.

***UPDATE

I am adding a star to my review for two reasons. First of which being PC Micro Store has been the first company to ever follow up with me on a purchase through Amazon. Pleasant conversation with a sales rep who explained that they sell a similar case for the iPad and said users mentioned it needed to break in. I am still not completely sold on the closing hook but overall the case broke in relatively quickly to a good point. No doubt this case will hold up over time though. I would give the seller 5 stars, it is nice to deal with a company that cares about its reputation and end user's experience.

I contacted the seller after ordering and then reading some comments here about the fit of this case to a TF700, I was concerned about accepting delivery. I received a response within 24 hours from their customer service and they couldn't have been nicer. They encouraged me to try the case but I would have no problem returning the item for either a swap or a refund they had some new cases coming in as well that they indicated I was free to try to ensure a proper fit on my ASUS Infinity TF700.

I admit the case was a tight fit to the tablet but I am VERY pleased with it and have no intention of returning. Sliding the tablet into the two top corners and side holders was a breeze. Once in it took a little extra effort to wrap the bottom two holders around the lower corners of the tablet but once they were in I was comfortable that the tablet was in tightly. In fact, I preferred the tightness of fit as I felt the mounting was VERY secure and there would be no problem with tablet slippage. Also, since the case and corners are leather they will stretch a little over time and with use. I do not set the tablet up on a desk so I cannot comment how fitness would be affected if frequent removal from the lower frames for vertical viewing is done. However, overall I couldn't be happier with the case and highly recommend PC Micro Store.

Received case and quality was quite good. Case has basically 6 hooks that keep it in place. One on the top, bottom, and each of the corners. The hooks closest to the spine couldn't wrap around the TF700T but the others did just fine. It seemed like the tablet was just a few millimeters to large. So, whenever I opened the cover, the case would fall from the tablet at the spine while the other hooks held.

In the end the product quality was solid, just didn't fit what it said it would properly.

White Mygica EZgrabber2 USB 2.0 Video Capture Adapter

White Mygica EZgrabber2 USB 2.0 Video Capture AdapterFirst let me express my displeasure with the USPS. Company shipped from Cali by DHL on April 30, arrived at USPS in Jer-z on May 2. Then sat around and was finally delivered on May 9. NOT HAPPY about that. Once product arrived it took me around 10 minutes to go from installation to recording. I am not the most computer literate person in the world, but it was so simple I think anyone can use this product. It's is not a high end VHS to DVD conversion software with all the crazy bells and whistles computer enthusiast would look for. It however just what I was looking for. A simple and effective tool to transfer old VHS to DVD.

If you are a Neanderthal like myself and are looking for a fast and easy way to transfer VHS to DVD, I highly recommend this product.

Would have gotten 5 stars if not for the shipping issue.

I purchased this item for my son. So he could transfer VHS tapes and super 8 home video tapes to dvd or cd. He is pleased with the results and claims it works as advertised and easy to learn how to use.

Battery-Biz Inc. 3.7 Volt Li-Ion PDA BatteryI have an old school touch screen PDA. I love to use it for simple games and for bible study. The original battery bit the dust and I didn't have many (reasonable) options, until I found this one. What a great battery. Well worth the money for those who don't want the odd batteries that stick out of the back.

Belkin PDA KEYBOARD (G700) ( F8P3502 )

Belkin PDA KEYBOARD
  • An ideal performance upgrade from Cat5 cabling in your 100Base-T or Gigabit Ethernet network.
  • Ensures clean and clear transmissions.
  • Snagless-type moldings.

This full-size portable keyboard from Belkin has a very clever design. The keyboard is broken into three sections -and the middle section rises up when the outer two sections are spread apart. They then click together and remain rigid -which is great for typing on one's lap like a notebook PC.

There's a full row of numbers across the top. And the space bar is unbroken (unlike the Palm Ultrathin keyboard which splits the space bar into two). The only gripe I have with the keyboard layout is the right shift key, which is very small and out to the right (just beyond the up/down and left/right navigation keys), which I sometimes miss-hit when I'm typing very quickly.

The unit is very compact when completely folded. It's not quite as thin (or as cool looking) as the new Palm Ultrathin keyboard, but it is much sleeker than the original Palm keyboard (which now seems clunky by comparison).

If you're looking for one keyboard to do it all -have a real row of numbers and be extremely portable this unit from Belkin is a very good choice!

Buy Belkin PDA KEYBOARD (G700) ( F8P3502 ) Now

I just received this keyboard for my palm t3 and it works great. however, there is just 1 issue that would make this perfect, at least for me. The spacebar could have been more centered than it's now. looking at the keyboard, there is really no reason why the "alt" key needs to be on the right of space bar, which is pushing the spacebar towards the left. if they had just put the "alt" key to the left, it would have been perfect as i noticed that tapping on the spacebar on the extreme right edge (due to the fact that it's left bias and I'm using my right thumb) sometimes misses the actual space character.

If any of you value your sanity or life, stay AWAY!! I got this for Christmas. I was happy because my friend had one and it worked fine for him. Lucky for him, not for me. It didn't work with the drivers that came with it. I had to download the driver from Belkin's site to get it to even recognize that there was a keyboard there. Now, whenever I press a button once, it fills the entire screen with that key. WITH ONLY ONE PRESS. I figured that I might be missing something so I contacted their technical support. A week later I got an email saying I should just download the drivers from the site and not use the one that came with it. They won't take it back or anything, if I ever meet the president of Belkin.......

SanDisk 64 MB CompactFlash Card

SanDisk 64 MB CompactFlash CardThe CompactFlash Card is so convenient, small, and user friendly. This is a great price for a 64MB CompactFlash Card! The 64 MB card will hold Hundreds of pictures, more than you can take on a weekend. The camera's which use these cards usually have a feature to erase unwanted photos, so you have room on the card for only the photos you want. After you down load the photos onto other storage media, you just erase the card and re-shoot! On a large capacity card like this one you can purchase a SanDisk reader for around $25 to read the card like a Memory Disc and download the photos faster than sending them from the camera.

Okay if you're anything like me, than 64 megs is going to be plenty of space. There's more than enough room for high quality digital picture as well as Mp3's or whatever else you can think of. The only down side to having a larger card is that it takes a while to download or upload information. For that problem there is the viking card reader, at around $60 it's not a bad investment if you're planning on using that card a lot.

Buy SanDisk 64 MB CompactFlash Card Now

I use this CF card with my digital camera and find it quite reliable. Using standard compression on my camera, I could easily take approximately 64 shots (@ 3 megapixels). This saves me the time of always having to delete or offload the pictures into my computer with a smaller CF card.

I couldn't find any differences between the different CF cards that are available from other manufacturers; except for the capacity of the memory. All the CF cards available are the same except for the cost.

Best thing to do is shop around for the best deal/service. Living in Canada, I could only compare with Kodak, Sandisk and Lexar CF cards.

Sandisk was by far the cheapest compared to the other brands.

So far I have taken over 400 shots with no problems. I am quite satisfied and pleased with this CF card's performance.

SanDisk Compact Flash media cards work excellently in all our devices, from the camera to our Psion handheld. What most people don't realize is that the speed at which their device stores information to the card determines how long the recovery time is between pictures or file saving, etc. We've noticed that some people think the compact flash card itself is the problem, when in fact the speed of storage or writing to the cards is ALSO dependent on the performance of the particular camera, handheld, etc. (on board operational RAM/memory, processing chip clock speed). We recommend that before a person buy a desired device that they check/compare magazine reviews, recommendation lists and manufacturer specs to find out how fast a device write/stores. This will save you much frustration later.

Want SanDisk 64 MB CompactFlash Card Discount?

When my studio went Digital last year we bought a Kodak DCS 330, after learning with a Kodak DC210Plus, and since we use the camera tethered to a computer by a Firewire, we still need good memory capacity in the camera. With two SanDisk 64MB cards in the camera we have enough memory to hold the images of a Portrait session before transferring them into Photoshop for processing. At 8.65 Megabytes per image, two 64s don't provide very much space so we take a laptop with us in the field for transfer. But a professional absolutely must have rock-solid reliability and we get it with the SanDisk 64s no hint of noise or problems after over 1,000 images in each disk. They were recommended to me by another Professional Photographer.

This battery is better than the original. It charged up quickly and holds the charge. Initially, I was hesitant to purchase this battery because the rating on this battery did not exactly match the old battery----1700mAh versus the 1400mAh on the OEM battery----the voltage was the same however. The "1700mAh" has to do with how long the battery will last before having to be charged again. I strongly recommend this battery and this seller. The seller will get my future orders.

Good product. Stickers around the package could be tighter, because the slop makes it difficult to easily install, but the battery life is long.

When i first installed it on my rx3115, charging orange led didnt start flashing. i also noticed that the ipaq didnt even recognize the new battery.

checked the new battery voltage and its OK. i realized that it came with a electronic board which i have no idea what is it for. so i had to actually disassembly the battery package, unsolder this electonic circuit that came with and replaced it with the circuit that the original battery came with.

After all this hassle, i had to leave the ipaq plugged in for almost 2 days before charge percentage finally moved above 0. now it works.

Canon PowerShot S110 12MP Digital Camera with 3-Inch LCD (Black)

Canon PowerShot S110 12MP Digital Camera with 3-Inch LCDAs we all know, Canon's S90 S100 models have pretty much set the bar in The Advanced Point And Shoot market for the last 4 1/2 yrs... Until recently ( With the advent of The Sony RX100). Canon sales more cameras than almost all other brands combined, this does not indicate, however; that they are the best in all categories, but that they are either the best over all, or at least in the top 5 for most classes of cameras.

I have owned many Canon Cameras and printers over the years, and I have been very happy with most of them, but I also place a lot of stock in fellow Amazon customer's reviews. For many months, I noticed that every other review, or updated one, for The Powershot S100 indicated a nasty lens error. That said, this time around researching advanced P&S's, I decided to see what other Brands such as: Nikon, Fuji, Panny and Sony were offering... What I found was this, Other brands have really took notice of The Canon S and SX line's success and or offering very stiff competition!

Sony has, IMHO, set the New Standard with the almost perfect Advanced P&S, The RX100. My coworker owns one, and it stomps all others in this now crowded class! Only problem is that it cost over $650.00, but the image quality, and low light rendering are truely amazing! Needless to say, Sony discounts its products about as often as Apple discounts its products... NEVER! The Panny Lumix LX5 and LX7, Nikon P300 and P310 and Fuji X10, are all now offering very good to excellent image quality in this class. You saw correct! I did include The Nikon Coolpix P310! Nikon has really stepped their game up with The Coolpix Line, in fact; this was the only model that came close to The Canon S100 and S110's Bang-For-Your-Buck. Price, it is $200 less than Canon S110, $450 less than The Sony RX100, while offering excellent I.Q., pocketabillity, low light performance and manual controls... Sans Raw mode. Came so close to getting The Nikon P310, before you judge me, just take a gander at the online sample shots of this camera!

In the end, I came back to The Canon S110. Chose The newer S110 over The S100 in the hopes of avoiding The Lens Error (Fingers Crossed). So happy with this camera! The S110 looks identical to The S100, but let me tell you, Canon has made some huge improvements with The 110. Canon has improved upon the sensor and auto focus speed of this model, added usable ISO, WiFi and touchscreen functionallity. Low light performance is a lot like that of The S95 and S100 combined. Allow me to explain. Sometimes The S100's colors would be a little off in low light, casting an orangish hue... as if shot in sepia. The Powershot S95 rendered sharp, detailed and very accurate colors in lowlight, but the lens was a bit slow under these conditions. I don't know what Canon did, but there is almost zero lag in AF, despite others claim that this is a slower lens or sensor than its predecessors. Color, contrast and sharpness are spot on! I predict that the next S model will have a larger sensor to be competitive with The Sony RX100's lowlight performance, but until then, I have to say that the S110 is very close in low light image quallity and will surpass the Sony, although at the cost of a higher price point and perhaps a larger form factor because of the larger sensor.

Battery life has never been an issue with me, because I rarely took over 100 pictures in a day and never used GPS tagging or logging. I also rarely shoot video clips longer than 10 min. in a day, also buy cheap aftermarket Batt.s as back-up. Canon's addition of WiFi to The S-Line is really cool and useful; I use it way more than I thought I would! It is implemented very well with this camera, much smoother and faster than using Eye-Fi's top of the line card... That's an $80 dollar value right there! Lol Also, I already own a Canon SX-230HS and many extra batteries. The S110 uses the same battery ( NBL-5) as The SX-230. Yes! Winning! WiFi connection with your smartphone or iPhone is almost instantaneous, once the App. is opened on the device, or printer turned on. GPS functions are combined with these WiFi transmissions between your phone and camera, and they are thus also instantanious.

The WiFi operates very efficently, and a cool, bright, blue LED lights up on the top of the camera when it is connected. It flashes when busy. The Camera asks if you would like to geotag or log your location while connected to your phone or computer. It is a 2 second affair, so GPS no longer drains your battery. Built-in GPS and Eye-Fi cards do not work nearly as seemless as this! I had issues when first setting this connection up, because I thought I could bypass the step where you connect the Camera to a computer via USB cable and run software CD... You have to do this step! I think you may have to also Register your S110 for it to properly set up initial WiFi.

Touchscreen: Very Responsive, and can be adjusted.... Nuff said on that.

CONS: The things I don't like about The Canon Powershot S110 are pretty much all ergonomically based. These things are true of the entire S series, and perhaps the indicative of the entire Class of these type cameras. They are not easily handled or operated... even on Auto! EXAMPLE: A friend, family memb., or pedestrian says, "Hey, YOUR NAME HERE, I noticed you are taking everyone else's picture, would you like me to take yours with the group?" You have to explain that this really tiny, hard to press button turns the camera ON. When it turns on be careful, because the flash is going to come up over here. If you want to zoom in it's the tiny switch here next to the shutter button. Now, you only want to press the shutter button halfway to compose the shot... it'll beep when ready, then you push it all the way down to take the shot. See? Some ergonomic issues have gotten better with this version of The "S".... others the same or worse. 1. Front grip is gone. 2. As on all The S Models, power button is way too small and recessed. 3.Mode wheel blocks index finger from shutter button. 4.Flash makes camera hard to handle with left hand. 5. if touchscreen shutter is on, camera will take picture if finger contacts screen before you are ready. I guess some things have to be sacrificed for a small form factor, but I feel comfortable giving anyone my Canon Elph 300HS and it is the smallest P&S ever produced!

There is no loud knocking noise when zooming in video, but there is a slight wherling sound when I zoom in video. Hard to notice and can only be heard when passage is very quiet during playback, but it's there... none the less. Wish Canon would get that worked out. All and all EXCELLENT IMAGE QUALITY and cool added features, deffinately recommended! The White is very cool looking and although glossy does not show prints as much as I had anticipated. The Black/Mat is sleek and modern looking like a stealth plane.... was a hard decision to make! UPDATE: Have now taken close to 400 shots. Still going strong! There are a few points that I should add to my review. Some I forgot, and some are new discoveries.

1. Wifi connection.: I own a Huawi Glory/Mercury Android smartphone which is still running Gingerbread. The S110 connects flawlessly with this phone, but what I found out is, you must be near an open WiFi network or hot spot for it to work. The Camera's Wifi will not work over 3G or tethered to your phones mobile hotspot. Also, The S110's WiFi will not connect wirelessly to Windows7 Basic,Starter or any OS older, such as XP or Vista. It won't work on Macs older than OSX 10 or whatever Apple's answer for Windows 7 was. I was told by a Canon Rep. that it works well with full versions of Windows 7, and extremely well with Windows 8. We will see. Waiting for Black Fri. to snag a Windows8 computer.

2. Touchscreen Shutter: Amazingly, the touchscreen functionallity of The S110

has really impressed my friends and family. It really comes in handy when I

give The S-110 to someone, in order to get in the picture myself or for

some one to swipe through the pictures, using their finger to preview.

3. Price Point: I purchased The Powershot S110 for $390 used, and it came

new, in box with all contents still sealed in plastic. Nice! The main reason

I purchased the S110 over the S100 was it was only $38 dollars more at that

time, and I felt that was a small Diff. to pay to hopefully avoid The Lens

Error. I really am happy with this little camera. The functions and menues

are very easy and quick to access with the lens ring and touchscreen. Before

I was using Auto way too much... Now, I am truely learning, in a fun easy way

about F-stops, apperature, ISO, white balance, shutter speed, etc. Things

that I already kinda knew about with my Eos T3 and even my S95, but seemed

to much trouble or laborious, are now fun and easily implemented to play

around with. I am having, "A Ha moments," where I think aaah, that's why

that turned

out good or bad with my DSLR... The S-110 is the perfect learning tool to

whip out of your pocket, purse, or Camera Case and start learning and capt-

uring. I also played around with The Canon G15 and G1X. Salesman at camera

store told me that G15 used pretty much the same sensor, lens and processor

as The Canon S100 and S110. The Powershot G1X really impressed me with its

image quality though; seemingly better than even the more expensive, Sony RX

100! I understood why when he told me it had an SLR sized sensor. The G1X is

a beast, though! Holding it, it felt the size and weight of my T3 without the

lens! Way too large, but may be Canon's answer to The New Sony, Panny, Fuji

and Olympias in this class. He offered it to me at the same price as the G15

$550 plus Uncle Sam's cut (Tax), but it still was more than I could afford.

So here I am. A happy S110 owner. Lol

Been using my new white S110 for a few days now and my initial impressions are:

Build Quality Very good, nicely finished has the look and feel of a quality product

Features: Touch screen is responsive, AF is speedy even in low light, knurled front ring makes adjustments easy and fast, typically good, easy-to-follow menu system and initial setup. LCD is bright and visible even in Florida sunlight. Auto white balance seems pretty good. The Auto function works surprisingly well choosing a scene mode and applying image parameters. With the Auto mode, I have not witnessed any unexpected blown-out highlights and shadow detail is pretty good. Image stabilization appears to work very well, perhaps 3 stops worth. Conversely, wireless setup is a monster nightmare that involves Canon Gateway, registering, modifying your network settings and then just maybe it will work. After almost 30 minutes of tinkering, I was able to transfer 16 photos to my laptop but it took almost 15 minutes to accomplish the transfer. Much easier to just use a card reader and then upload photos to social media sites, email, etc. Canon has not made this feature user-friendly. I will not be using the wireless capability.

Image Quality: Very good up to 800 ISO little noise, good detail, and color. 1600 is still good. 3200 perhaps for small prints only.

Overall: Good camera; however, Canon's engineers made the wireless curse-worthy. Build quality, image quality, handling, ergonomics are all above average. My only caveat involves the price...kind of pricey for a couple of features over the S100. If you can find an S100 with a serial number above 42xxx (infamous lens error problem), you'll have basically the same camera as the S110 sans the touch screen and the wireless features at a much less expensive cost. I plan to keep my S110 since it is so very pocket-able, fast, and puts out very decent images especially at lower ISO levels. Canon states that the S110 has a newly designed lens. I am just hoping they have rectified the frequent lens error problem of the S100. Time will tell.

Buy Canon PowerShot S110 12MP Digital Camera with 3-Inch LCD (Black) Now

The Canon Powershot S110 brings some key performance improvements as well as the touchscreen which makes this 4th generation S series camera probably the best yet.

With regards to image quality, I have to admit that I liked the S100's image quality better. The color, contrast, and sharpening levels seemed much better in that camera than they do in the S110. Not that the images are terrible. But JPEGS look a little crunchy at lower ISOs for my taste, and color and contrast by default give photos a flatter appearance than its predecessor (and the G15). It also overexposes and blows out highlights. Detail capture is quite respectable though. If you are willing to process the RAW files from this camera, you can get some really nice results. I just think the JPEGS aren't all that great compared to its predecessor. The camera does have good ISO performance though. I was quite impressed at ISO800 how good of a job the camera did at balancing noise reduction and detail retention.

Canon uses the same 5x F2-F5.9 lens as they did in the S100. It's unfortunate they haven't taken the opportunity to put a faster lens in this model because most of the competitors have much faster lenses on their cameras. That said, the lens is fairly sharp. It also zooms in and out fairly quickly.

Sadly, the camera has lost the little indent on the front which helped give you a more secure grip. However, the surfaced is textured in such a way where you can still get a decent grip, and it's not slippery like the Sony RX100. The LCD screen is 460k dots, and while it's pretty decent, I think Canon should have taken the opportunity to upgrade the resolution with this model. The big update this year with the LCD is that it is now a touch screen. To be honest, it's not very practical for adjusting camera settings but does work extremely well for touch focus and touch shutter. It's a much better setup than having to go into the menu to adjust the focus area. The touchscreen overall, though, is very responsive and works well.

The control ring up front remains on this model and is still excellent to use. With decisive clicks everytime you adjust something. You can of course customize the control ring up front to adjust a number of settings.

As far as performance goes, shot to shot times are about the same as the S100 but autofocus performance has improved on this model. I wouldn't say the camera has blazing fast autofocus but it should be plenty quick enough in most shooting situations.

As for the video, it is surprisingly good for such a small camera but is most suitable for short clips.

I think the Canon S110, which is selling for $400 right now, still offers a lot of camera for the money. It continues with the very decent image quality of its predecessors and adds a very useful touch screen for touch focus along with improved AF performance. In addition to still being the most pocketable enthusiast compact out there. There are some aspects of the camera which should have been improved with this model but were not, and that is unfortunate, but overall it is a great like its predecessors were.

The S110 is a truly amazing subcompact camera and is probably the best pocket able camera for under $350 you can buy at today's prices. The Sony RX100 is probably the best subcompact camera but it costs twice the S110 price and is missing some key new features that separate it from the subcompact camera competition. I rated the S110 5 stars because it is a great subcompact camera at a great price. The price does fluctuate so watch for a good deal if you decide to buy.

I upgraded my Canon S95 which is still working perfectly two years later after taking over 5000 images. The images I've taken with that camera rival the other more expensive digital cameras with larger sensors and lenses that I own. It's one camera I always have with me. When you compare the S95 with the S110, they almost look identical. There are of course a few changes in the button layout and the surface appearance. Why change a successful camera? The S110 is a tad heavier by a fraction of an ounce over the S95. The interface is the typical Canon interface and it's easy to find your way around. The separate video button is now standard on virtually all cameras today so that's not so special but it is nice to have.

The S110 has many new and improved features that make this camera an even a better camera than earlier versions. The processor, sensor and zoom have changed but the basic camera shape remains the same. The things I like a lot that are either new or improved from the Canon S95. The biggest changes came in the S100 released a year ago. That model while improving on the S95 had some lens issues on a number of the cameras especially when it was first released. You can see some of the negative reviews list the problems. If you didn't have a bad lens, you probably loved that camera. Today it sells for more than the S110 which is surprising.

The S110 has much faster autofocusing. It allows faster image capture. New image processor. Here are some other things which add greatly to the user experience.

1. Touch Screen interface. Helps in focusing on subject and faster setting things up.

2. WiFi that replaces the GPS unit is not present on S95. There are many possibilities with this...

3. F2 starts wider at 24mm instead of 28mm equiv.

4. Wider zoom range 5X versus 3.8X. So its wider and with more telephoto.

5. Better low light capability and a much expanded ISO range. Very high ISO images are possible.

6. Expanded digital zoom up to 20X is surprisingly good but not typical super zoom quality.

7. Many more manual and custom settings possible.

8. Expanded compensation

9. Slightly improved ergonomics with thumb rest and slightly rougher texture on the surface, allowing a better grasp. You still need the wrist strap for safety reasons.

10. Full high definition video, 1080P at 24FPS with separate video button.

11. Slightly stronger flash.

12. Excellent and expanded image stabilization. (Which is pretty good)

13. Excellent image quality with the new CMOS sensor. Much better low light images.

14. Many advanced features. (it does take time to try everything)

15. Separate charger for the battery, allows charging second battery while using the other battery

16. Has a new level meter to help keep your camera positioned correctly. It does help at times.

17. Contains some self-help on the LCD that can be removed.

The things that are not so great and that are not improvements.

1. Smaller battery, the same as the earlier SD series. It means fewer pictures per charge. Two of my earlier Canon subcompacts used the same battery so I now have spares.

2. Change from CCD to CMOS sensor brings some change in image quality and noise.

3. Flash pop up location pushes finger and can startle an unsuspecting holder.

4. HD video is MP4 and allows less video footage but is easier to edit.

5. Still only a small starter manual. Manual is PDF and can be downloaded.

6. No remote trigger. You can set delayed shutter snap at 2 or 10 seconds.

7. Button placement is similar but different. The power button is harder to push. The shutter button is larger.

8. The same popup flash that will hit your finger if you don't change your left hand position.

9. Build quality is very good but is not at the level of the Sony RX100. It is a combination of metal and plastic. Does feel very solid.

10. As you zoom out to about 100mm, the F stop is over F5 and not so great for low light. You may need to raise the ISO to get an image.

If you do decide to buy this camera or the Sony RX100, Panasonic LX7, you will not want to retire your dSLR, or Super zoom or whatever because those cameras offer features not possible with a very small camera without viewfinder. The Canon S110 is truly pocket-able and at the current price is half the price of the Sony RX100 making this camera seem like a best buy in the subcompact field. A subcompact camera is a must have camera because, you can carry it everywhere. The current crop of smartphones can take a decent images for the internet but don't come close to the image quality or convenience of the Canon S110 and other subcompact cameras.

Want Canon PowerShot S110 12MP Digital Camera with 3-Inch LCD (Black) Discount?

Before any camera pro jumps on me for choosing the S110 over the RX100, let me first explain why:

I am not a photographer or even an amateur one. I want quality photos and video when I am out, but easy.

It has to be easy for my wife to use

It has to fit easily into a pair of jeans pockets

I do not print photos or do any touch-ups. What I get from the camera, is what I have.

I currently own a Canon S95 and love it just do not like that its only 720p video and cannot zoom during video

The touchscreen is very useful and makes it easy to make sure I have the right focus. Zooming on photos was easy and second nature. Going back to S95, I quickly found myself trying to touch its screen.

That said, I felt the RX100 did take better photos. Its a superb camera, but consider these:

Its bulky compared to the S110, and though it fits in my jeans pockets, it is not comfortable

The UI is difficult sometimes to navigate. My wife could not figure it out. I was able to figure it out and did enjoy it, but the wife did not like it at all. Neither could a few friends at least not easily.

The video was better on the RX100 (60p vs Canon's 24p) but the Canon's video was very good also.

The battery life was better on the RX100 (my biggest gripe with the S110 is that I need to have a spare battery)

In a blind photo comparison on the laptop, 3 out of 4 family members picked the Canon's photos. It is probably because of the image processing that the Canon does. While I know that a true photographer would edit the RAW photos in Photoshop that is not me. What the camera gives me is what I share.

The price double the price of the S110, just didn't seem justified for a point-and-shoot person. Perhaps for the photographers out there looking for a companion to their DSLR, but not for me

I give it 4 stars because of the poor battery life and that 24p video is not enough

BoxWave Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi ClearTouch Anti-Glare Screen Protector (Single Pack)

BoxWave Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi ClearTouch Anti-Glare Screen ProtectorThis is an expensive piece of plastic. I installed this as soon as I got the camera (Canon Rebel XSi). It does seem to do a decent job of protecting the screen but on the other hand it also seems to make the screen a little harder to read in bright sunlight.

Very nice screen protector, easy to use, nice, smooth, the size is just right, would recommend to others if they need one

Buy BoxWave Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi ClearTouch Anti-Glare Screen Protector (Single Pack) Now

Applying the screen protector is simple, but it is difficult to keep lint off of the adhesive side. I actually had to clean the protector, according to the manufacturers clean-up procedure, before I could apply it for the first time... and I thought that I was being careful. It is clean now and it attached just fine.

I don't know why the product has the wording anti-glare in the title, because I think glare might be worse with the protector on. The screen is definitely not as clear with the protector on, but maybe its better than looking through a scratched screen because you had no protection.

It covers all of the lcd screen, but not all of the black border around the screen. That is probably a good thing though because otherwise it would make it difficult to not have overhang if you were a little crooked with your application.

Blackberry OEM microUSB Car Charger and micro USB Sync Transfer Data Cable with Charging Pod for Bl

Blackberry OEM microUSB Car Charger and micro USB Sync Transfer Data Cable with Charging Pod for Blackberry Niagara Tour 9630The really cool feature of the Blackberry Tour, and I'm sure some other units, is the ability to use a charger like this to simply drop the phone into it after a long day. It's a one-handed operation: the phone comes out of the pocket and is dropped into the cradle. No fumbling. Literally drop it and go. Other phones require two hands: (on some phones) open the charging port, find the end of the charging cord, figure out the proper orientation, insert, THEN drop the phone. Killer accessory for the Blackberry.

This stuff is all BlackBerry branded stuff. The cost of the car charger alone at retail is more than the whole set!

The little stand is a connector saver and turns the Tour into a nice clock.

It is hard to rate this product since I won't know how it works until I have something happen and have to get the warranty.

Nothing really more to say -started going through their dance of compliance & decided I needed to stay where I was. Not really sure why I do any of that as nothing I insure breaks :-) -maybe it would if not insured. :-) Just felt like toooo many steps for something purchased in conjunction with the item. YOU would think they might have a CLUE as to what you bought or if actually interested would have the information sent to them with the MONEY -BUT THEY DO NOT [THE MONEY IS SENT :-) ] -You just as well buy street side, a purchase made with the item does not let them know anything, TOTALLY IN THE DARK --COULD BE A SPACE CAPSULE, THEY DON'T KNOW & YOU NEED TO PROVE. Too much trouble... IF THEY ARE LINKED IN THE PAY DEPARTMENT, THEY COULD EASILY BE LINKED IN WHAT YOU PURCHASED ---"IF" THEY CARED TOO, easier to put proof on you & if wrong -money still stays with them & you just pay for ??????? A LITTLE MORE WORK FOR YOU!!!!!

Royal Blue Blackberry Trackball / Joystick / Navigate / Pearl / Ring Repair Replacement Fix Fixing

Royal Blue Blackberry Trackball / Joystick / Navigate / Pearl / Ring Repair Replacement Fix Fixing for Rim Blackberry Pearl 8100 8130 Curve 8300 8310 8320 8800 8820 8830 plus easy open opening tool.I use my BlackBerry Curve A LOT (probably over 4 hours a day), so I burn through a new track ball every few months or so. For the cost of replacement track balls it isn't worth wasting your time cleaning and reinserting old ones. AT&T will actually replace these for you as part of the limited warranty, but since mine is corporate issued it would take a decent effort to get the IT deparment to get it fixed I can't be without a phone for a few days while that happens, so I just replace the trackball myself.

The cleaning cloth and tool that come with it are just thrown away. Use your finger nail to pop the cover off much easier.

Good, cheap, and easy to replace.

I just got mine delivered. It comes with no installation instructions, but a quick youtube video tutorial helped out. Installation went without any problems at all. Just popped the ball in and the outside ring cover.

However, it does not Feel as solid as the Original Blackberry trackball. There seems to be a little play in its ball fitting. But it does the job. I dropped my blackberry while getting on a bus and consequently lost the original blackberry trackball assembly somewhere.

But it gets the job done. Beats AT&T's replacement price of $50 by miles.

Overall a Good product.

BlueAnt S4 True Handsfree Speakerphone & Wireless Bluetooth 2.1

BlueAnt S4 True Handsfree Speakerphone & Wireless Bluetooth 2.1First a short note for WP7 users. BlueAnt does work with WP7 even though nothing on the packaging or their website indicates it. And, after I updated my phone with the "Mango update" and changed a couple of WP7's settings (speech and ease-of-access), the BlueAnt now announces, reads, and responds to text messages too!

I love my BlueAnt and use it regularly. It took a few days to remember the commands but it now comes naturally. For example, I say "BlueAnt speak to me", it says "Say a command" then I say "Phone Commands". That starts WP7 on my phone to "listening". I then say for example "text John Smith", and WP7 takes it from there "say your message"...

BlueAnt does an excellent job of pairing and range is good too. I've found I like to clip it to my belt while working on projects around the house so I don't have to drop everything to answer my cellphone.

The only "cons" I can think of are the charge cable that comes with it is very short. It is a standard mini-USB though so you can use another if you have one. Also, it hasn't bothered me, but background noise does infrequently activate the voice command mode causing BlueAnt to say "Say your command". I just say "Cancel".

We've had a lot of fun with it too.

Me: BlueAnt, Speak to me.

BlueAnt: Say your command

Me: Disintegrate the vehicle blocking my path.

BlueAnt: (silence)

Me. Cancel

BlueAnt: Cancelled

Wife: LOL

I did not get the retail package. I got a used item that was DOA. It came wrapped to a piece of cardboard with missing item. Looks like I am the second one to get crap from this company. I returned it and will buy elseware.

The BlueAnt did not arrive in a retail package as described by the seller. It was packaged in a small plastic baggy with the instructions; an AT&T car charger and only one visor clip. Putting aside the sellers performance which I feel was poor, the BlueAnt itself meets expectations as a handsfree unit. It pairs with the phone easily. Call answering is easy with either voice command or touch control. In-call volume and clarity are excellent. Placing calls can be problematic as it is dependent upon your phones voice control capability although last number dialed and call-back for last call received work. Acceptable handsfree performance is therefore VERY dependent on the bluetooth and voice command/control capabilities of your phone.

I'm disappointed with this product. We had a previous version of the unit and really liked it. But this unit has disappointed. The older version had two buttons, one to make a call and another to hang up. This new one is 'hand free' and doesn't have buttons, great idea but doesn't work good for me. Having to say 'Blueant speak to me' then various command to make a phone call. I have a 50/50 chance of getting it call the person I want on the first try. It is frustrating saying 'BlueAnt speak to me' and nothing happening, then only to have issues once I say who I want to call. The second set of issues may be with my phone but the process is frustrating. I would prefer the 'manualiness' of a couple buttons.
