This is an expensive piece of plastic. I installed this as soon as I got the camera (Canon Rebel XSi). It does seem to do a decent job of protecting the screen but on the other hand it also seems to make the screen a little harder to read in bright sunlight.

Applying the screen protector is simple, but it is difficult to keep lint off of the adhesive side. I actually had to clean the protector, according to the manufacturers clean-up procedure, before I could apply it for the first time... and I thought that I was being careful. It is clean now and it attached just fine.I don't know why the product has the wording anti-glare in the title, because I think glare might be worse with the protector on. The screen is definitely not as clear with the protector on, but maybe its better than looking through a scratched screen because you had no protection.
It covers all of the lcd screen, but not all of the black border around the screen. That is probably a good thing though because otherwise it would make it difficult to not have overhang if you were a little crooked with your application.
