The Nook cases sold at Barnes and Nobles were not to my liking. Their price range was a bit iffy too. I wanted a stylish, professional, yet affordable case for my Nook. I know that neoprene and leather cases for ebook readers are a dime a dozen. They all seemed boring, generic, and common.
But this product from JAVOedge caught my eye. Wow! The tweed and faux leather combo gave the case a contemporary and eclectic look. I love the magnetic closures; soft interior lining; complete access to all ports; pockets for business cards, ID, and extra memory cards. Quality and finish is amazing. The case is sturdy and gives my Nook the protection it deserves. The fit is very snug.
I highly recommend this.I love this case. It holds my Nook firmly but gives me access to all buttons and the sync/charge port. The tweed feels nice in my hand, and the Nook actually seems lighter when it's in the case. I know it isn't, but the case balances it better than when it's "naked."
The quality is good, and I expect it to last a long time. It doesn't add much bulk, and using it makes it feel like I'm reading a paper book.
Everyone who sees it likes the way it looks.I take my recently purchased Nook Color around with me everywhere I go so I wanted a case for protective purposes. With their bright colors, puffy leather, and/or pouch-like designs with zippered or snap closures, most Nook Color cases look like they belong in the women's purses, wallets and accessories department which isn't good for a guy.
I happened to find this case during my search. Glad I did. It's a good looking cover that seems to protect my Nook well for now. Time will tell.
The cover is very nondescript. With only a tiny badge in the lower right hand corner, the gray tweed cover looks like a standard small daily planner instead of something expensive and electronic someone might be tempted to steal.
The Nook is held into place by a lot of leather not just a few elastic straps at the corners or a couple brackets at the top and bottom. All buttons on the Nook and the USB input at the bottom are easily accessible.
