This nano router came with Chinese firmware on it I had to flash2030 firmware from other mini tp link 3g router to get English. I'm shure that doesn't happen to often. So once flashed. The router worked well but had somewhat of a poor signal. I opened it up and found WiFi antenna's then I got a WiFi wire or SMS wire or whatever the small wireless antennas screw onto. Like a PCI wireless card antenna or the small router antenna jack. And I solderd the WiFi wire to send and receive. You want your inner core to send. But would probably work either way. Then drilled hole in router and mounted jack. Closed it back up. Now I used a 7dbi magnetic antenna looks like small cell phone car antenna. And signal is close to a football field away. Maybe a bit more. So I power this router off of a solio rechargeable solar batterie. Works great for my house where I'm down at swimming hole and can't quite see my WiFi. I set up nano and solio with magnetic antenna up on pole and wds bridge the connection. Now all my friends and me have WiFi while swimming at river. Also when I'm at car Jr. and they have no WiFi I'll leave this set up in my car, running on USB CIG adapter, with mag antenna on top of car. Go into carols Jr admin into nano in car with android phone wds to b-king or mc'd and magic WiFi in whatever resteraunt I'm at. Thus there be wifi! about ye scallywags!!.Save 30% Off
