Snakebyte iDroid:con Rechargeable Bluetooth Game Controller for Android and iOS Devices, Black (SB0

Snakebyte iDroid:con Rechargeable Bluetooth Game Controller for Android and iOS Devices, BlackI purchased this controller, thinking I could play games on my Nexus 7 with it. I had problems where the device would sometimes connect, and not others. I was going to return it when I realized it was PC compatible. In about five minutes of setup, I had Big Picture Steam working perfectly.

I bought this controller for my bf for xmas. Since he has been using consistantly he has noticed that it works with everything he needs it to. However, he says it is difficult to set up, mainly due to the lack of standardization of supported devices of apps in the app store.

My bf is a computer/technology geek and knows the ins and outs of android programs.

Since android has no real standard for controllers you usually have to rely on app developers to integrate controller support. This is no problem for this controller! Android actually picks it up as a controller and it is fully usable. Since it has 4 other compatibility modes its almost garunteed to work and is future proof for android updates. This is a charm with emulators with keyboard mode. Its a little finicky connecting it and switching modes but I assume that's a Bluetooth limitation. The quality is really nice, has an xbox360s matte finish with the feel of the ps3s buttons. If you're looking for a controller, buy this one. Its absolutely worth it!

Very fast response, easy and painless set-up

The only drawback is the fact the one has to switch profiles for different systems and games but this is hardware limitation

I would recommend it to anyone playing games with game controller

First time charging... appeared to fully charge, but only lasted a few minutes and only a couple buttons worked. Second time charging... DEAD!! Haven't had time to try and return it. Hopefully that goes better.

eForCity Hotsync & Charging USB Cable for HP iPAQ

eForCity Hotsync & Charging USB Cable for HP iPAQThe two connectors I had for my iPaq h1945, aka h1940 (one cable for the PC connection, another for charging alone) started messing up (specifically the metal catches on the sides got bent -be careful about this as it can happen with any of these, but it did take some years for it to happen to me.) One started making my PDA produce a buzzing noise if I didn't plug it in just right, which is obviously more than a little bit worrying, so that one is in the trash now since I want my PDA to continue to last for a long time yet. I ordered this because it's the only one not at a ridiculous price. One little oddity though. The part labeled "up" goes down! It took me a little while to figure out why it wasn't going in and just as I got worried it was the wrong thing I tried it the other way and was surprised to see it work.

Pros:

Snug fit probably won't mess up as easily over time assuming it doesn't break the interface in the PDA...

Rolls up into something more convient that the ordinary to carry around.

Universal compatibility with charging systems since it's plain USB (you can buy adapters to plug into a wall or car -in fact, there are systems that can provide power to a USB device via a rechargable battery and this works with those as well as any adapter.)

Great price! Well, actually, it feels to me like it is priced at what its worth, but for some reason the usual price is around $20 or so which is ridiculous for just a charger/sync cable...

Cons:

Cable could be a little longer. I like to leave my PDA charging on a dresser, but I'm going to have to use an extention cord just to do this now.

USB ONLY. You can't plug in the standard charger that comes with the PDA for power. This wouldn't be so bad, but USB only allows up to 500mA per bus. I don't know exactly how much power the PDA uses while running, but it seems to be enough that you don't really get much if any of a charge while plugged into USB whereas the charger provides 2A of power so it easily lets the PDA run purely off of external power AND charge at the same time. But then I'm not entirely certain it can't still do this as the PDA surely can't use all of 500mA or its little 940mAh batter wouldn't last very long at all...

I got this for my iPaq hx2795 and it works good for transferring files. but it needs activesync and it doesn't charge. it is the same speed as the dock that came with the Pocket PC. the main advantage over the dock is it is more portable, it is 3 feet long. I was hoping that it could be used without activesync but you can't, and that it was faster then the dock but it's not, and that it will charge my PPC but it doesn't.

The cable works fine, and the price is excellent. The only reason I did not give this a 5th star is that I ordered 15 of these and they each arrived 3 ft -not the 5 ft as detailed in the technical specifications. Since our field sales people will be using these for customer presentations, the extra 2 ft would have been really helpful. But, we are in a time crunch and need to work with what we have in hand. Overall, this is a decent cable at a great price.

I can't say I hate it or I love it because it did not work at all and the reason why could have been that the unit being charged had malfunctioned. I don't know if the cable was the problem. Other than that the price and delivery was very good.

Serial Adapter - Plug-in Module - Compactflash Card - RS-232 - 921 Kbps

Serial Adapter - Plug-in Module - Compactflash Card - RS-232 - 921 KbpsI purchased this to connect a Dell PDA to a Raven GPS system. It works very well for this combination. I have also purchased a "non-ruggedized version," and I wouldn't recommend it unless absolutely necessary. It is little more flimsy in the connection between the cable and the CF card, and extra care needs to be taken when handling the "non-ruggedized" version. Overall, I am very pleased with this product.

I did not like it because it would not work for the application for which I purchased it. I was using it to access a Vaisala 555B weather station. I tried an early version Quatech Model: SSCFR-100 which worked great with my Dell Axim X50 PDA. I don't understand why it would not work.

We have been trying to use the I/O card with a Jornada 548 with Fowler Gages' digital calipers and Taltech's CE-Wedge software. We were warned by Socket Communications that there was a potential problem with freezing up if the serial com port was not turned off before turning off the computer. Based on this, we purchased the card and were careful not to do this, but found that after 1-3 hours of work, the computer froze up to the point that we needed to remove the battery to get it to turn off. Based on this with 2 computers, we do not recommend the combination. Socket agrees that there is a problem with the driver, but has no plans to make any changes. Suggests using a Compaq IPAQ instead.

Easy installation for my Casio E115, I used it to connect to a barcode scanner for stocktaking a warehouse. The speed is ok (I wonder if there're 4Mbps models anyway?), and the connectors seem to be stretchable and durable enough for the job.

USB Mini Portable Hand Held Air Conditioner Cooler Fan

USB Mini Portable Hand Held Air Conditioner Cooler FanThis air conditoner works very well it was heavly usedthis summer and never reduced its performance it works perfect and the air is cold

I got this because I absolutely dislike the heat. This product works like a charm! The air that comes through feels cooler than when using a fan and it's about 18% of the price of the original product. I use it while I'm cooking and washing dishes. I can set it down up-right on the counter and change the angle of the air-flow. Wonderful!

After about a week of use a few hours a day, it died. I know this is the knockoff brand, but I still expected to get a bit more than 15 hours of use out of it.

Very disappointing and not worth the cost to return/exchange it.

Aluminum Metal Case for Dell Axim X51/X51V/X50/X50V (Extended Battery) (Black)

Aluminum Metal Case for Dell Axim X51/X51V/X50/X50VAluminum Metal Case for Dell Axim X51/X51V/X50/X50V (Extended Battery) (Black)

I really like the new Annodized Black Aluminum case that I got for my Dell Axim X51V PDA. It fits in the case perfectly even with the extended battery. The case is also nicely lined with rubber to prevent scratching. Also, the annodized outside of the case looks very durable. My wife uses annodized pots and pans. They seem to last forever. Although I have not had the case very long, I believe it will probably outlast my PDA.
