Acer Aspire V5-471P-6605 14-Inch Touchscreen Laptop (Silky Silver)

Acer Aspire V5-471P-6605 14-Inch Touchscreen LaptopI will keep this relatively short-you get what you pay for! For the current listed price there is no other 14" touchscreen on the market at this price point. I have now had this laptop for nearly a week and it is pretty fast. I ordered 4gb of ram along with the computer to upgrade to 8gb total. This makes all the difference and for roughly $25 you can get the most out of this computer with this simple upgrade that a child could install. Backlit keyboard is great and illuminates nicely without blinding you in very dark locations. As for the fit and finish-I personally like it. It really is silky in feel. The computer itself is solidly built and all parts fit well. Also, the speakers on this thing are great for a budget laptop. They get a lot louder than previous laptops I've had and with more body. They really sound the best when the laptop is sitting on a hard surface so they can reflect sound off of it since they are on the bottom. My only issues with this laptop are the wifi and the smallish battery. The wifi disconnects on a regular basis and has to be reset. Three hours on the internet and I will have to reset atleast twice. I will probably just get a nano usb wifi module to fix this situation. That being said, still a great purchase as long as I get 2 years out of this thing.

This is a great laptop and definitely worth the price. I had some issues with the wifi staying connected, but went to Acer's site and downloaded a different driver and now it works perfect! I love the touchscreen! It has everything I need in a computer and very happy with the purchase.

I needed and new computer and figured Windows 8 was the future, but designed for a touch screen, so felt that that would be the way to invest. Spent the afternoon, yes it arrived in 16 hours after order placed, playing and feeling comfortable returning to "start" when I couldn't figure any other way to move on....my friends are frustrated, but without a touch screen computer I can understand the reason.....I highly recommend this computer as it is stylish, speedy and fun to work....so far it has been easy to become familiar with the system.

This computer is fast, sleek, and advanced for a budget price. The only draw back is that the wifi reception can be a little iffy at times. There has been a few times that my wife and I were sitting right next to each other with laptops at work. Her Lenovo had no apparent issues, whereas this Acer would loose signal or have limited internet connection warnings.

Palm PDA Compatible Li-Ion Battery - DAPDA145LI

Palm PDA Compatible Li-Ion Battery - DAPDA145LIThe picture of the battery showed it was rated at 900 mAh. Per the specifications, it was rated at 850 mAh.

What I received was rated at 650 mAh, approximately 75% of what it should have been. When I contacted , they said the picture was "only a representation", and they changed sources at will. They promised to check their stock and call me back, but never did. My only recourse was to ship it back for a refund or use it as is. Since my original battery was pretty far gone, I used it, and it does work. But I would not trust in the future.

Delivery was only to a USA address, but when it eventually arrived in the UK it was easy to fit, although it required some soldering.

Buy Palm PDA Compatible Li-Ion Battery - DAPDA145LI Now

I can't say how long the original battery lasted when new because I inherited my Palm Z22. It was several years old when I acquired it and the battery lasted all of 2 or 3 days whether I even turned it on or not. Playing Bejeweled! drained the battery within 20 to 30 minutes.

Since replacing the battery with the Palm PDA Compatible Li-Ion Battery I can go at least 2 weeks without needing a charge, with general daily use (adding or looking up contacts, jotting down notes, checking my calendar, etc.). To test the battery further, I played Bejeweled! during an hour long car ride. The battery still had close to two-thirds of its charge after playing almost the entire ride.

Changing the battery is not easy but I found a video on YouTube showing the process and managed to accomplish the task.

For the price, this is an excellent choice for a replacement battery for your Palm.

Dane-Elec my-Ditto Home Network Server, MD-H15001E23S (White)

Dane-Elec my-Ditto Home Network Server, MD-H15001E23SI bought this device to replace a desktop machine that I did not want to leave on all the time because of the power it tended to draw. I was also interested in the RAID capabilities, given I had recently had some drive issues with my desktop. It was difficult to find ahead of time how much power this draws.

If you are going to use the RAID mirroring, do it right out of the box (says so in the manual). The user interface is ok, and I did not have any problem with setup. The desktop application (which is not needed for general use) was a bit doggy, but I don't use it much. The desktop UI provides for backup capabilities which I might explore at some point.

I am using the device primary with network shares and like the fact that you can create multiple users, each with their own shares.

The device draws about 17 watts when idling.

It is not a quiet as I hoped, the power supply fan runs all the time. I am going to have to move the device to another location because my office is quiet other than that.

Overall, I am happy with the device, and have only dinged it one star for the power supply noise. It seems to me that they should have been able to use passive cooling, so there would only be the noise from the disks running (like other USB drives I have).

March 2011,

I purchased the 4TB unit in Feb. and have used it for about a month.

The product probably should get 5 stars because it's easy to setup and use as described. I'm using Raid1 (2TB mirrored) and counting on the server being a primary backup for our home computers and a remote access for our family away from home. The internal drives are Hitachi which were manufactured in 2009, so half the Hitachi warranty was over when received. My Ditto only has a 1 yr warranty which I consider short.

myDitto is currently working fine and my son's family is using it from MKE as well.

There are some short comings which caused me to give this 4* instead of 5*

1. The unit is shipped with only a quick start guide and you need to download the user manual from the website. […] And the manual is the only place to explain administrative functions. It is also incomplete.

2. Technical support is very weak. The support website is non-functional as I waited 3 days for no response to questions. You will be able to get a slow email response to questions to the contact support url above. There is no support phone number or address, but I obtained this:

DANE-ELEC USA

15770 Laguna Canyon Road, #100

Irvine, California 92618 USA

Phone: (877) 428 2363 (from inside the US) | Phone: +1 949 450 2970

techsupport@dane-memory.com

3. Do not use the Master Key on your first use of myDitto with an Id other than "admin". I did and the unit created a user account which it paired with the Master Key invalidating its use for administrative functions. After several weeks support finally emailed that I needed to create a new Master Key on a virgin USB flash drive. These keys get paired with an ID and cannot changed to a new ID (I didn't try reformatting a key).

4. Admin functions are limited. e.g. you can't limit space usage by users.

5. I've had some Raid errors which I did get fixed using the Raid Fix button in advanced services. But I couldn't get the button to appear once and emails didn't resolve until I cold booted the server. The unit has been solid for over a week.

6. I'm using XP SP3 and can only do a Windows backup to the Public folders. I'd rather do it my private ID folder, but don't have a solution for this yet.

In spite of all this, I like the myDitto unit. It is a good value at Amazon's price. But I don't have 100% confidence in it yet. Only time will tell.

Buy Dane-Elec my-Ditto Home Network Server, MD-H15001E23S (White) Now

Bought this a week back to set up a central data repository for my home... and there are Macbook, iPad, android, windows 7 and XP. Lot of photos, movies, mp3s and other files.

Set up:

Easy. I use in Raid-1 mode. The other options are Raid-0 and JBOD Just a Bunch Of Drives ). Hooked the network cable, it found the IP, and ready to go.

Created two accounts. Sharing is easy across user accounts.

Initial data load :

Annoying ! when myDitto client software works, it is fine. But if the myDitto client crashes, it does not remember the list you created for transfer. and now you go and find out what is not backed up and create another list. To keep you in pain, it will ask you to confirm every time it finds a duplicate. No 'skip all' option. What a pain! But once done, things seems to be ok. Client Program helps you to mount myDitto as a drive in your Mac and Windows machines.

IPAD / Android : I can access data from both iPAD & Android. Very easy to configure. You can access even out side your home network. No streaming support for videos. So forget about watching movies unless you are ready to download the complete movie to your iOS or Android device.

Mac / Window 7 / XP : Works well.

Streaming : No streaming support for video. This is another teaser. You can see the video file, but wont be able to play it unless you download as a local copy. So forget watching blueRay or HD movies.

Looks : Above average. Not Jennifer Lopez.

Sound : Some where between smooth Jazz and rock. not horrible.

Overall : Hmm... not perfect. Biggest annoyance is that the client program crashes during the initial, large data load...leaving you search for words those are not in bible. You will search for same words when you come across lack of video streaming support. Otherwise, good product.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program For the past few years I have been using an HP Mediavault NAS for home use. It has been nothing but trouble pretty much from day one so when I had the opportunity to tryout this Ditto I was very excited. All in all the Ditto has not disappointed.

It it much faster than my old Mediavault and at a whopping 1TB holds quite a bit more as well.

Setup was a breeze though the instruction guide included is useless. A quick visit to Ditto's website provided me with the full instruction manual which was very helpful. I copied my files from my HP to the Ditto and now use it to back up all my home computers. The thing is very fast for home use!

I thought the USB keys are a nice touch. I was able to test out this feature and thought it worked well. I can now access my home files easily when away from home. It is very secure as well.

All in all, very happy with this unit. It is a nice compact size that won't take up a lot of room.

The one "negative" I find is that it is quite loud especially when the hard drive is whirling away, but that is more an annoyance than anything else.

UPDATE 6/13/2011 wish I could give it six stars! I recently purchased an iphone and found that I can download a "MyDitto" app to the phone which allows me to access data on the Ditto from anywhere through my phone! Wow! I can now view pictures, stream music, all from anywhere right to my phone. This is quite a great little home NAS!

Want Dane-Elec my-Ditto Home Network Server, MD-H15001E23S (White) Discount?

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program Overall, this is a very nice NAS. Its ability to serve files with only a password through the my-Ditto app is a handy feature. I also like the remote access using the USB key, although there is a potential security issue.

I quickly set up the server and copied a bunch of music files over. This NAS seems a bit slower than my NETGEAR ReadyNAS Duo even using the same hard disks (Hitachi 1TB). It might just be my impression since I am so used to the ReadyNAS. I later decided to install another 1TB HDD and configured the my-Ditto as RAID 1. This wiped out all the data unfortunately. I did expect it to do that. Still it took a long time to format the disks and configure for RAID operation. Once operational, copying files is still sluggish and it takes time for mirrored images to appear.

A feature of the ReadyNAS I often use is the automatic download from the front USB port. The my-Ditto has a USB copy button but it is only for the rear USB port and is not automatic. I question why they placed the rear USB port so close to the power switch. It would be easy to accidentally switch the unit off when blindly plugging in the USB stick. When testing, both NAS took roughly the same amount of time to copy the contents. The my-Ditto does beep to indicate copy start and stop.

Both the my-Ditto and ReadyNAS show up on the network and are visible other computers and devices (e.g. TV, DVD player, TiVo).

This allows me to charge and move files on and off my Reader. Also, it's one piece, with one usb cord for the computer, and one charger and one usb connection for your Sony Reader. Both the usb charge, and separate power charge work fine. It's long (not too long), about the length of the usb cord that came with the Sony Readers, maybe a bit longer. I guess the separate power charge simply works faster than over usb to usb. If you're worried that it may kill your Sony battery, or something, I usually forgot I have it connected, and end up charging for 5+ hours, with no problems yet. So if you need a replacement cord, this is what you're looking for.

Toshiba 8GB High Speed SDHC Memory Card

Toshiba 8GB High Speed SDHC Memory Card(2008 HOLIDAY TEAM)This memory card is compatible only with devices (usually cameras) that can use SDHC, a relatively new high capacity memory card that greatly increases the storage space without changing the size of the card from the maximum 2 GB of regular SD cards. Check your camera/device to make sure you can use this before you spend the money. Otherwise, you'll have to settle for 2GB of SD memory. This card holds tons of 10MP photos -my camera lists 2000 photos at 9 megapixels, but I've never been able to max it out. If you really use a lot of memory, you may want to consider the pricier (and twice as large) Toshiba SDHC Memory Card 16GB.

Consumers should shop around for the best price in 8GB SDHC cards since one manufacturer doesn't necessary create a better card than another and since prices often change. As long as you stick with known brands and reputable dealers, you should not have any problems.

PDair BX1 Black Leather Case for Nintendo 3DS

PDair BX1 Black Leather Case for Nintendo 3DSThis is heavy duty, classy and all around great cover for the 3DS. I have had it for a year and it looks like brand new. I can carry a game or two and a cloth or the ar cards in this case. The only problem with it is you cannot use the 3DS recharge station with the case on which is a bummer. The one thing that I do like and I absolutely wanted on the case was to be able to use the 3DS with the case on and that is the way it works. You never have to take the case off to play games, a must for me. Little bit more pricey then other cases but for me well worth it.

Buy rooCASE Tablet Carrying Bag for Toshiba Thrive 10.1-Inch Android Tablet - Deluxe Series Dark Blue / Now

I thought about buying a more inexpensive carry bag for my tablet, then I thought, what do I do with the power cord or the tablet keyboard/charging dock, the stylus? Cause you know when you don't have it with you, you'll need it. So that was my deciding factor in buying a carry bag, but I didn't want a bulky laptop case to tote around either, then I found this case on Amazon and took a chance on it. I'm very pleased with this case, it's slim, it has carry handles and a padded adjustable carry strap, there is firm padding on all interior sides and a padded separation for my keyboard/dock, four zippered compartments to keep everything organized and even rubber feet to keep it slightly elevated when setting on the floor. Comes in several colors, I have the blue with black trim and one very important feature, if you have your tablet in a folio case as I do, it fits perfectly with the case on in the padded slot the elastic strap inside the bag holds the tablet snugly in place. Now I wouldn't drop it off the roof or drive over it, but I'm confident that any 10.1" tablet inside would survive the bumps and drops it might encounter in everyday use. It's a nice durable, well made case.

First of all this product was recieved, as always or at least most of the time with products ordered through Amazon, amazingly quickly and in perfect condition. This case is perfect for my needs. The Thrive fits snuggly but is easy to put into and take out of the bag. I like all of the zippered pockets there are on the bag. It's light and easy to carry. In the past, when I went on vacation I was used to lugging my heavy laptop in it's large shoulder bag and then my other electronic devices, ipod, etc. in another smaller bag. Now that I have the Thrive I won't be taking the laptop on vacation anymore (poor thing) and I believe I can fit everything I used to take in this one easy to carry bag. I can't think of any Cons in relation to the bag. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

HHI Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime TF201 Case UrbanFlip Series with Viewing Stand - Purple (Package

HHI Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime TF201 Case UrbanFlip Series with Viewing Stand - PurpleThis case was everything I expected--very cute, nice quality. Pretty color, easy to use, slim enough to fit into my carrying case with tablet and keyboard. Love how it folds over to stand up. The stylus pen included got lost in the packaging because it's small, so be sure to look for it! Pen is okay for now, but I will probably buy a better stylus once I get a little more practice under my belt and know exactly what I need.

I purchased this case as something cheap and easy to protect my tablet. Without any reviews I didn't know how long it would last, but it looked nice and seemed to be of comparable quality to others listed in that price range. I also loved the carbon fiber texture which I haven't seen many with.

I was pleasantly surprised. This case is surprisingly durable and stylish.

The stand features work the same as other cases of the like and holds the tablet at a good angle for viewing (of course using it in a keyboard angle is upside down like other cases). It's comfortable to hold with the cover flipped around. The case openings all line up pretty well for the features of the Transformer Prime. Strong enough magnets in the cover keep it closed. It does add some weight but seems to be just enough to make it feel sturdy. It feels like a thin hard back book.

The only downsides I see are the same as with most covers of this type. It's difficult to use the back camera as the cover obscures it when flipped around, This can be avoided by putting it in stand position which is relatively easy to use while taking pictures/video. You also have to leave the cover open to charge it due to the cover being on the side of the charging connector.

The corners are not as well protected as I would have liked, but there is some gap between the cover and the tablet. It will take some bumps but I don't expect it to survive a drop on the corner. Though, All the sides are very well protected.

The worst thing I can say about what I purchased is about the added sketch stylus pen. On my transformer prime with no screen protector it barely worked. No matter how I used it, it wouldn't register or make many marks in a sketcher program. It wasn't why I bought the case so I consider it a freebee toss away.

Overall I would rate this as a great tablet cover and well worth the price. Just don't buy it for the stylus.

All buttons are accessible including both cameras. Ok, you have to leave the case open when charging. I added a small Velcro strip to the flap so that when at the low angled it doesn't collapse when you apply pressure when using on your lap. It does its job very well.

The case works, functions as advertised, and has no real problems with it. The TF201 fits [tightly], and you shouldn't have any trouble with its functionality.

In my opinion, there are a few things I don't like about it. For one, it feels a bit flimsy. It has the feel of cardboard (where if someone were to bend it, it would stay that way forever). I've had it for some time, and it seems to be warping a bit like cardboard on its edges.

Another thing: the flap that holds the tablet in place when you wish to stand it up is also a bit flimsy, and will wear out in time -not quickly, but with enough time (circa 1 year if I had to estimate); it's already begun to wear out a little bit; I've had it for a couple of months, mind you. The covering also seems be weathered, and I've yet to expose it to rain or any type of direct moisture; keep that in mind.

As you can see by the images, you can only prop it up in two positions, so if you're looking to have a versatile case, look elsewhere.

As for the stylus, it's crud. Literally one of the worst styli I've ever used. It's made of plastic, and will almost certainly be misplaced within a week. Again: the item IS cheap!

In short, if I had to make the decision again, I'd go with something else.

Flip Mino & Flip Mino HD Silicone Protective Cover Skin Case (Black)

Flip Mino & Flip Mino HD Silicone Protective Cover Skin CaseI got this knowing that it was silicon, but it was the only reasonably priced case for my flip video camera. The case was fine for a while, but slowly started to loosen up. The case is EXTREMELY hard to put in your pocket, but if you are putting it in a purse or something it will work perfectly fine. Dust was also a problem with this case if you are as OCD as I am. I was constantly rubbing the dust off whenever I grabbed the thing. The only upside, which was pretty important was that the case really does protect your camera. I have had a couple drops and falls and the camera looks brand new. So looking at the pros and cons, you decide if this product is right for you. Hope this helped.. :)

I bought this item and was very excited to put it on my Mino HD immediately. It's black, silicone and has all the proper cut outs. It slipped right on.

Problem was that after putting it on, it wasn't tight fitting and it felt like it could easily come off.

I'd say it's okay but not the best because of the loose fit.

Compared to the silicone protective cover for my iPod, this feels rough and kind of unpleasant. It's also a looser fit, at least for the Flip Mino HD. Adequate but if I could have felt the material before I bought it, I might have chosen something else. The checkered texture on the more closed side, for a better grip, is also unattractive to me and seems to collect dust.

Fit is good and it allows all controls to be operated well. Definately adds a level of protection for falls, and a little adheasion when in a shirt pocket.

Alum All-in-one Card Reader

Alum All-in-one Card ReaderThis little card reader will accept 24+ different cards and works perfect for my needs.

Win XP, I'm still running it, I refuse to switch over just yet.

I mainly got this for use with all my SDHC Extreme III cards that I use in my camera. While I'm out shooting I tend to switch between a few different 8GB cards and it gets to be a pain to have to plug them back into the camera just to read them. As soon as I plugged this device in the computer recognized it and started installing the device automatically, always a plus when a USB device gives no issues. By the time I had my card out of my camera bag and in the device it was finished installing. Once the card was in I got the good ole pop-up screen for the folder and I was ready to start transferring files. Transfer rate seemed to be pretty fast, faster than from my camera.

For 8GB of pictures it shaved a couple minutes off of the transfer time which was quite nice.

I tested a few other card types that I have and all worked without fail.

I especially like the dedicated MicroSD slot, that's nice to have! My phone uses these and so does my sansa fuze.

Pros:

Compact very small, fits perfectly in the bay drawer that I have on my tower just for these type of things, plenty of room to spare!

Slot placement all the major cards are on the front while the lesser used Compact Flash slot is on the back (not many devices are using the huge cards anymore).

Easy to understand lights It's simple, the Blue means power to the device, Red means accessing the information...

Cons:

Only one I can come up with is that the USB plug seems to be upsidedown which really isn't a Con, just more of a funny thing to notice. I got a bit of a laugh out of it.

Really this little guy couldn't be any simpler, granted not many card readers are....

They state the price should be but I notice that Amazon is selling it for a couple bucks more. That's not right. I got it for a steal almost from another source though so I'm good with my purchase.

I love this reader... not only is it stylish looking, but I'm the go-to guy in the office when anyone needs photos or info from a card their computer can't read. This little gem opens everything.

FEATURES: It does read SDHC cards. One of my irritations as a technology shopper is that there are a LOT of card readers on the market that claim to read SDHC cards, when in fact, they do not. This one does, and a whole lot more.

No driver disk included or needed. Well-constructed. Small in size, 3½" x 1½" x ½". Will fit in a shirt packet.

NEGATIVES: Creates 4 additional drives on your computer, whether or not there is anything in them. You have to click on each drive to figure out which one is accessing your digital card.

Scosche SolBAT II Solar Powered Backup Battery and Charger for iPods & Other MP3 Players

Scosche SolBAT II Solar Powered Backup Battery and Charger for iPods & Other MP3 Players
  • Use your existing USB cable to charge most devices, including iPod, iPhone, MP3, Blackberry and more.
  • Internal 1500mAh Lithium-Ion battery stores power for whenever you need it and recharges from the sun or the included USB cable.
  • Includes windshield mount cradle & universal carbineer mount.
  • Output: 5VDC 500mA.

I had my doubts about how this product would actually work and if it would allow me to charge my Iphone3GS because Apple has made its phone series very picky about chargers. I can safely say that this product charges WITHOUT forcing the popup about being a non-standard charger. The unit itself its quite small and I have it attached to the windshield of my car with the included suction cups. I'm using it to charge up my phone while running the Navigation and Traffic Apps (which really drain the phone). Overall I would rate it 5 stars and I'm considering purchasing another for additional devices that I could carry with me on trips.

This was great the first four times I used it. It allowed me to charge the battery on my iPhone 3gs from 20 % to 85%. The bummer is that it only did this four times before it has completely died. It no longer takes a charge via solar cell nor via the charge cord.

Purchased here on Amazon, it charges via the included ipod cable and also has a USB out port for charging anything else that has a USB enabled charger. Charged my droid from 30% to 100% in about an hour and that was even in cloudy conditions. Status lights show when it is receiving enough light to create charge and another status light shows when it is charging the connected device. It will even hold a charge like a battery so you can leave it in the sun to charge up then bring it in and connect it to your device. I may buy another!

Once set up, this charger is great to have around. I bike and camp a lot and it's great to have a charger that doesn't need electricity. But, as another reviewer pointed out, the instructions for this charger are very unclear. Some chargers (not solar powered) indicate the amount of charge left. With this charger, there is no way to know whether the it's fully charged or almost out. The only way to tell it's charged is that the "charge in" light goes out when plugged in or in sunlight. Definitely take the advice of another reviewer and start out by fully charging this through the USB connection. I think it's best use is to have it in constant sunlight during the day (hooked on your bike or backpack) then charge your ipod/iphone ect. overnight. But once you figure out it's idiosyncrasies, and if your activities take you away from electricity for hours/days at a time, it's really useful.

I bought this with full knowledge of the physics limitation on this device. For those of you who thought this would be a replacement for the Household AC plug in or even a car charger, I am sure you were disappointed. First off here is the science behind the device. It has a internal 1500mAh Lithium-Ion battery. My Nexus S Google phone has a Samsung 1440mah Lithium-Ion Battery. Great you say. Here's the catch. Though the Scosche SolBAT II may have more little more juice than the phone battery itself, when it begins to discharge its energy to the cellphone, at some point the energy ( I am trying to explain it in non-scientific terms), in the Scosche SolBAT II will reach the same energy level in the cellphone (equilibrium) and it will no longer transfer its energy. That means that the charger will not bring your cellphone up to 100% or even 80% charge. You are looking at 40% to 50% charge max, that's it. Now in a pinch, when you are hiking away from civilization or at the beach or on a train where there are no outlets, this device will recharge your battery to a level that you can use your phone. That's the greatest feature, but it will not do what you expect from an AC outlet. Which is to recharge your phone to the 100% level. So don't expect that. Yes, the manufacturers could have built a device with a stronger internal battery, three maybe four times the energy level, that could recharge your phone closer to the 100% level. But then it would cost three of four times the price. For $20 you get a charger that does not draw from the electric grid, it will bring a dead or dying cellphone battery back to life to an acceptable level for moderate usage. Understand the limitations, and you will be happy with this remarkable device. Hope this helps everyone in making their purchasing decision. I am happy with the product, I know what it is and isn't capable of doing. I am glad I have it, since the electric grid isn't always available. Also you can recharge the Scosche SolBAT II using household electric current too.

White with Green and Red Lilly Flower Rubber Texture Snap on Apple Ipod Touch 4 / 4th / 4G / itouch

White with Green and Red Lilly Flower Rubber Texture Snap on Apple Ipod Touch 4 / 4th / 4G / itouch Gen Generation 8GB 32GB 64GB Mp3 CaseI have a case very similar to this one on my 3rd generation ipod touch. I have dropped it off of the second floor of my house and it protects the ipod incredibly. when looking for a case that will protect the screen, go for one like this that covers the unusable black area of the screen.

Fast shipping and good quality as describe. The only reason I give this case a three is because the quality is too slippery for me. If you don't like a slippery case, or don't like to drop your iPod, then don't get this case. The reason I bought this case was for the cute design and the cheap price. Is not a bad case because it will protect the iPod but I would rather get a different case.

Moshi Concerti Hybrid Folio for iPad (Sahara Beige)

Moshi Concerti Hybrid Folio for iPadThis is my second Moshi cover. I found the first one at a specialty Mac store in NYC that doesn't do online sales. When I bought my new iPad, I looked at all the products available here locally and at everything online. I even ordered one that looked good, but I was very disappointed when it arrived, and I actually saw it.

At that point I decided the only way to go was another Moshi case, since I have been so happy with the first one. Amazon had the best price and selection. Nothing else has the feel or texture of the Moshi, and the elastic strap keeps the iPad secure when it is closed. It costs a little more than several others, but it is worth the price. Go with the regular case, however, and not the higer priced one with the strap. That strap is a good idea, but the execution is flawed. It makes it hard to use the case, so you'll just detach it anyway.

I bought this thinking that it is for iPad 2 but when I receive it , I realized is too loose for iPad 2.. Thus b caution when placing order. Part of my mistake for nt checking n verifying before proceeding to order

The rubber holding on to the pad is quite thick .. Nt sure if a iPad 1 is fitted , will the rubber holder obstruct the pressing of the button.

Took more than a week after ordering to received.

The suede like material feels great !

I did not like the covers that only had one side and were magnetic...they did not "protect" the ipad2 from my kid! This one keeps it safe and we love it!

I bought this holder for my new iPad after researching several holders. I prefer a fabric cover over leather, so this one caught my eye. This is a nice alternative to the leather and vinyl options, the color I chose is the tan and is a rich color, no fading or mottling. The feel is very soft and I found that after a few months use it has held up well, no visible wear and tear marks. The stand portion works well. If you're looking at keeping your iPad on the light side bear in mind this holder adds a bit of weight, but on the other hand it serves as good protection. I found that I have to reach under the rubber edge to operate my control buttons as it is a thick rubber and the controls do no react when you press over the rubber. For me, this has not been a great inconvenience, but for some it may be. Overall I have been very happy with this choice.

When I read the specs for this cover, it seemed exactly what I was looking for -the rubber inner case provides the protection of the form-fitting cases while the cover and back outer case protects the screen and allows for angled viewing/typing. Were it not for one shortcoming I would give this product five stars, as it functions wonderfully. However, the faux suede material that the outer case is made of gets quite warm in the hand if you are holding the case for any extended period. After a few minutes, you almost feel like your hands are clammy. I'm not sure if this will be a deal breaker for me and will lead to yet another iPad case purchase, or if I will just learn to live with it -as I said, other than this, the case functions marvelously -but potential buyers should be aware so they can make the judgement call themselves.

PalmOne 3171WW Travel Cable for Tungsten T5

PalmOne 3171WW Travel Cable for Tungsten T5This cable works exactly as I wanted, it has the hot sync button on the connector. I wanted it to be able to sync my Palm T5 down the basement without having to move one of my cables from upstairs every time I wanted to use the Palm down the basement.

I bought this as a spare to travel with and to sync at home. I leave my other cable at work.

Pro:

-Standard USB plug so it doesn't crowd out other plugs in our computer or our 4-port hub

-Built in "sync" button on the end that attaches to the Palm is handy

-Firm connection to the palm

-Good cable length

Con:

-Black connector hard to see, would like a gray or white option

-No cover for the palm connection end, be wary of damaging the exposed pins

Bottom line: recommended.

Kickstand Stand Adjustable Handheld Electronics Holder for Apple Ipad, Iphone and other laptop comp

Kickstand Stand Adjustable Handheld Electronics Holder for Apple Ipad, Iphone and other laptop computer below 12-inchI linked to this product from a previous purchase. The first time I bought it, this product had a black circle instead of a grey one ( and still shows black on my previous order page. ) The difference is more than just color, though. The "new" version is made completely of plastic and is a lot more flimsy than the original. The original ( black circle ) had metal parts, which made it heavier but sturdier. I find it strange that amazon treats them as the same, when they are clearly very different. I recommend waiting/getting the one with the black circle and metal parts instead.

Didn't expect much. Very pleasantly surprised. Good-looking and sturdy item. Very stable too. Use it all the time, not just for my iPad, but also for my netbook (the image does not show this, but the bottom legs actually extend to support larger items as well)

This stand has several advantages:

1) It has a rubber surface to help protect the ipad.

2) Works in portrait and landscape orientation

3) Has adjustable viewing angles

4) One piece design

5) Easy to travel with

I have no issues with this stand. I wish it came with a better quality case, but I guess at this price you can't complain about that to much.

Works perfectly. The only complaint is that is is a bit bulky, but is smaller than some of the other stands. Adjusting the angle is the best feature. The legs that the iPad sits on seem cheap but we will see how they last.

Dell Axim X51v Handheld PDA - Windows Mobile 6.5 - Wifi, Bluetooth

Dell Axim X51v Handheld PDA - Windows Mobile 6.5 - Wifi, BluetoothThe Dell Axim x51v is an outstanding handheld with lots of features.

Its brilliant and extremely clear screen displays photographs and spreadsheets with ease and is large enough to accommodate your favorite movie.

Screen can be used in landscape or portait mode. The processors speed is very good, very responsive and multimedia run smoothly.MS Mobile office has some nice improvements.Alarm clock is wonderful too.

Typical PDA functions calendar, contacts, notes, voice recordings etc. are a snap with Windows Mobile 6.5.

WiFi and Bluetooth are easy to use and well integrated.

It can run for hours with the extended larger battery but the standard small battery is not very good alone.

The PDA itself is nice to use and has plenty of memory available. The dual card slots (SD and CF) are nice. Also the new Window 6.5 can read any size SD/CF card upto 32GB.

Outstanding PDA and Microsoft Office Mobile, Gorgeous Screen.

IMAGE® 2 in 1 Wireless Handheld USB Optical Trackball Mouse - Rechargable

IMAGEĀ® 2 in 1 Wireless Handheld USB Optical Trackball Mouse - RechargableI figured for 30 bucks, it's half the price of my Logitech wireless trackball so I'll give it a shot.

I plugged it into the USB with a wire to its tail to charge it. Ready to go in about half an hour, I left the factory settings intact for sensitivity and speed.

I plugged in the 1/4 in stub usb receiver, removed the cord and it moved the cursor immediately no setup or messing around [Dell laptop]. Now I got a surprise.

Unlike my other wireless trackball, this acts as a regular wireless mouse too. Move it around the desktop and it works great. Keep it stationary and move the trackball and the mouse moves well in this mode too! It also has a scroll wheel which is very helpful and is rotated by the thumb [actually by the joint closest the hand just beyond the first metacarpal.]

Then, I picked it up and used it as a handheld and it was very comfortable. It worked surprisingly well this way but I don't do much gaming and need both hands to type so it sits on the desk.

Now something this weird takes a bit of getting used to. At first I was moving the trackball and the mouse at the same time. It follows both directions but I can't think fast enough to provide two simultaneous sets of directions. I learned to do one or the other and have settled on moving the mouse instead of the trackball in most cases. When the laptop goes to the TV chair, this device is perfect. The USB stub is so small it does not get hung up like a thumb drive may. Also, I go into trackball mode with it sitting on the upholstered arm of my chair.

The one issue I have is that my hands are a little larger than average and the unit is designed for a smaller hand. If I turn my hand up when holding the device with fingers on triggers and thumb on trackball, the device lays across my fingers not touching my palm. The longer I use it, the more comfortable it gets. I realize that I do not have to manhandle it like I do my Logitech trackball. I am sure that women will be much better with this size wise and coordination wise. It is more like a sketch charcoal than a hammer light fingered folks will love it. If you need to grab and grip, this mouse may not be for you.

I have been using it for a while and just realized why I really like this little fellow no batteries required. It has an off/on switch but who really pays attention to that. I leave mine on and will plug it into the usb for 45 min and it's good for another stretch. I hate buying batteries!

I bought this seeking relief from ever-increasing pain in both hands. (My right hand had begun to ache so much I started alternating with my left.) I plugged this in and after making a simple adjustment to the trackball speed and scroll wheel operation everything was fine. I don't know what 9-out-of-10-Doctors would recommend, but I have not any pain in either hand since I started using this mouse. It's easy to use off-surface with either hand and can also be used more conventionally and placed flat on a surface.

tldr:helped hand pain 100%

This may have been unique to me because of the seller that fulfilled the order (BlueMall), but mine arrived in a shoddy unlabeled box basically shoved inside a large envelope and stuffed inside of my mailbox. It had been crushed pretty thoroughly by the time it arrived and they didn't even bother labeling it 'do not crush' on the package. The actual device did not function, as over about 2 feet from the device it would disconnect constantly, which meant I couldn't actually pick it up from my desk to use it in the fashion that it is meant to be used. Of course, many others are saying the device works well, so mine might have been damaged due to improper packaging. I attempted to use it with the USB plugged into my computer, but apparently it will not work while it is plugged in to charge.

When I contacted the seller, they wanted me to call a phone number that I couldn't connect to instead of helping me with email. They didn't offer real assistance until I left negative seller feedback, at which point they gave me a return label to print out so I could return it. Notably that was only offered after I wasn't satisfied with a partial refund. I feel like they would not have assisted me at all had I not left negative feedback, only wanting to convince me to remove it.

Even with packaging and seller issues aside, I did not find this device to be usable as a regular trackball/mouse, it is not comfortable to hold if it is on the desk, so I would not recommend getting it unless you intend to always use it standing. This device just attempts to do too much and ends up only being half-way decent at each thing rather than really good at one.

PDair F41 Black Leather Case for Nokia E7-00

PDair F41 Black Leather Case for Nokia E7-00it took some time (but not more then a week) for this item to come but it came in nice brown box, which already made me feel like it is great product. Case is leather and looks very nice on the phone. Had to put under press to align it perfectly with the phone and now its just perfect!

The product is very well made, has an optimun finish, uses good leather and sofisticated items such as a magnetic cover closing "button". Excellent product.

Well made custom case for Nokia E7. It is nice that the clip can come off for simiple phone protection and place in my purase. However with clip on, careful screw comes lose if frequent usage taking off and clipping back on. I have to check the screw after every other clip on and clips off to make sure it does not drop to the ground as it did happen to me once already. Because it is detachable clip, it does not sit snug to body, but nice that it rotates. I like the case because you can use the camera feature w/out taking out of case and recharge the phone while still in case because of the custom made slots for all the external controls. However, it took me some time to get use to flipping the the cover to use the phone as it is designed like an Ipad casa flip front and not like a traditional phone case that slips in and out. Would buy again.
