RII Mini Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard (Built-in TouchPad/Laser Pointer) - Black

RII Mini Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard - BlackThis is a great little Bluetooth keyboard. As other reviewers have stated it's a little tricky to set up the phone on android (and Windows 7). The instruction booklet that came with the keyboard said there is an "android.apk" to install on Android, this isn't true (they are only drivers for Windows Mobile and Nokia). It's an easy work-around though.

Pairing Android:

1) Turn on the keyboard and long press the bluetooth key on the top left till the indicator light starts blinking

2) Click scan for devices on your Android device

3) Select the newly found Macro Keyboard

4) Enter "0000" as the pairing code on your android

5) Enter "0000" and then the "Enter" key on the keyboard to complete the pairing process.

When pairing with Windows 7 if your Bluetooth drivers create a pairing code automatically for you just enter the code shown in Windows on the keyboard followed by the enter key (or just type whatever pairing code you want in Windows and repeat it on the keyboard).

All-in-all this is a great little keyboard. I would have given it 5 stars if it did actually come with the android drivers and had better documentation.

I'm looking for a driver that will create a visual mouse cursor on my Droid X to make better use of the touchpad. If I find one I'll post it here!

Also, to go back a page in Android hit the Esc key not the Back key... just fyi...

I bought the ProMini wireless keyboard to control my "low tech media center". I say low tech because my media center is just a spare computer hidden in my entertainment center connected to my big screen tv.

For this the wireless keyboard works PERFECTLY! I can watch streaming videos from the internet on the big screen while lying on the couch.

*** Note ***

THE PROMINI BLUETOOTH WIRELESS KEYBOARD COMES WITH A BLUETOOTH ADAPTER.

It doesn't say this in the description or in the documentation. The manual mentions an "optional" bluetooth adapter. It's embedded in the side of the keyboard.

Unfortunately I found it a couple of hours AFTER I ordered the bluetooth adapter recommended to buy with the keyboard. Too late to cancel the order.

***UPDATE: So I've been using this thing for a couple of months now and I really have to say that the range that they are claiming is just a farce. As long as you have a direct line of site and don't cover up the antenna (which is located above the track pad) then you might get 20 feet, but it's very doubt full. you'll start getting a lot of miss-keys and the track pad becomes almost useless. However, this is the only feature that I think was over stated. The rest is absolutely perfect and I just bought another one. Just please don't think that it will work through walls or from more than 10-12 feet. *****

I'm writimg this review usimg my new Rii Mini. First there seems to be a little confusion about the name of this product. the description calls it a ProMini, on the web you will find it referred to as the MagicPro Mini and the box it comes in calls it the Rii Mini. So for the purposes of this review I'm just goimg to refer to it as the Rii.

next, just as a piece of background, i got this for use with my HTPC. my monitor is my 46" plasma in my livingroom and i wanted something that would mean i didnt have juggle my mouse and keayboard around on the couch.

Lets talk about the CONS first, because that list is much shorter.

RANGE: so i found that the "30" feet claim is pretty much bupkiss, but who can see from 30 feet? at a range of about 10-12, the distance from my couch to my TV it works like a dream.

SIZE: this is both a pro and a con. i love how small it is but the placement of the trackpad on the right make typimg very difficult unless you an avid txt'er, which i am, so ive adapted pretty quickly. but its definitely something that could have been better thought out. also, the trackpad is just a shade too small so there's a lot of repositioning. finally, im not proof readimg this review because im illustrating the point that if you're going to be typimg a great deal, you're prolly goimg to end up with som significant typos.

BACK-LIGHT: finally, i have very little bad to say about the backlight. it just needs a timer and most importantly YOUR BACKLIGHT WILL NOT WORK IF YOU ARE OUT OF RANGE OF THE BLUTOOTH RECEIVER... no its not defective, its just made that way. im really glad i figured that out before trying to return it.

Now to the pros.... all i can do is say i really love this thing. the backlight makes it perfect for use in the dark, im kind of a cave dwelling techno nerd so i never have any lights on. the buttons on the keyboard are big enough and resposive enough to accomodate even the largest fingers, my friend "tiny" who is 6'7 was able to use it passably. i love that it works just like a normal keyboard. if you hit alt+F4, it closes windows just like its supposed to and Ctrl+c and +v copy and past just like they should. Alt+Tab works perfectly as well.

the built in media keys seem to work great with VLC, i never use WMP because its the devil. the track pad is actually pretty well made. its a little touchy and does have a built in acceleration. but once you adapt to it, its really pretty nice. you just have to get used to the fact that you're going to be using two hands for a lot of things. the 90 degree flip is kinda neat too. not sure its really usefull unless youre presenting, but its a cute idea.

i love the laser pointer, but then thats because im a cat owner and there is no better cat toy. otherwise i think it would be a feature that most people wont ever use.

set up is really pretty simple. since its bluetooth, its a little more complicated but you just habe to tell windows to do a seach for bluetooth devices when the icon appears in your system try and then mash the bluetooth button on the keyboard so they sync. all-in-all, not real tough.

In shourt i got this because i didnt wanna shell out the $100+ for the diNovo Mini and so far im really happy with it. i would definitely recomend it. the only reason it isnt 5 stars is because my wrist is really startimg to get sore from all this typing. but if your looking for somthing to make your HTPC a lot more fum, this is the business.

This product has instructions on setting it up to work with an android device. After installing the apk you have to activate it. Well the activation didn't work for me and I have found that there are a lot of other people having the same issue. It says to make sure your connected to the internet. I have data and even turned on WIFI. I read a comment that the company ran out of licenses for the software on android. I am going to have to contact the manufacturer to verify. The website at has little information and looks like it was thrown together real fast. This has me worried about support.

In windows 7 the keyboard works ok. It was tricky to get it working and there were some response delays. I love how it's back lit. When using the touch pad the pointer does not move smoothly like it would with a laptop touch pad. Still I find the product useful and do not regret buying it. For a presenter it would be nice to have the device, could easily put in in your pocket and the laser is handy. I think it will be good for my ps3 so long as it works. Haven't tried that yet. After further testing I have found that the range is very short compared to other bluetooth devices. On the Mac the response is much better, but you have to be within about 5 feet, you can go slightly further but then you start seeing problems.

Great product, much better than the one I had for my Treo 750. This cradle has nice weight, a "tacky" base so it doesn't slide around and has worked perfectly. Purchasing a short USB cable would be a good idea if you want to plug the cradle into a USB port on a monitor rather than the computer itself.

BoxWave Dell Axim X51v ClearTouch Anti-Glare Screen Protector (Single Pack)

BoxWave Dell Axim X51v ClearTouch Anti-Glare Screen ProtectorProducts like this one are by far better than those universal screen protectors that you have to cut to the right size! I was a little skeptical about the claims this product made about being the best and reducing glare. I must say I am completely satisfied with its performance! The only drawback to this is there is only one protector in each package, but they can be rinsed to recover the adhesiveness and then re-applied.

After doing research on which screen protector would best suit my needs, I decided on this particular one due to the favorable reviews and reasonable price.

It came in way too much packaging, but I appreciated the small touches that made me feel that this is a higher-end product. There was a lint-removing cloth, a small card to guide application, and of course, very clear and easy to understand instructions.

I actually installed mine in a steamed-up bathroom to minimize dust contamination, but the fact that the adhesive on the protector is actually "renewable" with a little water made me feel a lot more relaxed if ever I messed up the application.

It cuts down glare especially from natural daylight, is extremely resistant to scratches, and does not interfere with stylus sensistivity. And the fact that it is a perfect fit is a huge plus. I am completely satisfied with it and is a good investment to prolong the life of your PDA.

Buy BoxWave Dell Axim X51v ClearTouch Anti-Glare Screen Protector (Single Pack) Now

This is an exceptional screen protector. On the Internet forum AXIMSITE. COM, it is suggested that one install screen protectors in a bathroom steamed up by a running shower in order to minimize dust. This is a good idea. I live in a dusty place and found canned air was inadequate. After what I thought was a clean enough screen surface I was astonished at the amount of dust I trapped. If you fail to rid the process of dust applying this protector, every tiny speck will be visible afterwards, glaring blemishes.

For those people who are worried about getting one shield for this price, that is NO REASON to discount this screen cover. I have used other products with renewable adhesives like this and have always been pleasantly surprised by this technology (wish I would have invented it!). I did not like the way that I put it on the first time so I took it off (try using adhesive tape at an edge--and you may as well remove a nano-thin edge from the bottom to make the installation a little easier). Run water over both the front and back of the screen cover, any dust or lint will go down the drain, then shake off the extra droplets--all but a few on the back. Those little droplets actually make it a little easier to apply, and if I had realized it, I would have done it deliberately the first time. I used one of my SD cards to squeegee it, along with a soft cloth.

Now, a small confession... when I ordered the product I thought that I was ordering the crystal clear screen shield and nearly sent it back. I decided to try the anti-glare screen since I had it in hand, and I hardly notice it is there. The only reason why I really seem to notice it is that I work with a light coming from behind and that produces glare, no end. Now, GLARE GONE.

I will never, ever order the cheaper screen covers. I have used them and removed them. They are just not worth the money for this Axim's beautiful screen.*

*UPDATE ON THIS REVIEW: This was originally written in 2007. By then, I had already been using it for at least a year. It is now the middle of November of 2009. This screen protector is as good on my Dell Axim X51V as the first day it was ever put on. Even I never imagined that it would last this long. I have never had to remove it after the original application, when I removed a speck of dust under running water. I think that this is as good as it gets for screen protectors for a PDA that has seen far more than its share of abuse during all those years.

Want BoxWave Dell Axim X51v ClearTouch Anti-Glare Screen Protector (Single Pack) Discount?

This is a very helpfull screen protector... it really protects the screen from glares and scratches. Its pretty simple, but I had some problems installing it to my Dell Axim x51, since the screen protector is much more bigger than the screen, so you must "force" it in order to make it perfectly fit, or you could also try to cut the screen protector so it could fit without having to use the "brute force".

It does it work, though, for such a cheap price, but sorry I can't give it a 5 stars, since the installation could be a little bit hard because of its size... which could cause the glue it has to get lost and leave bubbles on the corners of the screen, which happened to mine.

Tripp Lite TLP66RCG Eco Surge Protector Green w/ Remote Control 6 Outlet 6ft Cord

Tripp Lite TLP66RCG Eco Surge Protector Green w/ Remote Control 6 Outlet 6ft CordThis works great to help me conserve energy and control my vampire chargers. I use this for my daily electronics usage. I have my phone/tablet chargers plugged into the outlets that are remote controlled and my laptop plugged into the always-on outlet. No more wasteful chargers pulling power when not needed... and no more having to deal with the strip. The little remote stays on my desk and a push of a button turns power on or off as needed. I wish there were more devices like this.

I bought this to power down the little power bricks on my electronics. There's too little space between the outlets to get multiple bricks plugged in next to each other.

Beyond that, the thing works as it is intended to work.

I also have a Belkin remote control power strip. The Belkin has much more space between the outlets, allowing more power bricks to be plugged in, and some next to each other. I also like the remote switch better on the Belkin, switch is styled more like a wall light switch. When I come home and turn it on, it's an easy, thoughtless push of the switch. W/the Tripp Lite, I have to pay little more attention to which button is on and which is off. OK, it's a minor issue, but I'm just mentioning it.

Gino 3 Ports USB 2.0 Hub Combo MS TF SD Card Reader Black

Gino 3 Ports USB 2.0 Hub Combo MS TF SD Card Reader BlackI got this for my Mom for Christmas. She likes that it is 2 things she asked for in one. The main issue she's noted so far is that the cord is only about 2 feed long, so it doesn't make it from the computer to the desktop. I'll update on quality after she's used it some.

This Zio device works well on my iMac. You can see how useful it is from the photo. If you have awkward sized USB devices, this should help.

I decided to take a chance on this and I lost the gamble. USB connection into my computer is very loose, and keeps disconnecting data transfer. Also, it wouldn't recognize/read my phone's micro SD card. Customer service on this item is quick to respond, but returning the thing was going to be way more hassle that it's worth. I'll keep it as an emergency USB hub but will probably never use it again.

IOGEAR Pocket Card Reader Supports Memory stick Pro Duo & Memory Stick Duo Cards (GFR202MSDW6)

IOGEAR Pocket Card Reader Supports Memory stick Pro Duo & Memory Stick Duo CardsMy laptop doesn't have card slot to read my Memory Stick PRO Duo, and it didn't recognize the USB connection to my camera, so this is the perfect fit. The card slides in easy, transfer back and forth is quick, and now I have an alternative storage drive.

The memory stick is a bit tricky to get out as it sticks, but a tweezers helped me along. If they fix the sticking, it deserves 5 stars.

Update: 14MAR08

Now that I've been using the memory stick for about a month, I'm upgrading my review to 5 stars. After a couple of uses, I no longer had the sticking problem. It's nice and small, and super fast. Don't know how I lived without it!

Update: 27MAY08

Three months later and I'm finally getting a second one. One for work and one for home. It's too convenient not to have them in both places...

This is a fantastic product for the price. It's small, about the size of other USB flash drives, and it gives me the flexibility to swap out my two MS Pro Duo cards. I have a 4GB card that I keep in my Sony Ericsson walkman phone, and this reader allows me to transfer music much much faster than the included cable. I keep the other 1GB card in the reader the rest of time and use it as a USB flash drive.

The only complaints I have have to do with the physical ease of use. It can be quite difficult to remove the MS Duo card from the reader becuase the fit is really tight. The only purchase you can get on the card is through the friction between your finger and card, which isn't really enough. This was fixed to some degree when I accidentally bent the reader when it was in my laptop's USB port (I forget it was attached). Also, the cap is almost symmetrical except for a little cutout on one side for the LED status light, meaning you have to put it on the correct way or else it will get stuck and can be quite difficult to remove. So long as you don't have limited manual dexterity, I would highly recommend this product.

I just got this product yesterday. I read the review about the card being kinda tough to remove and mine was like that too. I freaked out because I have a brand new 4gb card in there. But after a little bit of wiggling, I was able to remove the card and now the card is easy to remove.

This is super small (the smallest that I have seen for pro duo card readers) and you can even use this as a usb stick.

I like it! I no longer need to drag my large 6 in 1 card reader especially since I only have a sony digital camera.

yay!

Exporting pics from the Sony Digital camera was way too complicated for this simple but necessary step. The cord supplied uses lots of battery power and for me, it's only use will be the video and audio outputs from recorded MPEGS.

I had another memory stick adaptor, GE's Memory Stick USB but it also was made to accept other memory cards and getting the Memory Stick Duo RAM card took many attempts for a good connection.

The IOGEAR is simple, sleek and the memory stick slides in good and firm. Sony's software recognizes it and loads automatically.

Best solution! I would recommend it highly.

Want IOGEAR Pocket Card Reader Supports Memory stick Pro Duo & Memory Stick Duo Cards (GFR202MSDW6) Discount?

I use two of these devices in conjunction with my SonyEricsson k750i cell phone. It holds a MemoryStickProDuo chip for picture/mp3/flashdrive/etc. memory. I keep one in the car and one in the travel kit. [ I have USB cradles for the phone at home and work for everyday use. ] So, if I load files on the phone (say powerpoint slides) for travel, if I need to, rather than traveling with a USB cable, I can pop the chip out and into this gizmo and I am good to go for accessing them on any machine. Other reviewers talk of poor durability, that the plastic breaks. Maybe, but I don't use it on a day-to-day basis, only a few times as described above. It beats having to plan on, carrying, etc. a USB cable where I am not likely to, or often, need one. So far, mine have not broken and work fine though I can see where, if you were popping the lid off day-in-day out constantly to insert/remove the chip, that it might break. I've noticed that JR stopped carrying it and that the pdf manual has been deleted from the IOGEAR website, so if you think you might need it, you better grab one soon.

This product works as advertised. It makes nice labels, and the back is easy to peal. I just don't feel like the price represents a very good value. I use this with my Epson LabelWorks LW-300 Label Maker (C51CB69010). It is a very nice black on white tape. The backing peels very easily. The tape itself seems to be pretty waterproof. I have used it to put my name on plastic waterbottles, and the tape stays on even after I put the bottles through the dishwasher. This would probably also work well for people who leave their kids in daycare and have to put their name on bottles, tupperware, etc.

The tapes also peel off of must hard surfaces without leaving any residue. I have some file cabinets that I use these on and I can easily pick off the labels (after many months) without leaving any marks whatsoever.

30 feet is a nice length much better than the 9 foot starter cartridge that came with the Label Maker.

I would surmise that Epson uses the printers as a loss-leader to sell these cartridges. Ya know, seeing that the printer, a complex piece of electronics, is $7 more. But what do I know. I suppose such is the case with many printers, doesn't mean I won't complain. 4 Stars only for that reason. AFAIK, the Amazon price is pretty good as I think they generally are more than $20.

These cartridges work really well in my LW-300 printer. You get sharp, clean lettering and symbols for all fonts (which this printer has a TON of). As my sister always says, if you give a man a l labler, EVERYTHING will be labeled. I am no exception.

This is a blue cartridge, purchased only because I didn't want to spend double to get black and any other colors as well.

WWS500 SCANNER BLUETOOTH

WWS500 SCANNER BLUETOOTHI have used this scanner for scanning the UPC codes on beer packages on site in retail accounts. The initial setup was a little difficult. I gave it the ole' college try and had to basically teach myself the ASCII language to program the scanner, which in the end was interesting at the least. I had several questions about the setup so I decided to call Wasp. The experience with the customer support, although friendly, was not very useful. The customer service agent flat out told me "I don't know" to my questions. Defiantly not something you want to hear! If you don't know then who will? In the end I took the initiative and made this scanner do what I needed it to do. I would recommend this product to anyone in the market for one. The battery life is great. It is very light weight and ergonomical. Be prepared for somewhat of a learning curve with ASCII.

This product was essential for our asset management of about 6000 items. It was easy to setup with decent battery life. We generally would recharge after about 4 hours of use, and the charge time was very quick. Sometimes a five minute charge would get us through another hour, with a full charge reached in less than an hour. I did experience some difficulty with some four digit barcodes, but this was easily solved by customer service. The person I spoke to on the phone was very polite and knowledgeable of the product.

Does exactly what I wanted, enter bar codes into Data Base. Works well with poor and smudged codes, good range. Long battery life between recharges. Probably will do a lot more than I require of it.

Update 12/15/2012 Still works and is quite helpful, but;

OFTEN dropps connection with computer. Usually take 15 mins of fiddling with, then all is OK. Not a computer whiz, I have no idea why.

Bought this scanner for our annual school library inventory a little over 2 years ago. From the get go it had a hard time being paired with the laptop. Customer Service was very nice every time I called to get help. They were very willing to troubleshoot and get it working again.

Just went out of its 2 year warranty less a month ago. Now it will not hold a charge nor stay paired with the laptop for more than an hour. Sent it back to WASP at my cost. They were supposed to contact me after looking at it, instead it was sent back without talking to me with a note saying that it tested fine. Today it worked for less than 30 minutes. We will have to buy a new scanner and it will not be a WASP. It was too expensive to have it not working barely 2 years after it was bought when it is only used twice for less than a month at a time.

VuPoint Magic Wand Portable Photo & Document Scanner with Auto-Feed Dock (White) with 16GB Card

VuPoint Magic Wand Portable Photo & Document Scanner with Auto-Feed Dock with 16GB Card & Reader KitIt did everything I expected, and much superior to other similar products I've tried, and had to send back. One caveat, though. I am scanning old photographs for restoration using Photoshop. When a 1200 dpi scan requires maximum blow-up for repair, there are some longitudinal linear artifacts in white or very light areas. Reducing back to normal viewing, they seem to disappear. Occasionally I have a blown-up section I want to extract from an enlarged portion, and the lines make it unsatisfactory. For that 1/2 of 1% of the time, I re-scan on my flat-bed, and the line artifacts are not generated. Certainly, given the speed with which I can now run through hundreds of photos, this is an excellent product.

One other minor item some of these old photos from the 1920's, 30's and 40's have wonderful descriptive comments penned on by the original owners two or three generations back, and for those, I scan both front and back, so I will be able to complete a pictorial history on CD's that I can share with family. When scanning the back of a photo that has a very dark area in the upper left corner, the sensor on the scanner does generate the signal to pull the photo through. It starts with gripping the edge of the photo and then stops. To get around this, I hold a white business card over the sensor window and the pull begins. Have to be careful not to let the business card get too close, though or the card will also be gripped and pulled through, giving you lots of scans of the business card. Little tricky to get it just right, but well worth the trouble to capture those wonderful personal annotations to accompany the photos.

Did a lot of research on this product or ones like it. I like the detachable feature, works very well. I thought I received good value.

rooCASE Tablet Carrying Bag for Acer Iconia Tab W500-BZ467 10.1-Inch Tablet - Classic Series Black

rooCASE Tablet Carrying Bag for Acer Iconia Tab W500-BZ467 10.1-Inch Tablet - Classic Series BlackThis case was absolutely fantastic! the quality of the item surpassed what I thought and then some. The leather on the front of the case is fake, but feels durable and doesn't flake. Its made of a weaved type polyester material that suits the case well. it holds both the keyboard and the tablet, even when the tablet has a case on itself. it also comes with a strap to hold around your shoulder. All of these things feel like they matter and really makes the case shine from others I've used. Its durable, feels nice, and works. I recommend it 100%!!!

Body Glove Black Horizontal Case w/ Clip

Body Glove Black Horizontal Case w/ ClipI do not like the phone cases that rotate, for some reason they always end up upside down on my belt. This one doesn't have that problem, just what I wanted.

It's a snug fit for my Samsung slider. I wanted to use a skin but I can't with this case. For the price though it's well made and nice looking. Don't know how it holds up since I've only had it a few days.

Good hard cover that protects and fits my husband's 3S iphone. Clips on and off his belt easily. Made well and looks good. 1 Con: Do have to take the phone out of the case to charge. I would recommend this product. Great Amazon shipping as usual!

I actually use this as a camera case and find that the adhesive they use to secure the lining, starts coating the cameras display. Doubt I'll buy another one...

My husband has a flip-style cell phone and had tried another maker of this style of cell holder the magnetic clasp was too weak to stay closed. This one fits the bill. He wore out the first one so I surprised him with a replacement. Belt clip-on keeps your cell handy and secure. Highly recommend.

HTC One Case Black PU Leather Flip Cover

HTC One Case Black PU Leather Flip CoverThe case sort of awkwardly hangs during phone calls, unless you flip it backwards and attatch the magnet to the back of it. A disadvantage to this is that you can't use the camera without letting the flip cover hang. But, I have dropped my phone three times and the case has protected it.

Sony VAIO VGN-UX380N Core Solo U1500 1.33GHz 1GB 40GB 4.5" Touchscreen Vista Business Micro PC

Sony VAIO VGN-UX380N Core Solo U1500 1.33GHz 1GB 40GB 4.5' Touchscreen Vista Business Micro PCHello,

I bought my Sony Vaio UX380N back in the beginning of 2008, and I haven't regretted it one bit. Even now, after having it and using it all this time, i still keep finding newer and more exciting ways to use my UX380N. Sony had a real winner on their hands with this model, but they were quite outrageous on the prices of them. If they would have lowered their prices to a more reasonable amount, and maybe have upgraded the RAM to 2Gb instead of just giving up on the UX model idea, they would and could have probably sold them like hot cakes. Everyone that I have talked to and showed my UX380N to really loved it, and they really were interested in purchasing one. But the Sony price of them, along with Sony's decision to discontinue the model rather than make a few upgrades to it and lower the price of it, drove them away from buying one. Sony could have made a killing profit with this model, but their poor business and tech practices, once again, put a damper on their sales.

Personally, I don't know or understand why Sony thinks so much of their cumputers that they raise their prices wayyyy above everyone else that builds computers with the same or better quality, and sells them cheaper, but Sony needs to come down to reality and notice and see that their brand name doesn't have the quality or known-ness as it once had. Sony just needs to come down to reality period. Until then, not too may people will pay their outrageous prices for things that they can just go to other manufacturers and get the same quality mwith a much more reasonable price tag. But still, that doesn't take away the wonderful computer that the UX380N is. If you can find a UX model UMPC at a reasonable price (Maybe @ $799 or less), then I highly recommend that you buy it. You will not regret it. Thanks for reading!!

Bought my UX380N back in 2007, this is an excellent micro-laptop if you travel much. I usually bring two laptops when I travel a bigger 13" or 16" laptop to do serious work and this guy is my entertainment laptop to play video, light games and serve as my BACKUP laptop just in case anything happens to my main machine. In this regard it is perfect I could fit both laptops on my back pack and barely know the UX is there.

To fully appreciate this laptop, you MUST upgrade it to Windows 7 Vista Business is WAY too SLOW. Once you put Windows 7 it is a totally different machine snappy, performs well and is a joy to use. The 1G RAM is sufficient for Windows 7 but not Vista Business. Oh, I did a clean install as well for Windows 7 and loaded all Sony drivers, everything works perfectly, actually much better than under Vista.

The screen is small indeed, the keyboard tiny, but what do you expect it is a micro-laptop, it is supposed to be small. The quality of components is superb the screen is crystal clear, the keyboard slide action is great, can't expect better built quality than this. Never tried out the EDGE modem, but it is too slow to be of any use anyways.

By the way get the extended battery. It makes it slightly heavier but much more practical. I could get 5 hours of light use out of the UX. With the standard battery, it is slightly smaller and lighter, but not practical with only 2.5 hours of juice.

I wish Sony would continue production it is sad to see it discontinued....

I've had a UX-380 for 3+ years, and it hasn't been used much the past year because of newer toys. But the first thing I did when I bought it was to rip out Vista and put in XPpro. Machine surprisingly fast, and is a REAL PC running all my desktop/laptop apps.
