Although this cable lists compatibility with Tungsten W and T, and it will charge a Tungsten C model, it will not sync with C models. This information is buried on the support pages instead of the compatiblity page of the manufacturer's web site. I would have given this 4 stars if they had disclosed this.If it had worked with my palm, I would say that it is very compact and light weight. It is similar in size to a white board marker when reeled in. The cable isn't long at 30 inches, but usually that is enough. Highly recommended as a compact alternative to a cradle.
The plug where the usb connector is attached to the cable looks like it might not last forever cause the cable is so thin and you usually accidentally push on the connection when plugging in the cable. But if you want compact for travel or as a backup to IR this is the choice.
I almost settled on a replacement cradle, but balked at the cost versus the aftermarket alternatives. Eventually I decided to give this one a shot. I'm sure glad I did!
I've been using it daily for a handful of weeks, and it has proven to be very dependable. For whatever reason, the first few times I tried I couldn't get the m130 to sync to my computer; since then, it has worked every time. And it has been a very reliable charger all along.
I try to be very gentle with the cable. The wires are quite thin and fragile, so being careful is very important. In contrast, connecting the m130 to the connector requires a firm, but measured, approach. I have the best luck when I lay both on a flat surface and slide them together, making sure the m130 is firmly seated in the connector. (A very gentle side-to-side rocking motion will confirm whether both sides of the connector mated to the Palm correctly.) Come to think of it, the synchronizing problems I had at first might have been a connection issue; I can't be certain, though.
Overall, I am extremely pleased by my decision to purchase this cable. It fits my needs for reliability and portability. A brilliant gadget!

It is up to the purchaser to determine whether his/her handheld device is compatible with the Zip-Linq.Works perfectly with my Palm m130 using Windows XP Home and Windows 98 with Palm software already installed and running on both computers. Excellent for travel.
The Zip-Linq will not recharge the Palm battery as quickly as the Palm Cradle, and the computer must be turned on in order for the Zip-Linq to charge the Palm through the computer's USB port.
The Zip-Linq is somewhat fragile, so handle it carefully when inserting or removing it from the Palm. Also be gentle when extending or retracting the Zip-Linq cable.
If the purchaser buys the Zip-Linq cable to replace the original Palm cradle, there should be no glitches if he/she has already performed HotSync one or multiple times using the original Palm cradle. It SHOULD be as simple as replacing the original Palm cradle with the Zip-Linq cable.
One reviewer has indicated that his/her Palm data was lost the first time he/she attempted to use HotSync with the Zip-Linq. I'm not sure why this would happen if the Zip-Linq is compatible with the handheld in question, but one could always perform a HotSync with the original Palm cradle before using the Zip-Linq for the first time. Once the user gets comfortable with the device and its functionality, this precautionary measure should be unnecessary with future use of the Zip-Linq.
If the user inserts Zip-Linq into the USB port to run HotSync for the very first time (ie., initial install or reinstall of Palm software), Windows may not be able to read the Zip-Linq through the USB port initially. In the case of Windows XP Home, this writer believes this has nothing to do with the Zip-Linq cradle. Windows XP Home simply needs to find the correct driver from the Palm software in order to run HotSync through the USB port. When the Zip-Linq is inserted in the USB port, Windows XP Home may indicate that it has "Found New Hardware" and then prompt the user to allow the operating system to find the driver that will be used to read the USB port. XP may prompt the user to insert the Palm software CD so that it can find the right driver. This does not mean that Windows XP Home will reinstall the Palm software; it will simply look for the right file to run HotSync. It is a step-by-step procedure (ie., simple). In the case of Windows 98 and first use of HotSync, the operating system may not automatically be able to find the driver. In this case, it would be best to run HotSync on the original Palm Cradle before using the Zip-Linq.

I like the idea that it's retractable but it didn't fix my problem with the hot sync issue I thought I had. I think it's something in my palm but this item is compatable with the Zire 71 and would power it. It's a little bit of a tight squeeze to connect the cable to the palm but it works.

PalmOne III & VII HotSync Cradle
There really isn't too much to say about the cradle. Drop in the Palm, hit the button and it syncs. However, save yourself a few dollars and buy the serial cable instead. It is cheaper, more portable, and most importantly for me, easier to plug into my Palm because I keep it secured in a carrying case.

You can't really say much about this. If you have a Palm, you know exactly what it does and how it works. I just needed one at home and one at work (like everyone else does) so this did the trick. When I bought my Palm III from a friend I found out that he negleted to give me the dock station or anything more than instructions meant for another palm pilot. (I was screwed over) And I want to buy a dock station for my palm pilot. When I got this it was very simple to use. And with a download from I was able to connect my computer to my palm pilot. I love it.

Must admit Amazon was great in the way they handled the matter, they asked me to return the item, and sure enough shortly after a replacement came Boy did we have fun(of course we handled this new one with baby gloves), Did not help, within two weeks the same thing happened again, dead, kaput.
I had to buy another one (this time one that I saw in a store). So I am now on the third one within weeks. Other wise works pretty good (that is, when and while it works)
First two were very easy to go bad, hope I have better luck third time a round.

got this mic along w/ karaoke revolution 3 as a christmas gift. worked awesome. mic picked up my voice even when i was singing really low. we had the static not too long after and had assumed we were singing too close to the mic or that we had set it on sensitive. however on 12/27 (3 days of play), it died. i went to put my son down and when i came back, that was it. no forewarning. nothing. if anyone out there finds a good mic (i've yet to find out w/ usb ps2 compatibility) or headset, please let me know. thanks. other than that, it was fun while it lasted. but mic is a total letdown.Save 50% Off

Believe it or not the "usb sync and charge" cables will NOT charge your axim! I found this out the hard way, by buying a couple ("sync and charge") cables thinking that there must have been a problem with the one I bought. Later, I found out that the electrical current pull required to charge the axim exceeds the USB current rating available from a typical USB port... so you must have a plug-in charger.I bought this product because the dell sync cradle was just too bulky to stash in my travel bag...(and the sync calbles did not charge)... but with this charger (plus the sync cable) its a compact package when travelling.
The charger is very small, well made, has a status indicator light, and the prongs fold back for storage. The thing is a little pricey (I paid $20) but its unlikely you will find anything better suited.

I really like this bag. It fits my samsung chromebook very well. This bag is a great size, not so clunky like a lot of other laptop bags, but with enough space for the essentials. They don't fit when they are in the case, but if I take them out of their case, they fit in the front part of the bag without any problems. I just recieved this case and I must say I am very pleased. All the ports are easily accessible except the microSD cover, and both the front and rear camera are perfectly centered in their respective cutouts. It is very thin, and adds almost no bulk to the tablet, which is good as it was already on the thick side by itself, but it not so thin that you feel the quality of materials has been compromised. The cover is stiff with a hinge for the integrated stand feature. There is no mechanism to lock the cover down, but that is a sacrifice I was willing to make for the thinness of the case. The stand feature works fairly well, it requires a little adjustment each time to make it steady in the more vertical alignment, but once you get it in the right spot, it stays put with only a little give when touching it. The more horizontal alignment is perfect for typing on a desk with the onscreen keyboard. The inside material is soft, very similar to the cleaning cloth which comes with the tablet. The tablet is held in by a small flap of material which folds under and velcros to the inside back of the case. It holds well, but does leave a noticeable bulge where the hook and loop pieces of velcro are stacked on the back side of the case. It is the only issue I have found with the case, but I can't figure another way to retain the tablet safely while maintaining the overall thinness of the case. When closed it is approximately the same thickness as my padded leather folio, and look and feel of the leather is excellent, very high end. If thin is what you want, I don't think you will be disappointed.
LG Holster
This is a great holster that I have used for a long time. The only weakness is in the tab that releases the phone from the holster. It tends to break after using it for awhile. I had the replace two (before I lost my phone and holster). The solution is to simply leave the phone in the holster at all times except when replacing the battery, and use the phone by taking the phone and holster off the belt as a unit.

I do a lot of genealogy work on my ancestors and needed a hand-held scanner to record data in books and family bibles, as well as scan photographs, that I could only have access to on-site. It operates on 2 AA batteries. It comes with a SanDisk 512MB micro SD card, a USB connector for downloading scanned documents to a computer, AABBYY FineReader 9.0 OCR software for your computer (I could not get the AABBYY OCR software to work but you really do not need it to view scanned JPEG and PDF files on your computer. You will need Adobe Reader installed on your computer to read documents scanned in the PDF format), and it comes with straight-forward instructions. It allows you to scan in either JPEG or PDF formats. It allows you set the scan quality at either 300 dpi, 600 dpi or 900 dpi. It is very easy to use. You can view thumbnails of what you scan through a little window on the scanner itself but it is much better to download the scans to your computer for viewing by using the included USB connector or by removing the micro SD card from the scanner, putting it in it's regular size SD card adapter, and inserting it in your computer (assuming you have an SD card slot in the computer or have an SD card reader which can be connected to your computer).When scanning pages from a book I found that it takes a little practice to ensure that you are actually capturing all the words across an entire page. Several initial scan attempts left me missing either the first or last word on a line for a whole page. Practice before you start your first project and if you are scanning something that you may not have access to later then immediately download your scans to your computer and verify you have the entire document.
I would have given this product 5 stars if I could have gotten the included OCR software to work, but you only need this if you want to convert text you scan to another format such as Microsoft Word.

Light, easy to use and quick. If you don't need perfect alignment of the copy, just the information on a page or paper, this works very well. But any jogging or bumps while scanning can shift text and make lines of text print skewed. Also, it does not scan and translate book covers well since it does not recognize artistic script very well. So here I was, with a $20.00 (+s&h!) Gomadic Charger in the mail for a Kindle 1 that no longer existed, and an incompatible (charging adapter wise) Kindle 3 on its way!
I immediately emailed Gomadic Customer Support, explaining the problem and asking how it can be remedied, because otherwise I'd reluctantly have to return the product (they have unconditional 30-day return policy).
To my agreeable surprise, they answered my email within a couple of hours of my sending it to them, and informed me they were sorry to hear of my broken Kindle, and that they had already mailed me the appropriate adapter so I could charge my new Kindle 3, all free of charge.
If that ain't the Rolls-Royce of customer support, I don't know what is.
