Bought this to watch Netflix on my ceiling at night. Very interesting product in that its very cool to see android on a little projector. However, the colors were extremely muted and made the tv watching slightly annoying. Also, I couldn't actually get Netflix app on this version of android so had to use my laptop as the source and just use the projector as a projector instead of a standalone solution. This created lots of wires hanging over my headboard. Just didn't capture the simplicity I was looking for and not worth the expense at this point.

UPDATE 5-28-2013The battery in one of two projectors swelled up and broke the casing and charging port. This happened while the device was plugged in and sleeping (screen off, but OS sleeping just like your phone while it is locked). I found it last night broken apart and dead with a swollen battery and with the power cord somehow and thankfully disconnected.
Pros:
* 800x600 native resolution
* Significantly brighter AND larger image than my old 10 lumens pico projector
* Power, VGA, and USB cables included
* Android 2.1 built in. It runs smoothly, too!
Cons:
* No Play Store, so apps must be sideloaded or otherwise obtained by sources other than an app store.
* Android 2.1 is several years old now and not always supported by newer apps.
* I noticed when using the browser that pages extend about 8 pixels beyond the right and bottom edges of the screen. Not a big deal usually. This suggests a low-level configuration error in the device and I don't think there is anything to be done about it.
Other thoughts:
I have been using a netbook + pico projector as a sort of projection clock at night for years. This is intended to replace that more-complicated setup with something simpler.
I would not have bought this at full price, but I was able to get it via amazon's warehousedeals at about a third the list price, which is a good deal!

I had this cover for a good few months and I really loved it, it was really cute and protected the phone well enough. One of the corner clips broke off right away when I first put it on, but that's common for pantech impact covers. This projector is a great item for watching movies or showing photos to other people. The picture quality is great and the item is very easy to use. The only downside is that the volume of the speaker is very low, however this is easily overcome using a blue tooth speaker. The projector will also get very hot after about 2 hours of use and cause the phone to overheat.

I agree with Jim's June 2009 review of this product. The prices are all over the place and I can't figure out why. I just ordered 2 more @ $6.99 each with free shipping from an Amazon.com vendor. Other prices here are up to $25.00. Why???My pkg also had a $24.99 retailer price tag on the package. Keep your receipt and package insert info. The item's packaging insert says there is a 2 yr. warranty. I have read of issues with the plastic wings and hinges. I assume this would be covered under warranty.
I plan to be gentle with mine and I think it will last. It certainly does the job. I tried a Flipbac and cannot figure out what the value is in that product. If you don't take pictures from low or odd angles, I think it is worthless. And.....since a mirror is involved, all the info on your camera's LCD screen is reversed.....Try reading "turn on flash" backwards.....
This product makes it easier to see my camera's LCD screen in the sun and that's just what I needed !

I have had to replace my Delkin sunscreen 2-3 times, as the little "feet" eventually break off with lots of use--still they are well worth it. I just bought several so I'll have a replacement handy. I had a tough time finding this model at Amazon. It doesn't show up on the list that's presented first, but finally as an "also considered" some pages later. The silver model is being sold up front, with this one in the rear. The prices were all over the place for what looks identical. This was called a "Universal 2.5" shade", but mine was marked "Canon EOS SD". My camera screen is close enough for the sticky parts to find a surface, but a 2.7" would be closer to the actual frame dimensions. This will do the job and seems easy enough to snap off for indoor shooting, but I don't know how many times it will come off without pulling the frame off with it. Another confusion was the prices I found at Amazon. The price tag (apparently store stock) was $24.99 and the price online was $6.99 with free shipping. The problem I had with this trackball mouse is the trackball. It is not consistent. When you move the ball, the cursor sometimes moves, sometimes not. I discovered that you can usually get it working again by clicking the trigger button, but if the trackball stops working while the cursor is over a link, you select the link. Sometimes you have to click the trigger button several times just to move from the top of the page to the bottom. Very frustrating.All the other buttons and the scroll wheel work perfectly, all the time.
I recommend you pass on this trackball mouse. Spend a little more money and buy a better quality unit.

I've been using a wireless keyboard/touchpad combination for a few years now, but I've begun to experience problems in my hand from the touchpad. So onto a different approach.I saw this handheld, trackball mouse and thought it would be the perfect solution to my problem. It would be if it worked.
Like another reviewer mentioned, it only works intermittently; sometimes it works fine, but most of the time it either stops working and has to be reactivated by clicking, or it just doesn't move at all.
The company that makes this really needs to iron out the problems BEFORE they put it on sale.

I almost always read the comments and go with good products. Yet this time I decided to ignore comments and give a try to the product, it clearly was a mistake. the concept is great, to have a wireless trackball in hand, but once there it became a worthless piece of junk, cursor appears and then drifts to the lower left corner and that's that ! won't work anymore. The manufacturer must definitely refine this product and stop wasting scarce resources of our planet in things that do not work. This works good, I like the freedom. Takes a little practice to get use to it. I would recommend this product if you like freedom.

I recommend this accessorie for you Palm M100. It's better than the HotSync Cable since it gives you a place to put your Palm. But I only give it 4 stars since it should have came instead of the HotSync Cable when you buy the Palm M100. I really do not understand why you need to buy the Cradle in the Palm M100, when in the other Palms is not an accessorie. If you have the money and want to have a base station for you Palm M100, then buy it......if not, then I recommend you to stay with the HotSync Cable and save your money for other accessories.

My Palm m100 came with the hot sync cable, which does what it is supposed to do must of the time (it usually takes 3-4 tries to get it to sync with my Palm and PC). This cradle is much easier to use and I wish I didn't have to but it separately. I just stand my Palm in the cradle, press the button and let it work its magic. It is also a great place to keep my Palm without having to worry about it falling off the desk.I would recommend getting this if your Palm doesn't come with one. For me, at least, it has just been much easier to use.
If you have a 'busy' desk like I do, I used a 2-sided adhesive to keep the cradle in place.

So many pockets that are well placed. The outside front has a medium sized zipper pocket that rests on a bigger zipper pocket. The back has a big zipper pocket. Then there's the main zipper pocket. Inside, there's two spaces. One is just a big pocket space, and then the other is a big space with a velcro strap that can snuggly secure something in that space. There's also a small zipper pocket on the back of the inside.I have the new hp Dm1z. It's an 11.6 inch netbook and it fits perfectly in the pocket without the strap. It's a little too tight for the one with the strap, but that doesn't matter because it fits snuggly already, but not to the point of where it starts pushing on the outer zipper. The strap pocket would probably be great for smaller 11 inch and 10 inch netbooks. I use the strap pocket to secure my kindle which also has the kindle cover. Then, on the big pocket in the front I can easily fit my external samsung dvd burner. After all this, the case barely bulges at all. I have yet to put in my netbook charger, but I know it will fit. It will make it bulge a little though.
The point is that I believe this is ten times more useful to you than buying a basic netbook sleeve. You can carry much more things in it, it provides more protection, and it still weighs barely anything. It will look nearly as sleek as a netbook sleeve if you just want to carry your netbook, or you can load with an assortment of supplies. It looks very professional with nice quality to match. Someone said the zippers were flimsy; I don't find that to be the case.
Not much else to say. I've checked numerous stores for cases. All I see are sleeves for netbooks or cases that are too big. This is a nice price for an excellent case.

For Palm Pixi Screen Protector LCD Cover Guard
This screen protector worked well for my Palm Pixi. Take the time to study the instructions and/or video for installing screen protectors. Have some Scotch tape available to remove any dust particles (which cause bubbles)from the adhesive side of the screen protector. You can read or watch a you tube video about that. Even though the Palm Pixi (POS) is grossly underpowered, any screen is worth protecting, even the Pixi's.

I have waited for this to come back for almost 6 months. I knew it is the perfect carry case for my Nook and so I waited till they came back and it did. Just what I expected it. Dell Axim X50v - Handheld - Windows Mobile 2003 SE - 3.7" color TFT ( 480 x 640 )
I've also been using this device for a month and it meets every reasonable expectation. Compared to my old Toshiba 355, it is lightning quick, including ActiveSync connections (the Toshiba took several seconds, but this one connects near instantly), which is nice for quick syncs.I've played DVD movies on it using the format provided by a pocket DVD conversion utility and they run great. Built-in storage isn't huge (80 MB), but considering I didn't even have that option on the Toshiba, it is a great addition.
What is hands-down the best addition to this PPC is the VGA screen. I use the device mainly for scanning through, reading, and storing research papers and books. Using RepliGo (as Adobe doesn't have the sense to release a VGA-compatible Reader), I can read long documents MUCH more comfortably than I ever could on my old PDA and without the mess of paper that comes with printing every one of them off. Not to mention I can pull up old materials for quick reference on-the-fly.
To give you an idea of how you could use the power of this device: I store 400 MB of music on the CF card, 180 MB of documents (including novels, scientific papers, and maps) and a single compressed 256 MB DVD movie on the SD card, and a satisfying ensamble of programs on the Built-In storage (I still have about 50 MB left, which I have been shaving off with hi-definition Today themes).
I use the Main Memory storage to house quick access to SlovoEd's exhaustive dictionary/thesaurus. I very rarely have trouble finding the meaning of a word (and in academia, you run into some doozies) quickly. This increases my speed for assimilating papers and books that use unfamiliar terms.
I use a bluetooth keyboard, so if I need to type something up on the bus, I can initialize the keyboard, start up Pocket Word, place the cursor where I want it, lock the screen input, put the PPC safely in my pocket, and type out my thoughts with the keyboard sitting on my lap. Before, constant bumps in the road imperilled my Toshiba as it rocked back in forth atop its plug-in keyboard. The bluetooth range is considerable so you can even type documents and messages on the PDA from across the room for parlor tricks if you so desire.
As the previous reviewer stated, wireless access is simple to use and works great.

Gosh how much can change in 3 years! This was great for its time but I really wouldn't recommend it anymore. Just get an iPhone! It does everything I mentioned in this review and more. You do have to pay a monthly fee but it is worth it.
Onboard audio is good; no need for an outside program (for the most part if so, go get betaplayer [search google] as its a free program that will play pretty much any media file).
Storage is a bit on the shy side, yet with the dual capability of both SD and CF cards this really isn't a problem.
Wifi works good, I get signals all the time even in places where I probably shouldn't. Some theaters and grocery stores really need to ramp up their wireless security.
The screen is bright and sharp, running one of the true-vga programs makes for a neat change (especially with some of the enhanced calendar programs).
The first of two downsides to this PDA is that old programs that are not compatible with the new hardware yet you are going to run into this with any PDA eventually.
The second is the arguably slow IRDA port. It will work for browsing television but you will not want to replace your remote control with it.
Bluetooth is solid but I really don't recommend it for file transfer; there is a bug (arguable as to which end it is on) that can limit the file size or transfer capability.

I've been using the Dell for about 1 month. I think it's great. It run faster than my old Tungsten t5, and very rarely (only once that I know of) has had to be reset. I haven't lost any data. I like having the ability to change batteries, and it play movies like a dream. I do wish it had the palm style flip cover, and it is a bit of a pain using a card reader to load large files onto an sd card, but the device runs fine.Overall, the x50v is a good PPC. Dual memory slots, a 3.7" VGA screen, and good self-contained audio make it a great solution for people who want to use it for both work and play.Like another reviewer, I have been using my PPC to run encoded movies. I've run small encoded movies (390MB full length movies) and large encoded movies (700+MB). I've had absolutely no problems. The pictures are sharp and clear on the VGA screen, I have witnessed no lagging, and the sound is good. In fact, I've found that it's better to compress the video stream more than the audio stream because the fidelty of the x50v will pick up on sound compression very quickly.
I've never had any trouble transferring files to my x50v. As noted above, I've transferred files well over 700MB, MP3s of all sizes, and I've never lost a file along the way.
Bluetooth and WiFi work as expected and up to expectation. I wish the PDA's onboard software had included more options--such as direct sending of Notes or Tasks to mated cell phones instead of just Contacts.
The biggest downside? Weak battery. I would highly recommend the extended life battery if you want to go more than a few hours without recharging. Also, be aware that you're only getting 64MB of RAM (and you will want to make sure you don't install programs into that memory). The iPaq series sports twice as much RAM. Luckily, the x50v carries another 16MB in graphics processing which seems to help keep it moving.
Overall, I'm happy with the x50v. It's a good platform for PPC games, movies, music, and work applications. If you don't plan on watching movies or playing games, you might want to save the money and get the midline model. But if you want the additional entertainment functions, I would strongly recommend the "v" model.

We like the Dell Axim x50v. It does a lot of work for a device that easily fits in your shirt pocket. It is fairly intuitive when working with Microsoft and similar programs. The only caveat is we lose data. Occassionally we'll need a contact phone number and it's gone. Looking around, usually a whole swath of contacts have been cut, such as 40 people whose last names begin with "P." Oh, they're not gone permanently, they always reappear after a soft re-start but we have had to do this a dozen times in the 5 months we've had it.The screen is clear, the memory sufficient for a huge database of contacts and prospects, and easy to use. Overall, it's a great value.
