512 Mb Memory Upgrade

512 Mb Memory UpgradeMemory works flawlessly on rev5 asa5505. The cost of this memory is far more than third party offerings. However, the guaranteed compatibility and assurance that no boot, reload, or other issues will occur far outweigh the cost.

I received this order in a day or two, installed and worked perfectly in my ASA 5505. Thanks for the service!

I had to upgrade my little ASA 5505 for the newest software updates, so I bought this. It worksit is memory, it works in my ASA. It cost over 100 dollars. FOR 512 MEGS OF RAM. Conversely I bought 16 GIGS of RAM for my computer that is faster and cost less.

You work it out.

The cost is high for the amount of memory provided, but it works. No worrying with RAM compatibility from other vendors.

I needed the additional memory to upgrade the firewall from 8.2(5) to 8.4(2).

I received the Memory 2 days after ordered. Ten minutes from the delivery truck, the memory was installed and I was up and running.

I gave this a 4 instead of a 5 due to Cisco Memory being over priced. Well known but still disappointing.

PDair B41 Black Leather Case for Nokia E6-00

PDair B41 Black Leather Case for Nokia E6-00The one good thing about this product is that it is sturdy and well cushioned so it will protect your phone. The clip is detachable and can swivel, which is good too.

I had some issues with this product.

The case is too bulky for a phone that's small

The clip is too bulky and lets the case hang too far from your waist

The clasps that hold the phone in place were just too stiff and I could not insert/remove the phone easily

The latch, while magnetic, opened too easily when I bumped into stuff

Producto de excelente calidad... Se ve resistente y aunque no lo compre para mi sino para una amiga ella esta bastabte conforme por el producto...

Skinomi TechSkin - Dark Wood Film Shield & Screen Protector for Asus EEE Pad Transformer + Lifetime

Skinomi TechSkin - Dark Wood Film Shield & Screen Protector for Asus EEE Pad Transformer + Lifetime WarrantyThis product is mass produced and does not fit the ASUS Transformer properly. After working with Customer Service a replacement was lost in the US Mail (not sure how anyone knows this tracking USPS First Class Mail? believe it was never sent), a second replacement was sent that had no skin inside just a screen protector, so a third skin was sent out and received and it was exactly the same product with no improvement to the size, no instructions, loose trim pieces stuck all over the packaging and no regard for the issues. Skinomi can do nothing about the product quality and sizing because I believe this piece of junk is mass produced outside the US and not specifically built to anyone's specifications except the manufactuer's. Customer Service is typical meaning they always are sorry but never excepting responsibility for their mistakes and never fully engaging the customer, they are more concerned about bad reviews on Amazon and try to buy good reviews so they can continue to sell inferior prodcuts to the unknowing customers. Amazon is also to blame because reviews are not current and only good reviews are posted. When considering a purchase from Amazon the reviews are of no worth. I suggest people do their due diligence elsewhere and then purchase from Amazon because shipping and the return policies are outstanding.

Great design for the film shield, althought not to proud of for the film at the front aren't use the same size as the transformer.

A nice screen protector, it make the screen looks like not using any screen protector

Sony PEGA-GC10 Game Controller for PEG-NX, NR, T, SJ, SL Series

Sony PEGA-GC10 Game Controller for PEG-NX, NR, T, SJ, SL SeriesThose of you who've played plenty of action/arcade style games on a PDA knows that the PDA buttons simply do not cut it when trying to weave your fighter plane through an onslaught of bullets or trying to make your way through a Super Mario style platformer. What's even worse is that PDA buttons are not built to take the kind of button-abuse that often comes from playing those games and can get worn out fairly quick.

I wanted to play games on my PDA without breaking the buttons so with that in mind, I decided on getting a Clie SJ33 and the GC10. The controller works very well. I've only run across a couple games that does not work well or don't work at all with the game controller and both of them work better (gameplay-wise) with the stylus control. The GC10 is a necessity if you have a Gameboy emulator on your Clie. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase.

The extra battery drain was not as big an issue as reviews from other sights led me to believe. It does drain slightly faster but only very slight and usually when it does drain quickly, it's because you're playing a game that uses a lot of power to begin with (games with lots of action) and because you're using a game controller, you're probably playing it longer too.

The extra strap is almost useless. The instructions say it's to prevent the controller from accidentally falling from PDA but the controller's grip is so good it's much more likely you'll drop the PDA before dropping the controller. The strap is useful for dangling your controller from your belt or backpack so that you can have easy access if you get the urge to play.

I have yet to find a game that supports the X/Y buttons. The instructions says they're "programmable" but I have yet to find a way to get them to work with any game. Not that big a deal since most games don't use that many buttons but it is wasted potential.

The GC10 includes a copy of Columns and some game demos. The Columns gameplay is spot on and gives you something to use the controller with right out of the box. It'll definitely give you the good feeling of using a real game control rather than the cumbersome PDA buttons. :D

Pros: Gamepad button layout, very sturdy, extra buttons for menus and going back to the main PDA screen, hold switch, securely grips your PDA so it's very unlikely to fall off, comes with free game Columns (and it's high-res!).

Cons: Does not work with all games, slightly faster battery drain, cannot charge & use controller at same time, X & Y buttons are useless, does not fit all Clies.

I got this item cheap because I really like the game columns, but once you install the game controller it causes conflicts with your Hot Sync function. I tried several times and this kept occurring. Sorry. Unless you just play a lot of games on your handheld it just isn't worth the hassle of having to reinstall your cradle drivers after you have used the controller.

This is certainly going to help in giving it a second life. I recently purchased this for a dollar and a half BOXED and unopened!! After getting the device, I quickly restored one of my old and beloved Sony Clié's to life -NX80-. After figuring out how to copy the controller's drivers to the PDA (modern Macs are no longer compatible with the Palm Desktop software used to hotsync this kind of devices), I got it running in next to no time.

FYI: I just used an old multi-memory card reader to copy things straight from the Mac to the Memory Stick, then I copied the prc's from the MS into the RAM memory of the Clié.

After that, I perused my old SD and Memory stick cards looking for some old games that I used to spend hours on end playing when I used to be a cell/ PDA-toting kind of guy. Shortly after that, I found myself sharing the good ol' palm with my daughters (aged 3 and 11). It's kind of refreshing to watch them enjoy games that are way much simpler (graphically and technically speaking) than anything on their iPods and iPads today. Also, I found that the little one finds this device a much better platform to draw than using the iPad with a stylus. Guess having a tip really makes a difference!

The controller's build quality is top-notch and works pretty much flawlessly. It even comes with its own plastic box so as to protect it when is not being used and a lace that is used to prevent the controller from falling from the Clié.

If you used to love Palms, had a Clié in working condition and still have access to some of the great games that were made for them, this product a definite MUST-HAVE!

Acer Aspire V3-771G-6485 17.3-Inch Laptop (Midnight Black)

Acer Aspire V3-771G-6485 17.3-Inch LaptopBought this for my mom, despite the fact I hate windows 8.

she loves this laptop, and thanks me every time I go over to their house, I have used it for surfing the web, works very well and is fast. my mom plays flash games < pogo and facebook > and a few lighter games and they don't slow this pc down a bit,

Also, I bought a fan to go under the the laptop, but it doesn't get really hot like the last laptop she had. I would still recommend to ALWAYS have a external fan to set it on though to give it longer life.

I am a huge gamer, and I am actually jealous over this laptop. I know it would play all of my games, on at least low to medium settings with no issues. I wouldn't expect to play bf3 or crysis 3 on high though.

Upgrading to this laptop was a big step from my previous five-year-old one. I wanted my new laptop to be able to play games adequately, and couldn't afford a more expensive laptop. For the price, it's performance is actually better than I expected. I can play the games at want at top quality, with middling FPS (medium quality gets great fps). I use earbuds usually, but the speakers seem ok, with good volume. I was not sure how I was going to like Windows 8, having read that plenty of people are displeased with it, but I actually really enjoy it. Moving and docking windows is smooth and intuitive, and the start menu comes up quickly and due to filling the screen can fit many more programs, making it more efficient for me. Having had it for only little over a month, I can't vouch for it's build quality or longevity, but so far I've enjoyed it.

This is a great laptop for the price I bought it for ($700). It plays almost all my games on high settings. I like the keys spaced out, it has TWO different number pads. Windows 8 isnt that bad I don't know what people complain about. At first it's difficult to navigate, obviously because its NEW but you get used to it. It's just not easy to navigate, not because windows 8 is crap. I've had this laptop for 3 months now and it's been great to me. I played LOL on this on high settings. I have yet to check out the other games. I had 20 tabs open on this and it still worked fast ^_^ I recogmend you delete the norton stuff on it though because its a resource hogger and takes up ALOT of cpu usage for some reason I dont understand o_o. I've done powerpoint projects on this as well as gaming, and this is the best laptop you can get for the price. Especially with the Graphics card (Nvidea Ge Force 730m) and price, as well as the latest i5 third gen processes. This laptop boots up within a min or you can say 20 seconds. It's pretty fast. The webcam isnt THAT bad , and the bulit in microphone is G-r-e-a-t~~ I've oovood and skyped with this as well, and played a bunch of facebook games. I LOVE MY LAPTOP. I go on it for almost 8 hours a day since it's summer for me~ I researched atleast 2 months every single day on EVERY legit site I could, And I found this is the best one for the price. I was obbsessed because I was ripped off by a chinese dealer last time I bought a phone, so I was really skeptical on scared to buy something online, and this laptop has given me hope~ PLEASE BUY IT. You will not regret it. I love my laptop, and I hope you do too :)

I admit it took me a little while to get used to the windows 8 but aside from that this laptop is spectacular! It runs all my games in high settings and they run smooth and look beautiful! It is suprisingly light weight for being as huge as it is! Everything about it functions exactly as it should. The battery life is not super impressive but I didnt expect it to be just because the screen is so large and the graphics are so nice. If you are looking for a bussiness laptop or something SUPER portable then you are in the wrong place, but I would reccoment this laptop to any gamer or person who just wants a really fast and good looking comuter to to daily things at home with (aka: facebook, netflix, ect). Also I will say I was extremely pleased with the sound. The mini Dolby Home Theater sound bar packs quite a punch and has a vaugly surround sound feel to it! Oh and it also might be worth mentioning that the power cord is suprisingly long wich I love because I dont have to hug the wall to stay plugged in, I use my laptop on the couch, from bed and even in the kitchen when following video recipes and I never need an extension cord to stay plugged in! All in all, a fantastic buy, especialy for the price, you arent going to find a better gaming laptop for this cheap!

I have used the laptop heavily and daily since I received it. I've played MMO's such as WoW (including raiding) and Defiance. Runs them smoothly. Good affordable option for the person who cannot afford top of the line. Great value for my dollars.

SimpleTech STI-CF/512 512MB CompactFlash Card

SimpleTech STI-CF/512 512MB CompactFlash CardI noticed several folks that had a bad experience with CF card compatiblity, especially in terms of expected vs actual performance. You should check out the digital storage review section on dpreview.com, where they test the raw read/write speed (using a firewire card interface), the speed in high-end digital SLR type cameras, and representative point-and-shoot digicams.

It turns out that some high-speed CF cards are a poor match for digicams, and will actually perform worse than ones that are appropriately speed-matched to the device. For instance, I've had very good performance with Lexar 12x 128 MB CF cards with my Nikon Coolpix 4500. It comes packed with an 8x Lexar 'starter' card, and test results on dpreview.com with the Coolpix 995, which is very similar bear this out. Faster cards for that camera would be a waste of money, and might not even perform as well.

On the other hand, I've ordered Simpletech 512 MB cards to go with my new Canon EOS Digital Rebel SLR, because if you go to Canon's site and look at their recommended storage media, they sell Simpletech cards. There is a definite reason for this. If you check out dpreview.com, you will see that Simpletech, among others, scored very well when married to such 'pro-sumer' or pro digital SLR's. The Lexar and Sandisk CFs (two very well-known brands) fared poorly, by comparison.

So, if your camera came with a 'starter' card, find out the speed and manufacturer of that card, and buy some more just like it, or maybe a bit faster and more than likely more storage. If your camera didn't include a card, check out the camera maker's web site to see what they sell, or pester them to tell you what they tested the camera with.

Unless you have a camera that shoots RAW photos (if you don't know what that means, you don't have one, and probably don't care), then you should always shoot in JPEG Fine at the highest (or possibly 3:2) resolution. Digital storage is cheap, and life's too short to shoot in 640x480, and wish you hadn't, the one time you want to make an 8x10 enlargement. Once you figure out the average size of JPEG file produced for typical shots, then get a couple of like-manufactured CF cards sized for about two rolls of film (about 64 shots). For the 4 MP Nikon Coolpix 4500, that comes to about a 128 MB card (a far cry from the 16 MB 'starter' card they include). With one card in the camera, and a spare card in your pocket, you are set for a day's worth of shooting (unless you are a button-happy picture-shootin' maniac -in that case, get a battery-operated USB drive with media slots, like the Xs-Drive-II to store your shots on, instead of buying a ton of CF cards).

I'm now back for another 512 MB card. I've had no problems or complaints with the first one in my Digital Rebel. I'm currently using it with a Lexar USB 2.0 Multi-Card Reader, RW018 Rev. B on an ASUS P4B533-E motherboard-based system (has six USB 2.0 ports, and two firewire). Works like a charm, after I found out that you don't need to load the Win2K drivers supplied with the reader, if you have a recent service pack on the system. Otherwise, the two sets of drivers clobber each other.

I bought this CompactFlash card to go with my Canon S50 digital camera. It was a good price and there was a rebate on it too.

This is a Type I card, which means it is SMALLER and thinner than a Type II card, and Type I is the most popular. The card is plenty fast in my Canon and I even heard that the Canon brand card that comes with the camera is made by SimpleTech. I have had zero problems with this card.

Buy SimpleTech STI-CF/512 512MB CompactFlash Card Now

I read the other reviews warning about the unreliability of this product, but decided to take my chances because the price was so low, and because I generally have good luck with consumer electronics. I tend to be pretty careful, and you never know whether some of the other reviewers were just sloppy, or dropped their CF card in the bathtub.

My camera is a PowerShot S45, with which both SimpleTech and Amazon claim the STI-CF/512 is compatible -and it was, for the first one or two hundred shots. (Canon is less helpful, only recommending the IBM 1GB microdrive by name, which I thought was overkill.)

Of course, it failed at about the worst time: while I was on vacation in London, where everything is expensive. I did not lose any of the 31 pictures I had already taken, but attempting to shoot more resulted in the message "CF Card Error". Having been forewarned, I brought a backup card (a SanDisk which has lasted more than two years without a single problem), but that was only 64MB.

Reformatting the card does not help, and it exhibits the same problems plugged directly into my laptop's PC Card slot with an adapter. The card is now practically worthless, and of course, I threw out the packaging after a few weeks of problem-free operation, so I'm stuck with it.

Before you decide to roll the dice and buy this turkey, consider the cost of being stuck far away from home without adequate camera media. Had I to do it all over again, I would buy two SanDisk 256MB cards instead, which would be about the same price.

I purchased this 512Mb card to replace the dinky 32Mb card that came with my Canon A80. I decided on a SimpleTech card for two reasons: it's what Canon sells at their accessories site and, more importantly, it was cheaper than the others.

It works fine. Haven't filled the card entirely yet, but I just snapped about 100 pictures in succession with no problem. It even appears to store images slightly faster than the Canon Flashcard that came with the camera. Looks like about 247 pictures will fit on the card at the camera's highest resolution (4Megapixel, 2272x1704 JPG's in superfine mode).

Want SimpleTech STI-CF/512 512MB CompactFlash Card Discount?

I bought this card for my Canon S400, as it was listed as one of the accessaries for that camera (got lazy that day). We've taken no more than 200 shots when we started getting image slots marked as "incompatible jpeg format" all over.

I went on the SimpleTech webpage. One can't just send an email to them--one has to fill out a form and give out home phone# etc, and the FAQ (which one has to dig for) doesn't seem to have an answer.

I've thrown out the package, so I guess I can't return it. How annoying.

I will never buy another SimpleTech product again.

Sony PEGA-KB11 Compact Keyboard

Sony PEGA-KB11 Compact KeyboardThis keyb is great. With this, and Documents To Go, the handheld is a great laptop replacement handling most wordprocessing and simple spreadsheet applications with ease. The keyb is small, light, and comfortable. The cool factor is very high the way it opens up. And, yes, you do get second glances when sitting in the coffee shop and writing your latest novel. Works really well with the Sony PDAs with 16 Mb ram in them... makes it convenient to store all those documents.

Unfortunately, this item was the victim of disuse. It was excellent, then I upgraded the Clie's software and the smart tablet "forgot" about the keyboard. Despite numerous tries and patches, it was a goner. I soon moved onto a smartphone and the Sony items were mothballed.

The keyboard makes word processing and extensive data base entry much easier. I take this to meetings when I don't feel like hauling along a whole computer.

OtterBox Drybox 3150 Waterproof Case

OtterBox WaterProof Universal Casei bought a smaller otterbox after losing a phone to the lake. I fell in love with that one and got this one then as well. They are awesome rugged boxes to store personal belongings on the beach, fishing, etc. I had to test this also :). i put a piece of paper in it and put it in the lake next to me. I pushed it under water and held it there. The paper was dry as a bone. I even tested the durability. I love it! I recommend this product. Any questions please ask i am always looking for advice so i enjoy giving it when i can as well.

This is a good waterproof box for like campers and hikers but there are some downsides:

1.it's hard to unlatch

2.not very big

3.difficult to put something in it

So if your looking for a waterproof box you should probably get the otterbox 3500

Buy OtterBox Drybox 3150 Waterproof Case Now

This box appears well built with lots of foam padding. The entire inside is lined (glued) with dense, 1/8" foam padding. It comes with three removable foam pads: a 3/8" pad at the base, a 3/8" pad on the top and a 1 3/4" center pad with removable 3/8" squares. They all fit in snug and should provide great protection for any contents that fit.

My only issue is the description of the product dimensions. The box I ordered was the "OtterBox Drybox 3150 Waterproof Case". With the removable foam taken out, MY measurements of the INTERNAL dimensions are as follows

7.5" x 3.5" x 3.25" (L x W x H)

The following dimensions are listed on a sticker on the box:

OtterBox 3000

Internal: 7.64" x 3.72" x 1.23"

External: 8.81" x 5.17" x 2.00"

OtterBox 3250

Internal: 7.58" x 3.64" x 2.22"

External: 8.81" x 5.17" x 3.08"

OtterBox 3500

Internal: 7.55" x 3.60" x 3.32"

External: 8.81" x 5.17" x 4.18"

(Please note the 3150 is not listed here??)

If you have something small that fits these dimensions (e.g., phone, small camera, gps, etc.) and need it to be protected from water and bouncing around...I would definitely recommend this product.

I thought this was going to be bigger than what it was. It couldn't even fit my Nikon 5100... Unfortunately this was just too small for what I originally planned on using it for.

Most of us do not have an unused serial port, so such devices require swapping and rebooting. New to the market are USB IrDA adapters. These work well out of the box and require no swapping or rebooting. The price is a bit higher for now, but I think it's worth it for the increased ease of use.

Using a Samsung Captivate (I) along with the recent Android 2.2 (Froyo) upgrade, I can now get the keyboard to pair and connect. No additional drivers or apps are needed.. Previously I could not get the Mini Bluetooth Keyboard to work under Android 2.1. The Cappy and the keyboard would pair, but not connect. I tried sideloading various bluetooth keyboard drivers without success. The Mini Bluetooth Keyboard is a HID device as shown by Android 2.2 Bluetooth diagnostics. There has been some discussion about Bluetooth HID not being supported by Android 2.1.

It is a very small keyboard as advertised (60x115x10mm, slightly smaller than the Captivate). It is an oversized thumb keyboard with good key travel. The four-way scroll is nice. Using it essentially doubles the viewable screen on the Captivate when keyboarding-not a very strong selling point, but this is true of any external keyboard with any iPhone-like cellphone. However, since the Captivate has video output, one can convert a Samsung Galaxy S phone into a frugal, bareboned travel "nirvana computer" by carrying the mini-keyboard and the right cable to connect the headphone jack to a TV's RCA plugs: keyboard+cables=135 g (5 oz) at a cost of $US20.

Bought for my daughter, she loves it. It holds the tablet decently but I wish it was just a little tighter. Overall, a good purchase.

We've only had this product for a couple weeks but we really like it. We thought our daughter would balk at using a case all the time but she loves it. No reminding to put it in the case when we're on the go. Love that it is protected and can be rotated in the case. Color is fun too!

BUT! It took us a month to get the product. Not happy about that and I would not order from this particular company again unless I had a month to wait for it.
