MoKo(TM) Vertical Flip Detachable Cover Case for Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet / Nook Color, BLACK

I have been through a few returns to Amazon trying to find a case that is minimal, lightweight, and most importantly, supports my Nook Tablet in Vertical/Portrait Orientation for reading.
This case surprised me with its thoughtful design, and I'm keeping it!
Since the Photos in the product description don't do it justice, I will try to explain this thing a little better.
The case can be separated into 2 parts:
Padded Sleeve that fits snugly over the Nook, protects the back, all sides, and pads the frame around the screen. There is a hole in the bottom for easy charging and it's easy to access the memory card slot. Nook is secured snugly by a Velcro tab that tucks in the top. There's a big Velcro patch on the back of the sleeve that attaches to the ...
Rigid, Padded Stand that folds across the bottom and all the way up to protect the screen. This is secured at the top by some light magnets, feels like it won't pop open accidentally but not so strong that I'm worried about my credit cards. In this closed position the Nook is protected completely. When you open the magnetic closure above the Nook's screen, the rigid screen cover becomes a flat surface with 3 ridges to prop your Nook up at different angles. This is the feature I was searching for in other cases, since I use my Nook primarily for reading. If you want to watch a movie you can undo the sturdy Velcro connecting the Stand to the Sleeve, and rotate your Nook, using the stand the same way for Landscape/Sideways Orientation.
The case is made of black fake leather on the outside, and bright orange fake leather on the inside. The orange accents are pretty visible even when the case is closed. It came with a wrist strap too, which I took off right away.
It's lightweight, and does add some thickness to the Nook, but if you detach the Stand and use just the Sleeve, the Nook is slim and protected.
I couldn't be happier with this purchase, and I hope my description helps you make an informed decision!I was really excited to get this case. It looked like the best deal out there. I was a little disappointed when I used it, though. I like that it is a protective case that also serves as a stand for propping up my Nook, and that it works both vertically and horizontally. However, if you are using this case while watching movies or listening to music on the Nook, you have to plug it into larger speakers, because the case completely covers the speaker on the back of the Nook, muffling the sound quite a bit. I had a hard time hearing my music at all with the Nook in the case, and I had it at full volume.
Part of the reason I got this case was so I could prop up the Nook for my son to watch movies, but he can't hear the sound... kind of frustrating :(As some reviewers have already described the product in excellent detail, I'll give you my opinion based on my own experience. I was searching for a cover and stand that would work for my kids' new Nooks. The price point was pefect, since I had to buy two of them and they did not need to be anything especially sleek, just sturdy, lightweight and hardworking. The synthetic leather is of excellent quality. There is no visible glue and the seams are well stitched, I was very impressed with how well it's made. I am confident that they will hold up to the wear of kids under 10 and keep their devices protected. As mentioned by others, the orange accents are visible even when closed, which I think gives it a nice visibility for the kids to keep track of it in their backpacks and also a jazzy look. I also removed the straps, and instead added my own color-coded straps to differentiate the two for each kid. The Velcro is very strong (it's also pretty loud when seperating the stand from the covered device, a consideration for air travel or school use. But a majority of the cases out there with stands also have Velcro, so I would not downgrade the rating for that.) Having the ability to prop up the devices either horizontally or vertically for gaming, reading or watching movies is exactly what I was looking for. Another great feature is that the top flap that is magnetized to protect the screen when closed up actually folds back behind the Nook, so you don't have to seperate the two parts to hold the device in your hands, such as for gaming. This is great for kids: because everything stays together, there is less of a chance of losing the stand part of the case due to having to seperate the stand for handheld use. Altogether, it meets all the criteria I was searching for, and I was impressed with this product.I like the two positions for reading my nook, I can use it either way and with the cover protection, it weighs a lot less than the cover that I got with the nook. This is the third case I've bought for my color nook, and I think it's a keeper! The durability of this case is outstanding. With my toddler taking my "book" to play his games or read his stories, I don't have to worry about him dropping and breaking it. The versatility of the product is even more appealing. That I can turn my nook vertical (for reading) or horizontal (for Angry Birds) is incredibly handy! And I love the stand. I wasn't sure I was going to like this product when purchasing it, but thought I'd try it out. I'm glad that I did. I love it! And it's SF Giants colors too! How can it miss? =)

MoKo(TM) Vertical Flip Leather Cover Case for Amazon Kindle Touch, BLACK

This Moko case does everything it is designed to do really well! I love that I can place my Kindle in front of my on a desk or table, or even on my stomach while laying on my back and not have to constantly hold it. The Kindle is much more protected than with the Amazon case and is held very securely and can't fall out.
It is also great that the part surrounding the Kindle itself can detach from the stand part of the case. This is great for hand holding and makes a much smaller package. The one problem with the design is that the velcro doesn't hold the kindle and the stand together very securely or tightly. I was worried it would come unattached in my bag or something.
On experimenting, I found that the soft backing of the part of the case that the Kindle slips into works as a better "loop" surface for the Velcro "hooks" on the stand part of the case. I removed the velcro "loop" material that was sewn on with a sharp pocket knife (a thread-ripper would work great too) and walla! When I stick the two halves together and press/knead them together a bit, I end up with a much stronger bond between the case and the stand, and doubt it would fall off!
Great case!I just received this item yesterday and I love it! It has enough padding to give the Kindle a little protection when you're traveling or putting it in a bag/purse, but it's not bulky at all. Also, the case has a magnet to keep the cover closed. Also, you can flip the cover back and hold it like that-which is how I read with it. I think this case makes it more comfortable to read with the Kindle because it makes it more like reading a regular book. The color is perfect for me! The color for the online phone is very close to the actual color-though it looks slightly darker in person. The Kindle fits in there perfectly with access to all of the buttons on the Kindle. Also, the cover is really soft and seems durable. The cover does smell, though I think that will go away after a couple days. Overall, I am incredibly impressed with this item. It's a great color, great price, and great quality.

Most cases are just cases. What separates this case from others is that it's also a stand (which you undoubtedly know by now!). However, the fact that it can detach from the stand is an even bigger bonus. Some things I wanted when buying a case:Lightweight
Act as a stand
No color transfer
Durable
Good protection for the Kindle
The Moko case fills all of these qualities in my opinion. When the outer "stand" layer is attached it's not the lightest thing in the world, but that's the beauty of the velcro to remove the "stand" layer. The remaining part keeps the kindle secure in a faux-leather case by use of another velcro strap near the top of the device.
I was a bit concerned about having to take the Kindle out to charge it with this case based on other reviews, but they must have either fixed that problem or the other people had it in upside down or something. There is no issue charging/transferring books to the kindle with the case on.
Color transfer was a problem I saw with some other cases reviewed on Amazon. I've had mine in there a month and a half now and there has been no color transfer to the Kindle yet. I'll update this review if ever that happens.
In regards to the guy who said it fell out of the case while in his bag I'm not sure how that is possible. Maybe he's had it a long time and the velcro is worn down? I feel that my Kindle is securely fastened with this case, both in just the case and with the stand wrapped around it.
I've used this case in both stand and non-stand mode and love it both ways. I've also already accidentally dropped the device with the case on (not with the stand portion) and nothing came of it. I'm happy with the protection, security, weight, and flexibility of this product and would recommend it to anyone with a Kindle touch.

Very pleased with this purchase. I like the vertical flip because I can stand the Kindle up if I'm reading while eating at a table. Was concerned there might be a chemical smell as is sometimes the case with inexpensive leather products, but was pleasantly surprised; only a very mild odor which dispersed within a day. My only complaint is you cannot access the on/off button while the Kindle is closed, but otherwise I love the product and would highly recommend it.Want MoKo(TM) Vertical Flip Leather Cover Case for Amazon Kindle Touch, BLACK Discount?
I was pretty sure I wanted a cover to protect my new "investment" in a Kindle Touch, but looking through the covers on Amazon, elsewhere on the Web, and at a nearby Staples, I was none too pleased with the prices I saw. Come on--$40, $50, $60, $70 bucks or even more for a cover? To me, my new Kindle was not a "fashion accessory," nor needed to be dressed up as one, and I didn't need the cover to be made of the finest leather, or to have a built in light, for that matter; the kinds of prices I was finding were way too much to pay for a cover for an item that had already set me back almost $200 bucks. So, looking through dozens and dozens of covers, I finally found this one. It had several good reviews, it was leather, low in cost, and I liked the added features of the ability to stand the Kindle up at an angle for hands free reading, as well as the Kindle being encased in a leather surround for a little additional security to keep it in place and, if it happened to fall, a little more padding.
I have been very happy with the cover, like and have regularly used the hands free feature, and I like the extra padding. My two complaints are, first, that the outside cover with its little magnetic closure mechanism does not quite fully close in a way to present a neat, rectangular package, and my second complaint is that the cover arrived having a rather strange smell, perhaps from the tanning process? In any case, the smell has mostly dissipated, and I anticipate that it will, over time, likely disappear.
So, given these things, would I order this cover again ? You betcha.

The product is best rated for clarity. Most of the screen guards will be very thick which will cause problem for clarity but this prodcut is thick but has good clarity.
It perfectly fits the screen. One important thing abt screen protector is , the prodcut should not bend when its get shipped. If the product is little bend then it will not properly sit on your screen, Buy it from good seller.I think this shield has been doing an awesome job protecting the screen of my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. I've had it for about a month and it's still going strong. You get three shields in each order, but be sure to read the installation directions because I wasted a shield by incorrectly applying it when I first got them in the mail/

I have used GreatShield in the past and was always happy with the product. This is no different. It fits the screen well and is easy to put on as long as you are in a clean environment. I suggest using the bathroom or kitchen where there is likely to be less dust and pet hair blowing around. I also found that wiping the screen with a damp soft cloth and letting it dry before applying the screen protector helps a lot with static. The product fits my Note 10.1 Perfectly. It is very easy to install and it keeps my screen scratch free. They are worth every penny and i will definitely order more.Alright, well I've done one of these screen protector things for my phone that was a thousand times easier. Writing this review from Samsung galaxy note 10.1, so sentences gonna be a bit non-grammar-y.Followed the instructions. Failed miserably the first time.....had to convert that one to a new phone protector (scissors). Second time, did it much slower and more carefully...pretty good, but dang these are hard to align.I mean, I thought I had the bottom nicely lined up, but even if you're a half a mm off, the edge will have air in it (a solid line of air). A little worried it will gather dust, but I highly doubt it also, its not noticeable...kind of. In the right light, it looks like some water is seeping between the case (thats just how the air looks I guess). If you get any dust during the process, GAME OVER. Little dots of dust are really noticeable when the device is off, as there is an air bubble roughly 3x larger than the spec around them. I'm pretty sure that will happen for any brand of screen protector though just have to be really careful and take your time.
The s pen is not affected in terms of sensitivity...but wow, you can tell the difference in handwriting and using it to swipe for the keyboard. I'm reluctant to use the swipe typing because the screen protector makes it a bit more grippy... feels as if I were sliding a crayon across my screen. Hope there won't be marks. Pressure sensitivity seems to work fine though, barely if any difference.
Ordered, mailed to me in three days or so. Nice and fast, though the shipping wasn't free. Well packaged, but there is a slight dent in all three near Samsung label. Only noticed now, two screens in, so not sure if I can get that replaced. It's barely noticeable, so no complaints.
Pros the color seems...a little different, though not in a bad way. Barely noticeable. Also, fingernails! The screen seems a little more forgiving when my fingernails press the screen rather than the actual skin. Swiping with finger is unaffected. Hands are clean at the moment, so cant comment on oil and whatnot. I cant guess either, as it seems as though oil won't be noticeable, though I'm not sure.
Great product though. I'd definitely buy again over a more expensive brand although I haven't tried them, this protector seems adequate, and I really cant imagine these being better somehow... unless maybe another brand is better for smoother writing. 5/5 stars.
Important note: although swiping with pen is affected, not super noticeable when writing... its there, but it's not terrible. l take a lot of handwritten notes on this, and although its not a smooth glide anymore, I can live with it, Knowing my screen is protected

I don't use it that much, but you won't be let down from description. This case fits the A100 very nicely, and snugly, all cutouts for buttons, jacks & cameras are properly positioned. With the internal Velcro closure, you won't have to worry about the tablet shifting around in the case. It doesn't add much thickness to the tablet...but that also means the materials are thin, so I question if this case will live up to long term abuse. The inner lining is a suede-like material, and while it is very soft, it also picks up dust, lint and finger oils pretty well.
The stand feature is a bit of a nuisance to set up the cover folds back on itself, and you have to fight with prying up a small & very stiff tab on the back side to hold the cover in place. Once that is accomplished, you have to try to 'flatten' out the now folded crease on the cover, to make it sit flat. This does not always remain solid & stable.
As others have pointed out, there is no magnetic or other type of clasp to hold the cover down against the screen when closed, so you do have to pay attention to that easy for it to accidentally flip open on you when putting it in a bag or purse.
For $10 or so, it's a half decent custom fitted case, but I wouldn't pay much more than that (or anywhere close to the list price).Very poor quality, feels and looks very cheap, should be sold a flea markets. I do not recommend this product, very poor for the price.

Pluses:
Works great with the IPAQ 1945; good, clear voice guidance; good maps; good software
Very straightforward, very friendly user interface -light year ahead of my Magellan GPS.
Minuses: It is great so why I gave it only three stars?
The GPS receiving unit is just a small hard plastic device and as slick as a hockey puck on your car's dashboard. I just don't know where to put it without it sliding off into the floor board each time I make a turn. I tucked it between the winshield and the dashboard, but that is not a good place as it can be very hot under the sun.
The so-call bracket for your PCPocket is a joke. There is not a single piece of information on how it should be put together or at least how it should look like assembled. Anyway, after a some trials and errors I managed to put it together and found that it simply does not work on the car's air vent as intended. It simply cannot hold the IPAQ. It is quite frustrated because simple you cannot use this GPS receiver/IPAQ while driving unless you can find a suitable holder for your IPAQ.
For walking/hinking: Unlike other GPS's where the receiver and display is in one unit now you will have to hold two (2) devices in two hands. It simply awkward and not workable while walking/hiking. I even try to hang the GPS receiver around my neck in a clear plastic bag, but it did not work out because the receiver would bounce as I walk and make the display jittery and jumpy.
So here I have, in my opinion, a technical marvel that I really like, but as a practical matter, I cannot 1) use it in my car until I can find or devise a way to safely mount the IPAQ display, and 2) walk/hike with it because it will require two hands to hold both devices!
-------------------------------------------
Additional review after three weeks, with one long trip from Texas to Florida:
Yes, it did give opposite turn instructions a few times. My guess is that, in this case the highway exits were very close to each other and the software's position predictor probably estimated that I already missed an exit/turn and issued the turn around instructions.
Bought a Akron holder for my IPAQ, so that now it can be firmly attached to my windshield at a good viewing angle.
Bought an inexpensive cell phone case, with plastic window for the GPS receiver. This cell phone case, which holds the GPS receiver, can be clipped to my belt and the GPS receiver still can receive good satellite signals.
Found out that it will take a long time to generate and down load a big map such as the entire state of Texas. I suppose this is a function of the PDA -not much I can do about it.
Wish that I can enter known GPS coordinates as destinations. Bummer.
Overall I am a much happier camper now. I jacked it up to 4 stars! This GPS receiver appears to work great with my 4155. I've only used it a few days, but I am very pleased so far. Installation of the software and first connection to the GPS went very smoothly. I like the way that it will start the Bluetooth connection automatically on startup of the software. The maps are from NavTech and seem to be pretty complete. I've found a few mistakes, but they are generally less than the web based mapping programs. Having a power cord that is compatible with my PDA is very helpful as well.
I plan on using this GPS while hiking. GpsDash (app for navigating and tracking with a raster map) works well with this receiver.
As far as negatives, the manual is only available online in the form of a pdf. The kit came with a mounting bracket, but I can't figure out how to use it. The power switch could be a little better constructed also. These negatives are pretty minor overall.I ordered this to replace a Navman unit I used to use with my 3870, however I lost the 3870 and replaced it with a 4155 and this.
The good:
Excellent battery life
Excellent GPS, locks in within a minute with cold start
Bluetooth works great
The unit comes with a power adaptor using the Ipaq connector meaning you only need carry one charger around
The maps appear upto date
Software is intuitive
Routing is quick and auto-rerouting works well
Spoken instructions are particularly good. I often don't use the display
I like the points of interest and the way you can ask for a list and be directed to the nearest gas stations, restaurants etc.
Never locked up
The bad:
Only thing I've found better so far on the Navman was the map display
Generally very impressed! The Hp Gps unit is a good buy, It has its pro's and cons. But overall is a great buy. Don't pay more than $200 for the unit though. Pros: The unit is small and easy to operate, Connects quickly and reliably, software is great and fairly reliable.
Cons: The holder as many have writtin is cheesy and cheap, it rocks when you make corners and requires you to tape a button with double sided tape to the back of your PDA. I would reccomend a different mount and one with a speaker like the ARKON Powered PDA & GPS Mount Kit listed in another review. I would also reccomend using velcro to fasten the gps unit to your dash otherwise it slides around. As far as using the gps for walking, it is a bit of a pain to use unless you put it in a T-shirt pocket, anything thicker than that and it wont recieve a signal.I sewed a velcro strip to my jacket and stick the gps to that. Also I would reccomend having at least a 256 or 516mb memory card in your PDA If you plan on travelling state to state. I put 5 state maps on my pda and it fills my 256mb card. So the more memory you have the farther you can go.I have been using this for a week and am quite pleased with it. I downloaded the maps for CA and the surrounding states (AZ, NV and OR) and they all fit with room to spare in the 256 MB SD card of my 4355. I have used the Magellan several times when I rented from Hertz and I found the interface much much better. The feature that I like the best is that you could set your destination using your Outlook contacts; no need to enter address or street names.
I am giving it 4.5 stars because of an annoying feature of the flashing BT blue light from the 4355 (which is not really the fault of the GPS device)when driving at night but otherwise a really great product.

As other reviewers have noted, it's not great with poor quality print or unorthodox fonts.
Overall, a great product that I use all the time. This sounded like such a great product, I was very excited to order it. Once I got it, I felt like I really got ripped off. The packaging was very cheap, not even sealed, and the pen itself looked like it should have retailed for about $19.99. It completely fell apart yesterday and I had to put it back together. If this is a genuine product, it's really sad. I feel duped for paying almost $100.00 for it. I am in college and thought this would really help me out, but it's almost more pain than it's worth. The red light that goes onto your page when you are scanning is so bright, it fries your eyeballs. Then, the scanning... it just puts in random things and I spend more time fixing it than if I would have just typed it in the first place. I'm sure there are much better scanners out there. Keep looking.....

So, nice computer, works great. Love the SSD...Windows starts in about 5 seconds. I gave it 4 stars due to very basic mother board and no expansion slots.Very impressed the Predator. I'm not using it for gaming but Photoshop and as a house server. The C is a flash drive and just load my programs on it. I still have 50 GB to spare and it loads programs very fast. I use the spin drive to store my movies, music and photos. I also inserted my own 80 GB drive in the expandable drive which just meant pulling out the drive cradle, inserting my new drive, pushing it back in and powering up. One important factor to set up this computer out of the box is that you either need an HDMI or DVI cable as the VGA port is disabled.
Windows 8 is not that difficult either on a PC. I installed a "start Menu" application so it works just like any previous windows version so I can group and categorize my app's.

I spent a lot of time looking at different tower PCs. I looked closely at the iMac but to be honest it is overpriced for what is actually inside the machine. I was very close to ordering a custom PC but then came across the Acer Predator on Amazon. It had everything I was after. A good motherboard, plenty of RAM and harddrive capacity plus geared towards gaming. In addition it comes with SSD memory which I now realise is a real advantage. The only issue I had was learning how to make best use of the SSD vs. harddrive, but it wasn't really a big deal. Now I have all my programs on the SSD and my photos, music, etc. on the harddrive. This makes it very fast and much quicker at start-up after the PC has gone to sleep, etc. The PC is very quiet as the hardrive is used less and the fans don't kick in so much. Graphics are good I run Guild Wars 2 with no problems, plus multi-tasking is no issue either. No comment on Windows 8!

DreSuit Yuppie Series Rotating Case for iPad Mini, Magnetic Wake/Sleep Cover,Full 360 degrees rotat

DreSuit is spot on with their cut-out for the iSight camera as are, by default, the wider lengthy cutouts for the lighting connector, the built-in stereo speakers, lighting port connector, headphone minijack, volume controls, mute switch, etc. The dreSuit affords the sleep/wake function many people love. The interior of this folio is lined with a complimentary light gray microfiber. The insert for the mini iPad is of a hard plastic that offers up a tight, safe fit. The depth of the iPad mini is approximately .28 inch (7.2 mm) and nestles quite nicely in this case. A lengthwise 1/2" wide band slips easily over the case with a quick flip and holds the case tightly shut. If you so desire, when not in use it can be tucked behind a small flap to prevent it from catching on anything.
This dreSuit case is definitely sturdy and it's rigid construction should hold up in the event of an accidental drop. Mind you, there are those freak accidents that do happen, especially of the crush nature, that can and do happen. I'd say this one is as good as it gets in the protection department. Now that I've covered the basics, what about that unique factor that I mentioned? Amazingly the insert rotates 360 degrees. I didn't have to remove the iPad mini or futz with anything. It simply twirls around so I could work in both the portrait or landscape modes in any one of its six positions. How good can it get? When you use this case, you're going to be adding just the right amount of class that your iPad mini deserves. It's excellent and highly recommended.
This case courtesy of the distributor with no expectation of a positive review.(2008 HOLIDAY TEAM)Dresuit has done it again with a pair of really nice iPad mini-cases. They come in either a charcoal grey or a vivid red. But the best part is the little needed features. The case is PU leather with microfiber inside and out. It's easy to clean. Unlike many mini iPad cases, this one comes with an elastic strap that you can wrap around your mini to secure it form opening accidentally. All the ports are accessible.
Plus, the case is designed so that you can rotate the angled viewing positions 360 degrees, allowing for six solid angled viewing positions. The stitching is super heavy-duty and the entire case is solidly built. It is lightweight and strong enough for drops and bumps. Check out other mini iPad cases, including Apple's to compare the quality and price of Dresuit's latest.
Case generously supplied by Dresuit/Sunvalleytek for an honest review.DreSuit has made an inexpensive but modern and thin case that perfectly fits the iPad Mini. It has a hard protective back shell with edges that firmly grip the Mini and still allow access to all ports. This product was generously provided by SunValleyTech for review in the color red and it is a beautiful thing.
This rich color of red stands out in a bold but pleasant way among my multitude of black and grey tech items.
I like the way this lightweight case feels in my hands and the way the swivel cutout in the back shell shows off the Apple symbol on the Mini. The swivel allows for 6 viewing angles in portrait or landscape mode!
I also like the way the interior is made from a layer of microfabric that gently protects the display. Open the cover, and your iPad Mini automatically wakes up ready to work, close the cover and it will shut down to sleep, softly cushioned. Secure it with the elastic binding strap and it won't accidentally open in your purse or backpack.
Overall, this very stylish case seems more expensive than it actually is and is thinner than other PU (non-leather cases) I have owned. The design is top-notch.
Beautiful thing.....indeed.Overall about 3 to 3.5 stars...I rounded down. Reason being that once you've installed your Mini into the case you're facing about double the width and this, for me, kills the point of having a small tablet. The Mini becomes just too bulky with the case. I pretty much knew this when buying the case, but got it for a killer deal so figured I'd get it just to check it out and see if I could live with it.
I've already moved on, got a nice and slimmer RooCase folio case for my Mini. The folio style case is at least 25% slimmer but doesn't do portrait in propped up mode.
If you really want portrait in propped up mode, this is a perfect case for you.
The exterior of the case screams premium and the Mini felt snug inside the case and plastic clip portion.should have been a nice case for my ipad but for some reason one of the corner doesn't sit and doesn't snap on my ipad. my ipad is loose and worried that it might slip out of the case. i just hope that this is an isolated case.
UPDATE: as it turned out, mine was an isolated case as when I contacted them regarding my issue they express mailed me a replacement product that fits well. Now that is what we call Outstanding Service. Jacie (customer service) was so nice and s accommodating and so helpful. I am changing my review to 5 stars *****.
