
Strictly speaking, they aren't loops. They're slits through the back of the case that will take a 1.75" wide belt. It gets a leeetle difficult when the tongue of the belt is double thickness, but it still works. And a case that's so securely on your belt isn't going to be knocked off, the way a clipped case can be. It's a much more secure way to keep your expensive device from hitting the floor, ground, or, even worse, projections on the floor or ground.
