My personal use for this is the shower, put it in a corner where water won't touch it...take it out, charge, rinse and repeat. I had conventional speakers hooked up outside the curtain but the sound was muddied, something that can be murder on low-bitrate podcasts. As a result I have access to my personal library of music and podcasts and as a result, life is somewhat improved.

I wouldn't buy this as a primary listening device, but a wonderfully functional piece for portable use.
