iPazzPort Mini Wireless Handheld Keyboard with IR Remote - Black

I was debating between this model, and the one with the FlyAir (motion detection for moving the mouse). As it ended up they sent me the wrong one and I received the FlyAir one. I tried it out, but the range was horrible. I could barely get more than 3 feet from my computer before it was unusable (the keyboard or the mouse). Within that range it worked well, but I just didn't care for the FlyAir. I contacted the seller and they immediately replaced they keyboard and included a prepaid label and envelope for shipping the other one back (serious kudos to them on the speed and manner in which they addressed the error). I received the new keyboard and it had the same range issue. I took it upstairs and plugged it into my desktop and it worked great, I could even use it 15 feet away in my kitchen! I tried a couple other USB ports on the front of my desktop and when I plugged it into the one USB3.0 port I saw the same results I saw on my HTPC. The receiver for whatever reason works like crap if you plug it into a USB3.0 port. At that point I remembered that all 4 ports on the front of my HTPC are USB3.0. I plugged the receiver into a USB2 port on the back and it works beautifully.

Pros:

Works great, even at a distance of nearly 20'

Keyboard is accurate, and mouse is easy to use.

Cons:

Does *NOT* work with USB3.0

I was going to buy a full size wireless keyboard so I could control my PC on my HDTV in my bedroom. But then I saw this. It will probably replace all my keyboards for my PCs. You just plug it in and it works...no software or drivers needed. It has a lithium-ion rechargeable battery that uses usb to charge. Also the usb charger has a female connector on it, so you don't lose two usb ports. You can connect the usb dongle to the female end of the charging wire to the back (or front) of your PC and never have to disconnect it again (unless you need to use it on another PC or laptop). The touch pad works perfect. I am using it on a 42" 3D LED HDTV and I recommend this to anyone in need of a wireless keyboard for any setup. I like my TV remote so I haven't tried that aspect of it yet...but it seems awfully limiting in that capacity, but this is just an extra bonus on the unit, not a major asset. Also if you buy this for business use it has a laser-pointer on it! A lot of features for an under $30 keyboard.

I like the IPazzPort Mini Keyboard, It's work great, love the size. The TV remote feature is somewhat useful, more capabilities is necessary to be fully useful. Overall, the keyboard is functional for my Streaming TV Box. Good product.

I already own an universal remote but needed a keyboard/mouse for windows commands. I love this as it works great an it is small. It is rechargeable. It has the controls on the back that can be programmed to mimic media center commands. The receiver is behind the TV but I haev no problem with reception. I have had it only a few days and so far it works great.
