Just to be clear I have an old HTC MyTouch 3G, NOT the one with the 3.5mm headphone jack and NOT the 3G Slide.I was a little worried about whether this cover would fit after reading some of the other reviews and the items name on the web page was not entirely correct, (i.e. it shouldn't have G2 in the name). The picture of the cover shown in the ad is for a MyTouch 3G which is what I needed, but more often than not the ad pics are incorrect or generic so you can't go by that. I messaged a couple of other reviewers that said it was the wrong cover for their phone. After reading their responses I concluded that this was most likely the correct cover for my phone and placed my order.
This cover fits perfectly on my MT3G. When you slip it on it snaps into place nice and tight and feels like it won't come off unexpectedly in my pocket like my old cover did. The cover has a kind of rubbery texture on it that gives it a little grip which makes it less likely to be dropped. It is also very durable and still looks almost as good as the day I got it. For less than $4 (free shipping and no tax charged by seller Oriongadgets) I'm happier than a preacher's son in a whore house!
