Ok here is a quick review from N.Y. about this lamp that just came in today. I requested overnight shipping yesterday because I have family coming over and I was nervous because I needed it today for sure before they all showed up because I ordered around 2:30 / 3:00p.m. Friday 10/21/11 I was nervous about it coming in on time BUT it arrived today Sat. at 12:00pm on the dot via FEDEX. So at first I was skeptical because I paid $130.00 years ago when the bulb blew out from an "authorized" Mitsubishi TV repair shop and now I was going after market from Amazon for much less. Well first thing I noticed was that this bulb looked like the same one I bought years ago so I jumped on it right away since the price was cheaper and when I opened the box to replace the lamp the name "Mitsubishi" was Molded on the black case NOT A STICKER. Long story short so far the bulb is working great and booted right up when I installed it so most likely the place I bought it for 130 was getting it from a place like Amazon so never again will I buy from them. (Quick note) I have a WD-62725 and now I know once you replace the lamp YOU MUST !! place the "Bulb Door" back on the T.V. or the TV wont reset and the light will continue to blink (attach everything back on then plug in)

The fit and finish are not great and I had to struggle to make it fit in. To be honest, even the one's from Mitsubishi you may have to fiddle with some. This was the 5th bulb I have replaced and was tired of paying $250.00 from Mitsubishi so a good $ saver!

When my light lamp went out on my 6 y/o Mitsubishi I was dreading the cost and hassle of replacement. It turned out to be just the opposite. This light was relatively cheap and easy to install. The hardest part was figuring out how to reset the lamp warning on the TV, hint: go into the TV main menu.

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is I don't know how long it will last, but so far so good.

This lamp was much more difficult to install than the previous (more expensive) one I replaced; the screw holes didn't quite line up as I expected. The light indicating a problem with the lamp never went off, but I haven't had any problems with the tv shutting off after long durations in the month it has been installed so I really don't know how long this one is going to last.

Ordered this lamp as a stand-by for our DLP TV so we wont have to miss the Holiday games and specials. Was surprised that the lamp came with the case and is ready to go for the price. We will have to wait and see about the performance until we have to install it. Cheapest Place we found for a lamp already in the case.
