I wasn't sure as I never heard of this company. I wanted a hand scanner as I do genealogy and wanted something that I could use to scan pictures/books/documents without the expense of making tons of photo copies.I have just started to use this and so far it is great. I have a 2gb micro sd chip and so far I don't need a bigger one. I have started scanning some of my documents to attach to a family tree file and so far it is very clear and easy to use.
I will see how it does in the long run as I am sure it will cut my costs in half when I do my research.
I have been scanning, filing and editing images since then.. about a month ago.
The device now rests in it's onw cubicle ready to scan for me at the push of a button. Love it!We have just started using this. Though I found the instructions for set up a little confusing, it was actually pretty easy to program. We have employees off site and the ease, handiness and affordability made this a great option for our non-profit.The product works very good, and it is very easy to use.
It is ideal for small scans and when you need portability, not best choice to scan an entire book.This scanner is easy to carry with you because of the size. I use it to scan research materials found at various sites. After a few swipes you learn how to get a consistently good image. Recommend it for anyone needing to do remote capture of documents.
