When I went to install this unit I found the brass retaining nut in the speaker {used to attach the mounting bracket} was loose inside speaker housing.
There is not a visible method of opening the speaker box to remove and reset the nut. Will have to drill out opening and re insert nut.
This will probably effect speaker tone.
Seller had to know of the problem prior to shipping.
Without a doubt, the best sounding bluetooth audio system I've heard. I've rented a few cars that had it built in, and purchased a couple other systems myself, and this beats them all. Occasionally there will be a very light sizzle in the upper frequencies, but it's tolerable, and only occasional. Most other systems trim off low end bass. The bass is full and thick from this system. I am very critical of audio quality, and I would recommend this to anyone. I installed it myself in about 90 minutes, but I'm also very experienced with electronics and DC voltage, and fairly experienced with wiring in cars. Most of that time was finding the right circuits to tap.
