This simple product is what I expected. I haven't dropped it with my laptop or tested it in water, and I don't plan to.
This case has been pretty sturdy and I've been thoroughly impressed with it. I am on board a US Navy ship, and we took a roll big enough to make my computer fall off of the shelf it was on, about 6 feet above the deck, and this case protected it without my netbook breaking in any way. That's all I could ask for.
