Recessed press fit contact (with wire leads, 3/8 inch d, closed loop)

I purchased 4 of these and had issues with 3 of them sticking shut. When these doors are opened they are not triggering my alarm. If I tap the switch it opens. I tested the last two before installing them and found that they too would stick. I used a ohm meeter to test. I am not an expert with these switches but I know a normally open switch should be open when the magnet is not close. To be fair, there may be instructions or common knowledge about how close the magnets should get to the switch. Mine are about 1/4 inch away.

My advice would be to purchase one or two extra and test them before installing them in the frame.
