The Everconn Apple iPad VGA cable adapter is a great product for the price. I've used this several times in meetings at the office and it works like a charm.
I ordered this cable so that I would be able to attach my I Pad to projectors when I do presentations. It was an inexpensive way to ensure that I will always be able to connect, instead of depending on others for technology. I'm happy with my purchase.

While this connector has all the right pins, my iPad 3 will only cooperate with it for less than a minute. I get great picture for about 50 seconds when connecting to a monitor, and then a message cones up saying that this device is not supported by the iPad.

The cable packaging was for a dock connector to HDMI and the packaging wasn't sealed. However, the actual product in the packaging WAS what I ordered and it does work very well with both my iPad 3 and iPhone 4 (both with iOS 6.1.2). Also, it was shipped fast. As far as durability, only time will tell. It 'seems' like it should hold up for a while.
