Just recieved my Roo zippered leather case for my new ipad mini and I absolutely LOVE it. The mini fits perfectly in the inside case, and I love the fact that it is completely enclosed by the zippered outer case when not in use. The color is great and the workmanship of the product is superb. You will not go wrong in ordering this product, and it is wonderful to have a stylus which matches the case.. Very stylish, great workmanship, and protective of the mini.
One of the biggest perks about this is that the ipad is removable. If you dont want to use the iPad with a huge leather portfolio attached to it, simply detach the iPad. I cant tell you how useful this has been.
Plus, free stylus pen. And thats neat.
A couple of minor problems with the case:
1. The case cover is slightly misaligned, which makes it hard to touch items on the left side of the ipad's screen. Its not too bad, and all I have to do is move the leather away when I want to touch it there but it is still a nuisance sometimes.
2. The zipper can get stuck if the case is opened all the way. Again, easily fixable, just one more thing to consider for those who care.
3. When you get the item, it will smell strongly of chemicals for a few weeks. The smell has subsided by now, so its not permanent.
Overall, I would recommend this. The pros outweigh the minor cons. I am glad I bought this one and not the others I was considering!The thing I like the most is being able to pull my iPad out of case and still have a cover to protect it. The reason I don't rate it higher is because the outer cover, with the zipper, is too stiff. I would like a softer, more flexible cover, easier yo zip up. But it is good protection.I purchased this product because I wanted a zipped case for my ipad mini. The case was nice and zippered but too hard and thick, I was expecting softer and thinner. Otherwise, I like the product, the inside is very nice, I like having a slot to put some other things inside.
