This works great to charge my DS, I've used it via my computer's USB port and through my Apple MA592LL/A iPod USB Power Adapter. It's nice not having to carry around so many chargers. And the apple charger is a multi-voltage, where as the charger that came with my DS is US-only.One note, this cable is for charging _only_, it does not allow you to do anything but charge through USB.
