VuPoint PDS-ST415PK-VP Magic Wand Hand Scanner - Pink

I bought this my wife so she could scan her recipes and she loves it. It does take some practice especially with books but you can do it. I set her up with the magic wand, a laptop, and a thumb drive and she set off setting up her library. The tough part is not being able to see how the scan took but with some practice it ends up being simple. The wand came with a thin vinyl case but it seems adequate. If you need to do a lot of scanning and don't want to have to sit and run the pages through a desk top scanner, this is the way to go. Keep in mind you do need to provide your own micro SD card.

I got this scanner to use in my genealogy research.Now I can go to relative's homes and scan their family pics without having to take them to a store. I love it. It's so handy and easy to use.Great little scanner.

I purchased this scanner to be able to make digital copies of my husband's family photos that were in old photo albums that couldn't really be taken apart. It takes a little while to get the speed right and to figure out how to keep it straight. Overall, I'd say it does a good job. The quality of scans is ok, not great. I'd buy it again.

This is an ideal product. However some refinements are required. The scanner scans only till rolling pads keep rolling. This leads to undesirable cropping of pages. Has long battery life.
