At first it seemed to not be that great. Wait about 1-2 days. After the screen sets, it's much better. The surface smooths out, the texture on the screen becomes more familiar. I think the glass on the Asus Tablet is amazing, so anything that covers it up will take some getting used to.
Overall, I'd buy this again if ever needed.
Thanks for the good product!Came slightly damaged and not at all what I expected. Unlike other screen protectors this was rigid. Seems to be one reason others have reported it being delivered with damage. The product is nice and thick, which provides good protection, however you can not get all the air bubbles out. I have removed and redone it several times and it just will not lay totally flat. I cleaned the screen etc and it still does not get all the air bubbles out.I can't believe that this item is perfectly fitted to the screen of our ASUS Pad. We have been looking around for the same kind or type of screen protectors for awhile and most of them at the local stores were selling for enormous amount...like $30 plus....So, when I found this one here for less than $3 and free shipping, I could not passed the chance. It has a sticky side after peeling off the thin plastic protector....so it easily sticks on the screen. You might see air bubbles but let them sit there and just gently massages them out...Eventually, these bubble will go away.i'd like to use this review to tribute goodwill suggestions to the seller and at the same time, to let other potential amazon.com's customers know that this seller actually really cares about their customers and they do read the feedback from their customers and take them seriously. this attitude is what i love to see, especially some of the sellers on amazon.com seem lack of such disappearing good attitude.
here are the suggestions:
please check the item before shipping. see if there is(are) damages already originated from the manufacturer/supplier's packing process.
a plastic sheet is like a piece of paper, it's thin and fragile, so it's very easy to get chinks when inserted it into an envelope-like container.
please also suggest the manufacturer to change the opening of the thick paper container to the wide side, thus the plastic screen protector sheet would easier to be inserted, avoid any possible chink damage during such process. to make the opening on the narrow side of the container would only make the insert process more difficult since the depth will be longer, the opening narrower, they'd cause inevitable chink damages.
ask the manufacturer/supplier why they have to pre-cut 2 holes on top of the screen protector for eeeTF instead of 1? since the pad only got one camera at the center top.
tell the manufacturer/supplier the dimensions they cut the plastic sheet are not accurate, the length is shorter, so there would be a tiny gap when apply the plastic screen either on the left or on the right, thus, the pre-cut hole for the camera will not be right on the center location.
ask the manufacturer/supplier to remove the tiny piece of the pre-cut part of the punched camera round piece before packing. pre-cut 1 (actually 2) two round circles but not cleaned them up and force the customers to do the cleaning might cause further unnecessary damages to the plastic sheet. the round pieces are so small, so what kind of tool they have to find at home to take up or pop out them?
ask them to use thicker container to hold the item. (well, this might be just a wishful thinking)
as for the seller, my suggestions are:
TRY NOT TO SHIP THIS ITEM BY USPS.
why? because this item in a big yellow envelope will come together with lot of different sized mails, junk mails, ads...etc, mixed together during the shipping/delivery process, the big yellow envelop will be ended up bended or wrapped around with other smaller mails and jammed into the small space of a mailbox. more damages would be caused.
besides, USPS usually not quite care about what they ship or deliver. the damage ratios of the shipped boxes, containers, or anything larger are quite high. in other words, USPS doesn't care about anything, they just deliver. their trucks only stop at the mailbox, all the mails, no matter what sizes, they just try their best to jam all of mailed materials into the smaller mailbox opening and space. fragile stuff often got damages by such forceful jammed push.
SHIP VIA UPS, because they usually only have merchandise to deliver, no junk mail. and they often deliver to the front doors instead of mailbox. UPS freight rate maybe a bit higher, but you can always share the cost with your customers. they'd be more appreciated to have a perfect item to be delivered.
get a large "FRAGILE ITEM INSIDE! PLEASE DO NOT FOLD!" stamp(seal?) and print it on both sides of the large envelop. this warning might reduce more possible damages during the shipping process.
FINALLY, if the seller could guarantee there would be a perfect newly improved and corrected screen protector for us, i'd like to buy it without any hesitation, because this seller is quite trustworthy and reliabe; because they care!
