Dell Axim X51 416MHz PDA w/3.5 Touchscreen

I was looking for a PDA to organize my daily tasks, shift work, notes and contacts. After doing several searches on the internet, reviews, and compare prices and quality products, I chose the Dell Axim X51. This unit offers everything you need to stay organized,it has bluetooth technology plus you can connect to the internet. Despite being a refurbished unit, upon receipt I thought, "truly is a refurbished one?" This unit was basically new, as brought from the factory. In addition, the seller (Guaranteed Tech) provides a fast and quality service. I definitely recommend the Dell Axim X51.

This PDA has been great in every way. Long battery life, easy to read and use screen, fast wireless capability. The buttons on the device are in the exact right place for ease of use. There is a compact flash slot that i have attached devices to, like a bar code scanner for inventory.

I would highly recommend this product for people wanting to be productive, organized, and mobile.

trouble syncing, trouble with battery door, trouble with battery life. you name it, the problem haunts the axim x51. Look in online forums you will find them all.

I bought this item refurbished for my husband. He didn't want a lot of bells and whistles, really just something to keep track of contacts and calendar appointments, etc. He loved his old phone that had Windows Mobile 5 on it, so he could use this PDA right away. We did have to download the new Windows Mobile Device Center on our laptop so that ActiveSync would work, and I used the server trick that I found on that stops ActiveSync from constantly running in the background. Other than that we haven't run across any problems so far.

sad to say that the only thing we use the PDA for is to play solitare and bubble buster. Being a PDA it is easy to hold and play the games and it doesnot interfere with the phones when we need to use them.
