It did not say whether it had a hot sync button on the connector end, but I bought it anyhow, and found it was very easy to use with my recently purchased used Zire71. I did have to set up one of my physical buttons on the Zire so hotsyncing would come up on the Palm, then I just a tap the hot sync on the screen and it takes care of the job. It does the job.
