Unlocked Huawei E586E 3G GSM HSPA+ 21 Mbps Mobile Broadband Router Hot Spot

I've used an older version of this little router (E853) and it has been a lifesaver on all overseas trips. I am yet to find a network that it does not support. I tested out my new E586E and it's just as good when it comes to functionality and it seems to work faster. I like the look of an all black device too. A few notes that I wished that someone had told me before: T-Mobile in USA will not work on any speed above G2/EDGE, so it's painstakingly slow. No issues with T-Mobile overseas. Also, if you have a grandfathered AT&T, unlimited plan, your SIM will not work. It's not the Huawei's fault AT&T is blocking it. Neither issue is a deal breaker for me, since the main purpose of the router is to be used overseas.

i had a bit of problem initially, but it was my fault with the settings part, but the dealer were quite helpful, they helped mw throught out the settings etc till the problem was solved. The device too is good.

In the US, it works adequately, but not internationally. I get 2G at best, which is useless for my IT requirements. This may reflect more on the systems of other countries than the device itself, however. I have spoken to others with the same opinion on any of these devices.

This is a pretty slick little device, but tried Claro and Movistar 3g without success. Connects 2g EDGE, but that is way too slow. Had high hopes as both of these companies sell other Huawei devices. Movistar in another country sold this very device at one time. Part of the gamble of trying new devices here I guess. Will try it in the states when I get back.
