The charger that came with my Macbook Pro never worked properly. It would charge, but I had to fiddle with it a bit to get it to work. It even fits the Mac extension cord, which was a big concern for me because I needed the extra cord length. It worked perfectly right out of the box and I didn't have to fiddle with it! I purchased this cord to replace the original cord that came with my 2009 MacBook Pro. The original cord finally broke after 3years of use. The replacement cord fits perfectly and is working very well after about a week. It cost a fraction of what a replacement cord would have cost on the Apple site. So far I have no complaints.

The cord isn't as long as I would have liked it to be considerably shorter than OEM but it does work well. I just have to make space adjustments.

i bought this and its out lasted both yes BOTH of my actual apple brand chargers and saved me a boat load of moola! im so pleased! i was sooo worried to but after reading bad review but i figured ok hell at 1/3 the retail price of the real thing...its worth a shot! im glad i did!

Let's start with the first use of the adapter. I connect it to my Macbook, then for some reason (maybe I had to move my laptop), I disconnected the MagSafe connector... AND THE MAGNET STAYED CONNECTED TO THE COMPUTER WHILE THE REST OF THE ADAPTER WIRE PULLED LOOSE!!!! Oh, and as a nice aside, as I'm posting the review for this device, the Review screen shows the company as "pay4save Inc.", but when I have clicked on the link for the product TWICE in the past hour, the "ships and sold by" company has been alternately listed as "save4pay" and "leavo." Can someone say FLY BY NIGHT? Amazon needs to weed out these guys, ASAP.
