I can use my wifi while Im in the car, allows using while you are charging it, excellent product really.

Bought the 12 volt adapter and installed it on a switch in the upper shelf in the bedroom. Flip it on in the morning and with the 12 volt allows the MIFI to operate continuously. We have continuous wifi while we're underway or in a campground. Works great!
