These have crashed my windows machines more than once, and more than one machine. They work really well with Linux and the Minicom program.

OK so I kind of expected it, but was hoping for otherwise. This cable comes with no drivers, and there isn't a real website for them. You have to install some aftermarket drivers made for another cable to get this to work, but it was cheap...
