It was for my wife's Nook Color and provides good protection and a bit of style. Has a place for holding notes/biz cards and a pen or stylus. It does need to be opened (tab for desk stand) or the speaker is muffled, and with the BN speaker already being bad, that isn't good. However, one advantage to this is that it then acts as a way to bounce sound back to you, which can be a plus.
I have bought several cases for my Nook looking for the right one. I wanted something with a stand that didn't make the Nook that much heavier. This is light weight, well designed and great quality.

I just got my JAVOedge case today, i got the orange one. I love it and it looks just like the picture and my nook color fits perfect in it. I am happy that i basically never have to take the nook out at all. I was not sure about the vertical opening flap but i prefer that, my main worry was finding a cheap case that was cute, fit snugly on my nook and protect it from scratches if i put it in my school bag or purse, i think this one does the trick. I actually love how the material feels especially the swayed on the inside. If you don't want to spend 30+ on a nook case and want one that isn't plain looking and protects, this one is perfect it doesn't look cheap at all. I will most likely order from JAVOedge again if i need to.
