As great as the iPAQ pocket-pc is, it consumes a significant amount of battery when used with card phones or GPS accessories. While traveling in my car, the power ran out and I was unable to use the GPS. Now, with the new adapter, I can use it anywhere, anytime. This is a must have for all power users of the iPAQ.
When the battery runs down while in the car ... I listen to mp3s as my car radio doesn't work and the music is better with ear phones anyway ... you are just stuck with a dead iPAC until you can get it to the cradle ... unless you have this really useful charger stored in the glove compartment. Just plug one end into the cigarette lighter and the other end to the iPAC and you are back in business again, whether listening to music or just needing the iPAC fully charged for that important appointment. A great accessory!
