Motorola 56320 2-Way Radio Earpiece with Boom Microphone
I use a Motorola Talkabout T6400 in whats called an "Airsoft Game", much like paintball, but with a military simulation twist. Anyway, communication is a very important thing, thus we all use two-way radios. Holding the radio and carrying it in my hand just was not an option, as I use an airsoft gun that takes up two hands. I bought the T6400 with a clip and all, but needed a headset. I saw many products outthere, some ranging from $20-100. I was tight on money, so I decided to go with this particular item. On to the field testing and use..
After doing some prelimenary tests to adjust my volume and whatnot, I got out in a game. My teammates said they could hear me loud and clear, almost too loud they said, haha. I could hear them perfectly as well. However, the ear piece that hooks onto your earlobe would occasionally fall off, now I have a small ear which was probably the problem.
The VOX feature that I can use on my two-way works pretty well using this headset. It will pick up your voice almost everytime within a tenth of a second, and agian, transmit everything 'loud and clear'. Be careful when whispering those things other people aren't supposed to hear ;) it will pick up EVERYTHING. Whoopsies....
I would highly recommened this item for any type of "irregular" use. As far as using it in the car, or however else, I do not think it would be my first choice because of the bulkiness, etc.
The clarity is an A+, the price is an A+, the receiving earpiece gets an A, and the ear piece itself, well a "B" for falling off my ear.

My wife and I purchased this product to use when bicycling with Motorola T5950s. This was our first experience with mic/earphone combinations, and we've been very pleased with it. The sound is very clear and easy to understand and we've had no trouble with the device staying on our ears--even though my ears are much larger than my wife's! We've also found them to be quite comfortable--even after two hours we haven't noticed any discomfort. The only negative we've noticed is that there is a 1/2 second or so delay before the VOX (voice activated transmission) kicks in, so we have to start each transmission with an "Aaaa..." before we speak to activate it. That's a function of the radio's VOX, though, and not a problem with the mic/earphone!! My buddy and I use the Motorola 56320 earpiece & boom microphone several times over the past year. We use them in conjunction with Motorola VOX capable walkie talkies. They are fairly comfortable and work as advertised.We do have one small complaint. You wouldn't think so but I could argue that the cheap 10 cent microphone windscreen is this product's most important component.
I found this out the hardway. The windscreen is not secured to the microphone by any adhesive. Over time the fit gets loose, and it keeps falling off. When this happens it is only a matter of time before you lose it. We use ours to comunicate while bike riding. Without a windscreen, the mike constantly keeps openning and closing, regardless of sensitivity settings.
Trying to buy replacement windscreens is near impossible. We searched high and low, and could not find anything afordable. We settled on a piece of a replacement foam cushion. It worked, however it makes us look like dorks! We finally caved and bought new headsets.
So do yourself a favor, before you use the Motorola 56320, take a minute and secure the windscreen to the mike with electrical tape or adhesive. If you don't you'll be kicking yourself after you lose it and recall this prediction!

I purchased this with MJ270R, the quality of the headset is good, and it holds its place in my ear, and even inside a motorcycle helmet.The important note is:
Do not plug the headset when the radio is on. If you do that, then the radio immediately starts transmitting and does not stop no matter what you do until the head set is unplugged.
To use the headset, turn off the radio, plug in the headset, open the radio. When you do that it goes into VOX mode, it will start transmitting in about one second of your speaking. If you press PTT button, the VOX will be cancelled, and if you want to enable VOX again just turn off and on the radio.

NEC Mobile Pro 900
I really wanted a more powerful Jornada 720 which is sort of the claim that NEC puts on this product. They keyboard is pretty good and some parts of the design like the placement of the CF slot and the PC Card are perfect. However, this is not exactly a small form factor like the Jornada it is about the size of a Fujitsu P1120 or a Avertec P. Weight wise it is about .5lb from the the P1120 and 2lbs from the Avertec. A good part is that it does have the ability to instantly turn on but the screen is terrible. In fact probably the worst screen of any PDA / Laptop I have seen. It is all washed out. I wanted this so that I could throw it in a Gym bag and if needed instantly turn it on and trade stocks through a TMobile Aircard. I found that the syncing with ActiveSync 3.7 was terrible, sometimes it would work other times it would fail on WinNT2000K and with XP Pro it was a nightmare. Part of the NEC 900 that is rotten is the OS. THe HPC 2000 is just plain buggy. The AirCard software would die while it works on a PDA and over 6 laptops and tablets. Pros:

Bottom line for the price it isn't too bad if you want something light to type on or run excel spreadsheets that will last 8 hours. They keyboard is awesome so if you have large fingers and need an ultra portable this is ok if you can get around the screen.
People need to actually give HPC devices an honest chance, and with the right expectations. They will not be disappointed!with good features for an IT department. Your mileage may vary, but it is not really suitable for consumer use. Yes, the keyboard is surpisingly good, the screen sharp, the time to load screaming fast, and it has a good suite of features. On the other hand, for this very experienced user, it took an inordinate amount of time to get it to synchronize with the desktop or connect to AT&T Worldnet. Once connected, however, I couldn't get the unit to resolve domain names (i.e., I couldn't actually connect to the world wide web). The straw, however, was that two programs would not terminate, and NEC support confirmed that my only alternative was to remove the batteries and do a hard reset. It's a shame, and my experience may not be typical, but you're warned--don't try this at home.

I bought a used NEC Mobile Pro 900 to use as a digital typewriter to take with me to coffeehouses while I work on my novel with my writing group. While it can access the wifi in the coffeehouse with a gold orinoco card, I find that the wifi is too slow for anything but the most basic use. Finding items that are compatible with the antique software and hardware has been a challenge. It will only accept a CF card up to 8 gigs. I use a transcend 512meg CF I card with it and find that it works the best for transferring my text in and out of the word processor to my desktop. I also have a 1 gig CF card that I use to flash it with software. Mainly, I use the software that came with it, a thesaurus and a word count program that I found for free on the internet.However, despite the negatives of this old machine, it has proven to be a good writing instrument. It is instant on/off, is smaller than most netbooks on the market and has a rugged construction. While the keyboard is not full sized, it is large enough to type on comfortably. The battery life is much better than modern netbooks, I can get a good eight hours on a fully charged battery. The touch screen and stylus took a little getting used to as compared to a mouse, but I find that after a while it was just as easy to use. I like the infra-red transfer feature. I also own an alphasmart and the infra-red works between the two. I can also hook up the alphasmart via USB connection and the NEC will recognize it as a keyboard.
If you buy a NEC Mobile Pro 900, you need to be aware of the compatibility issues, but otherwise it is a nice little machine and I can recommend it as an inexpensive distraction free writing device.

This unit runs Windows CE operating system by Microsoft. Great built-in apps (Office, Excel, Access, Power Point, etc.). The keyboard is a bit cramped for speed typing.This is my least favorite PDA device (I also have the IBM-Z50, HP Jornada 680 and 728 models, Casio E-125). The NEC 900 was built mainly to be used in industrial settings. The screen is dull and somewhat washed-out.
I only take this unit with me to job-sites in high-crime areas, so if I lose it, I won't care that much!
Still ... It's better than a PDA with no keyboard. The screen is OK when indoors. There is a lot of Windows CE software out there (on the Internet) for free. Good for the kiddies doing their homework on the run.
Better units are the Jornada 680,728 series light, small and good screen,
and the IBM Z50 its almost full-size keyboard and great IBM support.
miBook Healthy Cooking
I received the healthy cooking as a gift from my husband and use it all the time. It's fun. I have a 5 yr old granddaughter who loves cooking so I got the cooking for kids and I'm so enjoying using mibook with her. The child in the video is darling. Sony Clie PEG-TG50 Handheld
The best thing that I can say about this product is that when my original one was stolen, I immediately replaced it with another of the same model, even though newer ones (like the high-end UX-50) had become available.I bought this one because it was the smallest & lightest PDA available with a keyboard. After 4 years of struggling with Graffitti, it took me roughly 30 minutes to adapt to the admittedly tiny keyboard on the TG50. I found that I could two-thumb data using the keyboard far faster, and I've never used Graffitti again.
The two most important considerations with this model are the size and the keypad. Graffitti junkies should avoid this model, but I suspect that I'm not the only person who finds the Palm OS handwriting recognition technology is troublesome. Likewise, those who want a really big screen for watching movies should get a different PDA. Personally, I like carrying it in my jacket pocket, and find the lid to be convenient and not the least awkward. The metal case is sturdy & scratch-resistant, and for me, it would be silly to put this PDA into a carrying case. Its a tool to use on a daily basis, and I'm not taking heroic measures to avoid scratching it.
Battery life is a bit disappointing, and I recommend purchasing the battery adaptor which allows you to recharge the internal battery using 4 AA cells. I have no reason to believe that battery life is any worse than competing units, though.
I already have memory stick devices, so this is a convenient media for me. I'm using a 512Mb stick without problem. Although earlier Sony laptops cannot be upgraded to read these larger sticks, its easy to put MP3s and other data onto the memory stick by using the Import/Export utils. This is a very useful capability in which a TG50 in the cradle can function as a removable drive in Windows.
Its a bit disappointing that only 11Meg of internal memory is available, but in practice, this hasn't proven a problem. Most 3rd party apps support add-on memory. I've put all my BDict foreign language dictionaries on my memory stick, for instance. Those with a large number of applications can even store & run the apps from the memory stick, as long as they use a third party launcher, like SilverScreen.
Speaking of MP3, the player is a bit vanilla, but does a fine job of playing music. Ironically, Sony's proprietary ATRAC3 format is not supported by the Memory Stick Pro standard necessary for 256Mb and larger memory sticks. After experimenting with ATRAC3, I never use it any more, ripping my CDs to MP3 instead. I'm not sure why you'd want to view movies on a dinky little screen like this, but the movie player does work. Its very practical to use a Sony camcorder to store an MPEG on a memory stick and play it back on the PDA. Ripping DVDs is a lot more complex (look to one of the Clie discussion boards for suggestions on how to do it), and I don't have the patience or desire to do it, but I have downloaded and watched about 40 minutes of video, just to prove it could be done.
The jog-dial and backup button on the side of the PDA are quite useful, allowing simple left-hand operation of all the built-in applications and many 3rd party applications. Although the jog-dial was useless on laptops, its perfectly suited to PDA use. When talking on the phone, for instance, I can pull my PDA out of my pocket, flip open the lid, and review my schedule and contact info with my free hand.
Speaking of phones, I do not have a Bluetooth mobile, but I've tested this, and it does connect to the Nokia, so I have every reason to believe that it would integrate well with mobile phones.
I do use Bluetooth to synch with my laptop, which works very well. Its nice being able to travel without needing a synch cable. Also, the TG50 can receive files sent by other Bluetooth devices. It only recognises .VCF and .TXT, asking your permission to store the received object in either an address book entry or memo. An inexpensive 3rd party utility called ReceiveIT will let you add support for additional file extensions, so you could accept JPGs and .DOCs, storing them in the memory stick, if you like.
PicselViewer will let you view either of those types of files. The screen is small for viewing full-sized documents, but in a pinch, you can scroll around and read the whole thing. Its kind of handy sometimes to be able to view PDFs, Word docs, and graphics.
The built-in applications for manipulating bit maps seem pretty weak, and I'm not interested in doing that on my handheld. You can setup a slide show, and given how cheap memory sticks are, its perfectly practical to carry around slide shows showing your family, your vacation, whatever.
The ability to store voice memos was appealing to me, and I do sometimes 'jot down' ideas verbally when it isn't convenient to use the keypad. I have accidentally left the voice recorder running a couple times, but I've trained myself to always leave the Power button in the 'hold' position, so it isn't a big problem.
Although the built-in applications are decent, I'd already been using some 3rd party apps on my Handspring, so I put the latest versions of them on my Sony. All of the following work fine with the Sony, supporting the jog-dial, color, and the high-res screen mode. I launch them one-handed using the row of 4 application buttons across the top of the keypad. Datebook5 for calendar and todos, KeyContact for contact list, and WordSmith for memos and larger documents.
I'm totally pleased with this PDA. Its fast, convenient, attractive, and sturdy. It fits my needs perfectly.
1. Palm OS5, 200 MHz CPU and the built-in keyboard. (Though the keyboard is a bit stiff, I find it prevents me from entering wrong letters.) The size of a notepad (It's 2 7/8 x 5 x 0.5)
2. Voice Recording with Built-in Microphone. One click to start recording and the quality is so SONY.
3. Browsing the web without paying an extra bill. Using Bluetooth enables me to connect to my cell phone (T68i which has built-in modem) and to dialup to Earthlink to get the internet access anywhere in the US. Getting my Earthlink account setup on the Palm and receiving the emails is also effortless.
4. Awesome color display. I can read the web page content without zooming in and scrolling left and right, even in 320 x 320 screen. I don't feel the screen is small at all.
5. MP3 player has three levels of BASS and you can create a playlist. The sound quality is really great and the device has a built-in speaker as well.
6. It¡¦s a TV and VCR remote. Setting up the remote is an ease.
7. Long battery Life. I tried 5 days without charging and it's still going. Also, you can save the battery life when you listen to MP3 by shutting down the screen. (Just switch to HOLD)
CON:
1. Most of the apps haven't been developed for this model yet. Ex: I installed the Document-to-Go that came with PEG-T615C but the text got all smashed together.
2. Little built-in memory. I need to make changes to my Memory Stick when I installed new programs on it.
Conclusion:
This device is designed for users who want to have internet access. Although the speed of the internet access can not be compared to Wi-fi connection, the dial-up speed through cell phone isn't unbearable. Besides, when you have a Wi-fi connection, don't you have a computer close by most the time. On top of which, I could save that extra money for the Wi-fi service for getting a faster connection. All I need is to read some news articles and to receive emails.
Personally, I think this is the best PDA out there. I¡¦ve seen many models and been waiting for this device for a long time; I want a device that is thin and light in my pocket. Having the same size of a 3 x 5 x 0.5 inches notepad, I know I made a right decision. When SONY named it 'Personal Entertainment Organizer', they are absolute right. I really have a lot of fun with this device and yet stay organized.

Don't get me wrong. This is a wonderful PDA as you would expect from Sony. It's just very confusing at first. Remember when you were first introduced to MS Word. You were glad that it could do everything but were frustrated trying to figure out how. Likewise for this PDA. Sony's approach to OS5 breaks from tradition causing the user to have to find all the essentials( info, delete, copy, screen brightness etc.). It's all there. You just have to page through the manual to find it. And that's just the beginning. Count on being joined at the hip with the instructions for at least the first couple of weeks.There are two accessories that are a must have with this unita memory stick and a case. You should be aware that this unit is advertised with 16mb of ram. Not so. You only get 11mb. I don't know why. Since this unit has state of the art audio and video (once you figure out how to use it) you will need a memory stick of at least 64mb with 128mb a better choice. You will also need a case.
There is a case made ONLY for this model. It is Sony Pega CA62. It comes in 3 colorsblack, brown and red. ... The case is not leather (polyurethane) but is well made and fits the TG50 like a glove. It really is very nice and worth the price.
Finally, this unit is rather large and heavy. I would not recommend putting it in a shirt pocket no matter how deep. You are tempting fate for losing it. If you want a killer PDA that does everything for a great price then you should consider this unit. Just don't lose the instructions.

I have only had this PDA for a week and I love it. The color screen is gorgeous. My previous PDA was a trusty Palm IIIx, that had lasted forever, but now I wonder how I survived without a color screen.It was very simple to get it synched with my Outlook (Exchange Server) using the software that Sony provided. The new "Launcher" menu system that Sony has created for Palm OS 5 has made it so that you can navigate to all the applications with just one hand, no need to fumble with the stylus to open the mp3 player.
Just be sure you purchase a memory stick (try Lexar rather than Sony), otherwise you can't use the mp3 player.
So, if you are looking to spend less than $400 on a PDA this is the one to get.

I bought the TG-50 about a month ago after having my handspring visor for 3 years. I loved the functionality of the palm os and hoped 5.0 would remain simple. Although most of the OS usability survives it does as much as the windows pocket pc. It plays movies beautifully and is easy to convert (if its a file format that the sony convertion software likes, dont like divx for instance) and loading mp3s are pretty easy and sound great. The screen is bright and easy to read and the keyboard is actually faster than graffitti so I rarely even use the stylus. I was disappointed documents to go was not included as this is geared toward the business user whats up with that? What good is being able to view it with their packaged viewer if you cant edit on the road (doesnt replace my laptop unless I buy Doc to go)pros: Great screen; great price...; FAST 200mhz processor; nice materials, good multimedia capability; easly to sinc up with Windows XP; and Palm 5.0 OS
cons: stylus pops out the bottom pretty easily; no SD slot; no Compact Flash slot; One of the few Clies that doesnt come with Documents to Go; low basic memory (buy a 128K mem stick at least with the clie); the great world clock and calculator prepackaged with older OS no longer avail on 5.0
I would have given 5 stars if it had SD or Compact Flash and slightly better software package.

I purchased this case for my wife's Dell Venue Pro and the case fits extremely well and looks awesome. It's a very premium fit and finish. Unfortunately, after I gave the phone and case to my wife she started complaining about how difficult to use the phone was with the case on it. The flap gets in the way all the time and dangles and annoys her which in turn meant that she annoyed me! I *really* wanted to like everything about this case but I have to say that overall it fails because it is troublesome to use and doesn't fully protect the phone like I would expect. In addition, because of the thickness of the case and how close it is to the micro usb port, the charger rarely stayed in properly.The bottom line is that I think the idea was great and the materiels are definately premium, but it becomes difficult to recommend this case because of the negatives.

I had my doubts about this when I bought it, but it's turned out to be very useful.It fits over the psp like a glove (and it doesn't scratch the psp!) and after about three months all the scratches that could have ruined my PSP were evident, so it obviously works.
Pros:
1. Slim; so it doesn't look ridiculous.
2. Little door in the back makes it so you don't have to take the whole case off to load a game in the cartridge.
3. It covers the screen!
Cons:
1. The latch that keeps the door in the back closed broke on one side after a while, but it still closes.
2. It truly does take damage, which is the whole point, but I'm sure in four more months I'll have to buy a new one.

I have had this case for over a year, and recently brought a second one. The first one has "bumps" but has protected my PSP in my bag, falling out of my pocket onto concrete, and from day to day wear. Bought the green case for wife's white 4s. The green is close to the beautiful apple green. Here are the Pros and Cons:Pros:
1. Although it is a slim case, the build is very sturdy and not flimsy at all;
2. The surface is smooth but not slippery;
3. Left side opening is wide enough for both 4s and 4 (including GSM and CDMA versions);
4. Snap on the iPhone closely and leaves no gap.
5. Great service: contacted the seller because the first one I got has a minor defect, received the second one a few days later which is of a new version with free screen protectors and perfect.
Cons:
None I can think of.

The front is lower than the screen protector, which you can feel the edges when touching the phone. In another words, does not overlap the edges of the clear sticker that protects the screen.
I don't recommend it. Get the speck or if you want the better protection without caring about bulkiness, get the otter case.
The company stands behind its product and after I bought this one they contacted me to make sure I was happy and offer to exchange the product or refund.This case will not stay on my iPhone. Before this, I used an Incase Snap Case, which fit perfectly and never let go of the iPhone. This case feels more like a malleable sleeve rather than a hard plastic case. It looks good, but there's no satisfying snap when you fit it to the phone, and if you lay it face down and press in the middle of the case, the phone starts falling out and easily hits the table (if you're looking for a case that protects the front and back).
I upped my review one star as Justcase's support has been pretty great. They sent me an updated version that fits the iPhone 4s better, but still doesn't protect the screen in any way. Granted the new version includes a couple screen protectors, but I much prefer the lip that extends slightly above the screen placing a screen protector across the entire screen (personal preference)The Green version looks great on the white iPhone 4S and fits perfectly. I would have liked for the case to create a small lip around the front of the phone so that the screen wouldn't touch when placed or dropped face down. I guess the screen protectors will help some.
Still satisfied with the case, and my wife loves the color.This is a slim case which covers the back and sides. Port holes are fully accessible and there is a cut out for the apple logo on back. I like the fact that it has a soft feel to it which makes it easier to grip. I had a casemate which was the same style of case, but it was a smooth slippery finish and I was always worried that it was going to slip out of my hands.
The case came as advertised and the color (blue) was spot on. If you are looking for a slim case, this is a great pick. I intend on getting more colors as I like to switch my case often.
Update....2 days later...I just noticed the corners of the case are dirty. I tried to wipe it off, but does not come clean. You have to order the side rails seperately but it's worth it. I have an Xperia Play but don't like it as a phone, too big. My bb 8130 is like that goon romneys MI trees, just the right size, lol. Look up the procedure on youtube and you got it. May have to reuse the double sided adhesive from clear faceplate. I've had to use a leather belt holster for this phone and didn't like it. I hate listening to other's cell phone ring tones, so I to avoid annoying others I keep mine on vibrate. With the leather holster, the vibrate isn't strong enough to be felt many times. With this I have no problems. I've always been able to find the plastic holsters for my previous phones, but had to wait two years to finally find one for this one. This holster is great. If I had to pick something I didn't like about it I'd have to say it has the ability to swivel which I don't care for, although I'm sure many others do like. Compaq iPAQ 3650 Color Pocket PC
I've had my IPAQ for several months now and am extremely satisfied with it. Over that time I've learned a few things that might be helpful to to other users, so rather than write another general review, I thought I would post a few suggestions on this, especially for those that may be making the transition from the Palm platform to the iPAQ, (as I did).The iPAQ saves individual Notes that you make in the sub-directory where you create them in the Notes app area. This results in them initially having a name such as "Work1, Work2, etc. (i.e., if you have a Note directory called Work). This is not very helpful so you have to rename them by doing a "tap and hold" on the file name, and giving it the new name. Otherwise you end of with lots of Notes with non-descript names with numbers at the end. Not too helpful.
For better power management, watch the screen brightness setting which you set from the Settings menu. You can also hit the "Q" button and pop up the Q menu and get to it from there. A lot of times you can reduce the backlight setting and save power and extend battery life. Otherwise running it at the highest intensity you'll only have about 3 hours. Also, in direct sunlight, where the iPAQ works great but the Palm and Casio units wash out totally, you can set it on "power save" mode
If you use the digital recorder function, be careful what you have the settings here. The iPAQ will record anywhere from 8,000 Hz, Mono, 2KB/sec, to 44,100 Hz, 16-bit, stereo, 172 KB/sec. You'll find that even the 22,050 Hz, stereo settings will cause even short notes to take up 300K of space. After a few of these you're out of memory and you'll wonder why. The default setting of 8-bit mono is okay so I just leave it there.
This setting is also hard to find and can be found under Settings\Personal\Input\Options.
I've found my iPAQ to be the best of the Pocket PCs out there. Hope these suggestions help.
Price: Cassiopeia E-115 and Jornada 548 are both ~ $600 (if you go for the 16 M RAM, the price drops, but I don't recommend it). iPAQs are cheaper at ~ $500.
Processors: Cassiopeia (MIPS) and Jornada (SH3) processors are about the same speed (131 MHz) but Cassiopeia is a 64 bit processor. iPAQ has a StrongArm processor running at 206 MHz and noticeably faster.
Expandability: Cassiopeia comes with a Type II Compact Flash slot. This means you can put any compact flash cards out there, including the snazzy 1 inch IBM-microdrives that store upto 340 MB of data. Jornada comes with a Type I slot which means it cannot accomodate type II cards or the IBM-drive. iPAQ needs to add an expansion "jacket" to allow any cards. It is an innovative design that allows the main unit to be smaller but you have to carry more components if you want to lug around more data or music.
Display: Only Cassiopeia has a true 16 bit display (65000 colors). iPAQ and Jornada are both 12 bit (1000 colors). Can you make out the difference mostly not, unless you are looking at photographs.
Size: Cassiopeia is bulky and comes in at 9 oz. It does not have a hard top so it needs to be carried in a soft case that comes along. Jornada unit is about as bulky as Cassiopeia, but it comes with a hard top so the total package (unit and case) is definitely less bulky. iPAQ wins hands down with a Palm like form factor.
Bottom Line: If you need dislay, multimedia capabilities and expandability buy a Cassiopeia. Looking for a sleeker option with decent built-in expansion options buy a Jornada. You need speed and sleek look not farther than an iPAQ (remeber you need a separate jacket at times).

The H3630 model is sent to direct re-salers (i.e. Best Buy, Circuit City, Comp USA, etc), and the H3650 is sent to the online retailers. However, I've noticed on-line that you will see both. NOTICE: The IPAQ does not support "Open Host Control" USB.To check this out right click mycomputer->properties->Device Manager, then look under the USB icon.
If you have that kind of USB you will not be able to sync with the IPAQ through usb. I have been syncing with a serial since and it is terrible. It takes approximately 30 min. to sync an mp3, and at least 20 min. to sync avantgo. If you have an open host controller USB I would not advise getting the IPAQ.
Overall, I have to say that I am very happy with my IPAQ since I can sync at work with a USB.
I have owned the palm IIIc and the Handspring Prism. First the Prism, simply, not worth the money. The only advantage of the prism over the IIIc is the expansion port but the components are so expensive that it isn't worth it. So given the choice I would choose the IIIc over the prism. The screens for all intents and purposes are equal and you will not be able to tell the difference most of the time. My primary reason for getting the IPAQ over any palm type device would be the unit's speaker. I purchased all of my pda's to make sure that I am on schedule but the palm type devices don't have a loud enough speaker to warn me of a meeting. The IPAQ is loud, extremely loud. I also found the palm type devices to be somewhat limiting. In approximately one day you will know the entire machine and you will also know that, that is about all you can do with it. However, on the other had the IPAQ is way more complicated to use and to set up but I feel that if there is something unique that I need to do it will be able to do it.
Before buying the IPAQ I read many reviews and many of them said that Compaq's service was terrible. I must say that I do not agree. As a matter of fact I found there service to be A++ and the operators to be extremely polite and patient.
Also DO NOT buy this unit to play mp3's. It will be maxed out in about 4 standard mp3's because the IPAQ allocates part of it's memory for running programs so in reality you only have about 14 mgs of space to work with for your files. Also don't plan on upgrading the memory for the ipaq since the 64 meg cards cost $310 + $50 (prices from Compaq) for the expansion jacket.
One more note about the available software. There is not as much available software for the IPAQ (or any other PocketPc) as for the Palm devices. So if you want to do something highly specialized plan on spending more money after you get your pocketpc.
I know that I gave alot of cons and little if any pros, eventhough I said I was happy with my unit. I did this primarly because when you are spending [this much] on anything, the cons are way more important.

I've had the Palm V for about a year before I was able to buy this Ipaq 3650. The Ipaq is really awesome! Compared to the Palm V, here are some of the positive and negative sides:Positive:
-This beats the Palm in almost every way possible. Clear and bright screen that is perfectly viewable in sunlight. Not to mention that it's also crisp color as well. The brightness is totally adjustable and there's even a sensor that you can set so it will automatically adjust the brightness accordingly. Very cool.
-The hotsync speed blows away the Palm. What's also very nice is that it can dynamically sync with your Outlook mail, contacts, calendar, notes, etc. If you have the Ipaq already connected in the cradle and you're sorting and deleting your email on your desktop, the Ipaq will instaneously synchronize every delete/add that you make on your desktop. With the Palm, you have to press the hotsync button everytime or schedule a hotsync. With the Ipaq, you just plug it in and forget about it.
-The integrated Windows Media Player is awesome. It's basically an integrated Mp3 player that can play any mp3. You now have music on the go and plus you can plug in headphones to your Ipaq, and listen to your music at work.
-You can also record with the built-in microphone your voice or voice reminders
-Everything with Outlook Contacts, Emails, Calendar appears the exact same way as it does on your Ipaq.
-Very accurate Handwriting recognition. One of the best selling points for the Apple PDA is now available for the Ipaq. Same technology and accuracy that the Newtons run on.
-With the Palm V, you're limited to the amount of memory you can store of only 2MB or 8MB if you have the Vx. With the Compact Flash Card, you can store up to whatever your compact flash can hold. Currently, it's at 1GB. That's a lot of mp3s.
-Overall, it looks very cool (Matrix silver) and it's the fastest and most top of the line PocketPC you can buy out there on the market. And because it's so hard to get, it just raises the cool factor even higher. =)
Some of the negative sides
-Doesn't come with a serial cable. So people running NT have to purchase this cable separately.
-Size. It is a little bulkier than the sleek Palm V, but it still fits in my pocket and I can carry it in my bag.
-Accessories are hard to find and anything related to this item (including the Ipaq itself) is hard to find. Too bad a hard cover case isn't available yet for this. I'm still looking btw.
-Software. There's much more third party software out there available for Palm than there is for PocketPC. Go figure...Palm owns 70% marketshare for PDAs. This will slowly change.
Overall...the Ipaq is very nice. If you can afford one and find one available, I really suggest this as a very good strong buy.

I bought this for my HP DM1-4000...it fits okay but not well because of the curve shape of the notebook itself. So one end will always have a tighter end than the other
the pocket is great for little things like a small notebook and pen (if you're in school). Putting the power adapter in there is unwise and will make the case very bulky
the case isn't thick itself, and the main reason I bought this is because my backpack is roughly for 13'' to 15'' laptops. Having this case would protect the dm1 more than anything else since the dm1 has pretty flimsy plastics

It holds my HP Pavilion dm1-3245ca (dm1 in Canada, dm1z in USA 11.6" screen) very well, without forcing it at all inside.
The sleeve is slim (no outside handles to make it looks like a bag or something similar) and it still manages to have shock absorbing bumbs on the inside for additional protection.
This is NOT a drop-proof bag! People need to understand the actual purpose of each product.
This is a SLEEVE which has the primary function of scratch-protection and it offers an additional small shock absorbing (because even in a backpack, an netbook/laptop could be damage.

This product does what it does and is not over-priced. PERFECT!This product does exactly what I wanted it to do, my 11.6 inch HP netbook fits inside perfectly. There is enough room in the pocket for the charger and a portable wireless mouse, although it becomes pretty bumpy with those things in the pocket. There is a good amount of padding, I feel comfortable that it is protecting my computer. Good quality, well made, seems like good quality materials usedI'm very satisfied.

I have to caveat this review by pointing out I purchased the product to cover the LCD screen on my metal detector--not a PDA. Nonetheless, the purpose the protective screen serves is very similar.Because mine is a non-standard use, I had to slightly trim the protective sheet to fit my screen. This went without a hitch and the screen cut cleanly with sharp scissors. I then applied the protective screen to the LCD, and it virtually disappeared--very nice. I think it will function as promised, and the non-glare quality will be welcomed in the field.
The reason I have not rated the screen higher is that the price is appalling. It's a thin little piece of plastic with some adhesive on one side, over-packaged with a lint-free cloth and a piece of rigid cardboard for smoothing out trapped air bubbles. Give me a break!

Sony PSP PlayStation Travel Charger
I ordered this product to replace a PSP charger that I had lost. The product isn't actually designed specifically for the psp, it is a generic cellphone charger that works with the psp. The charger quickly overheats and feels very flimsy. While pulling the charger out of the socket about a week after purchasing the case simply fell apart. Overall I would only recomend this as an emergency charger until you can find or afford a real one.

It's a cheap fake flimsy piece of junk.It doesn't even fit the PSP. You have to practically force it into the PSP, and it feels like it will break off inside the psp when you try to remove it.

I bought this at Target. At first I really liked the case. It securely holds my Nook Tablet and has a slim fit. However, it's already starting to fall apart and I've only had it for about a week.Pros:

The clasp is fraying on the edges
The soft material on the inside edge is wearing away. I fold the cover back and the soft material on the edge is now worn away.
The hole for the headphones is too close to the back of the cover. You cannot fit a normal headphone plug without the potential of bending the Nook port. A slim plug like those used with the iPhone should fit though.
I'll be returning it and going with something else.
