I had a little difficulty getting this keyboard connected to my Casio Commando, but this was solved with an app (blueinput). Then I had to figure out (with the help of a youtube video) that you had to choose the input type by long pressing on the first input box and selecting the dot for macro keyboard. Once I got past this learning curve, I have been extremely happy with this keyboard and my android phone. Be aware, if you are going to use this with an android phone, you will need to spend an additional $15 to get the paid version of the app which will make it work. Rii states that the .apk that comes with the keyboard only works with android versions up to 1.5. I couldn't find a free app that worked.

The candybar keyboard is quite handy, well made and responsive.

I have used in Ubuntu, Win7 and on my Asus transformer. I made a good purchase.

I recommend this keyboard for your Asus Transformeror any tablet for that matter.

It also has a laser pointer and keyboard lights up. It also has a Bluetooth usb dongle wich pops out from the keyboard if you need to use. Good stuff!

I have had this product for a few months now. I really like it but the Bluetooth connection is terrible! You can expect >10 Feet Line-of-Sight (and I mean no obstacles at all!). In fact it will not work at any distance if there is an obstacle in the way, which is very disappointing. Also a few of the keys have to be pressed really hard to get them to work, and I wouldn't use this for doing any typing whatsoever; it is best for web browsing/multimedia etc. Other than those two things I love it, great features. Also it comes with a little Bluetooth dongle that stashes inside it. My cats LOVE the Laser too. If the connection problems are not an issue for you than I would highly recommend it. Oh and the instructions/packaging have very entertaining broken English, "The teacher must have the best weapon" haha!

I have tried all kinds of MCE (media center) remotes: generic vertical, horizontal Logitech, etc, but this one beats them all. The range on this remote is great (finally found one!). We sit 12 feet back from our TV and it works well. Just be sure to use the extender cable (do not plug receiver dongle directly into PC unless you are using this at really close range because of interference). Plugged in directly you get about 6ft range, whereas with an extender cable, even if you coil it up right near the PC, you'll get 12ft range. No problem with having to reach across the trackpad on the right side my wife has small hands and uses it just fine. My only complaint is lack of a few buttons there is no END button of F9-F12 function keys. If you don't use those 5 keys a lot then this is the best and last MCE remote you'll ever need! :)

I am a doctoral student in the humanities and I got this scanner because as I research, I like to copy passages on various topics into my computer for quick searching ability. This pen scanner has increased the speed with which I copy notes. There is a learning curve with this product. It takes a little time to get used to the feel of a scan that will turn out perfectly copied text. Also, I've found that if you take a few seconds to calibrate your pen before a copying session, it greatly improves the accuracy. I am a fairly fast typer 40 wpm, and I have typed out a passage, and corrected my errors, and then scanned the same passage and corrected the errors. I found that the pen was almost twice as fast. The software is aesthetically lacking and not completely intuitive, but it gets the job done.

While this product is not perfect in every way, it improves upon the other alternatives to digitize passages of text from books and reports.

I've used this product with both Mac and PC (XP). It has scanned text easily into Pages, and Word for me.

Customer service was a little difficult to contact, but eventually I was able to contact them, and they sent me the Mac version of the software free of charge via an e mail attachment. I don't really use the scanner for foreign languages, handwritten notes, etc so I can't really comment on those features.

I am an academic and thought this product would be great for rapid scanning of book passages. Unfortunately, as is the case with earlier models both of Iris and other brands, about half of what I scanned was not correctly entered. I tried numerous positions and numerous books and numerous languages (English, French, German) but the same problem kept occurring. The bottom line: It is quicker and cheaper to type.

About 30 minutes after opening the box I was able to scan with my pen and get very good accuracy. I have no idea what the other reviewers are doing, but mine worked well after less than 5 minutes of practice. I use my pen to copy a paragraph or two from books in order to discuss the author's viewpoint in MSN groups. I found that the speed of the scan is important in getting accurate results. Scanning at the speed I would normally read the text gives a result that needs very little cleanup using a spellchecker. I am not the greatest typist, and this product will ensure that I probably never will get much better.

Downloading the program from the enclosed CD was effortless, and I have not changed from the factory settings. IRISPen definitely gets a thumbs up from me. My wife says it looks like magic, and she is correct. As usual.

I bought this originally to get some UPC information into my MacBook laptop without having to type. The first night I had this on my computer, I couldn't get it to work no matter how much I calibrated it. However, after finding out that I had to hold the pen still on a piece of paper while calibrating, it worked almost flawlessly afterwards.

In my classes, I can use it easily to quote essays with very good accuracy. For left handed use, they set it so I swipe the pen from the right side of the page to the left, which is much a much smoother motion. The only drawback happens when I get to the end of a line where the pen becomes creative. If the formatting n the paper that I quote off of puts a dash at the end of a line, the pen will try to make the partial word into a word in it's built in dictionary.

All in all, a GREAT value, and I am very pleased with this product.

I am writing my dissertation and I was lamenting to my Chair how difficult it was to do the Lit Review portion as typing quotes and passages from books and texts was both mechanically and visually difficult (holding the book down, typing, finding my place back in the material etc.). He then suggested a pen scanner. He uses the ectaco pen. It is well-reviewed on this site. I was going to get that but it only works for PCs. I have a Mac. So I found all these scanners that supposedly works for the Mac, including this one. The reviews daunted me as this product only got 3 or so stars. I gritted my teeth and went for it, thinking I could always return it. I got the product and wow! It works! The only thing it didn't do was automatically italicize a selection that was italicized in the original. I am known for reading instructions. So my advise to all the naysayers: RTFM. Now, in my real job as a school administrator, this has already become indispensable in the 24 hours that I got it. We are going through our accreditation and much of our data are on print and not digitized, it was a pain retyping the things I already did. I went through the next materials with the scanner . .. IT EVEN DOES TABLES! The amount of time it saves me is phenomenal. The text reading feature was cute. I can already see all the educational uses I can put this through. I am certainly going to have my teachers use this with their students. I got this from Amazon for $40 less than the others. Certainly a budget and time savings. Thank you IRIS!

After Electra came up with the coffee cup holder for your bike could the cell phone holder have been far away? Obviously not. But it makes more sense that you might think .

Having a cell phone while your biking is a tremendous safety asset. Getting lost, flats, bad weather etc being able to call for help (or get calls from help). Where to keep the phone when doing serious biking was always a bit of a question. If you have bike shirt you can always use the back pockets but it's sometimes hard to access if you have a bunch of stuff back there. Plus in warmer climates it gets drenched with sweat. So mounting it to the bike is a pretty good idea.

The Topeak holder is basically a heavy duty nylon/neoprene cell phone case. The biggest difference in design is that there is an extra bracket on the back clip that lets it slide onto and off of the mounting stud you place on your bike. You can also use it as a belt clip. On one side there are some elastic loops that let you store a stylus and thin pen. This particular unit is large enough to hold a full size blackberry with no problem and an I-phone if you stuff it.

The other part of it is a mounting bracket that goes on bike. The fastening mechanism is similar to a pipe clamp but it's all plastic. I wasn't thrilled with the plastic construction but at least it won't scratch your bike. You thread the strap around bike tube and into the fastener, then screw on the fastener and it takes up the slack until you've got the right fit.

Mounting options depend on your bike. Optimally it might go on the handlebars but that place can get busy with other accessories and the PDA holder is a bit large. I chose to mount it on the top frame tube. I was worried if it was going to fit since tube is oversized but it fit with no problem.

Once you've got the mount on you slide the clip over the square mounting stud till it clips. The stud is omni -directional so you can slide the holder in from any direction on the stud, not just up/down. It clips and it does not come off. Your phone is at the ready whenever you need it. When your done with the ride take it out or use it as your holder.

So in Summary

Pros-

Multi Functional, works on both bike and belt.

Convenient, lets you take your phone comfortably when you might leave it behind

Well built, would probably protect your phone in a crash.

Cons

A bit bulkier than other regular PDA carriers.

Conclusion

If your looking for a way to carry your phone with you while biking give this a serious look. It works well.

As long as you have no dimension issues fitting your device into case...and I don't...it works great.

One hint I'd suggest a quick wrap of handlebar cloth tape (or similar) to keep it from sliding since attachment band is plastic and can slip on metal bar.

the phone pack is perfect. I use a Palm Pixi (for size comparison), and it fits easily. This size would be a tight fit for an iPhone. the issue is with the fixer. Get it where you want it, and don't move it around. Tightening a plastic hex bolt with a metal hex key is always a bad idea. also, the tip of the fixer strap has cracked. I'm not moving it again, so this won't be an issue. If I had known to be more careful, I wouldn't have had any issues...that being said, its a great way to have your phone handy, and I'd buy another one if this one went missing.

I recommend this accessorie for you Palm M100. It's better than the HotSync Cable since it gives you a place to put your Palm. But I only give it 4 stars since it should have came instead of the HotSync Cable when you buy the Palm M100. I really do not understand why you need to buy the Cradle in the Palm M100, when in the other Palms is not an accessorie. If you have the money and want to have a base station for you Palm M100, then buy it......if not, then I recommend you to stay with the HotSync Cable and save your money for other accessories.

This Cradle is designed specifically for your Palm m100. It looks neat on your desk all by itself, and even better with the palm in it. It should be noted that it works in EXACTLY the same manner as the cable functionally. It is the same speed and does the same thing. But if you are like me having your Palm on your desk with this goofy cable coming out of it is annoying. And as soon as you take the cable out it falls behind your desk never to be seen again. This gives your Palm a place to rest, it doesn't fall behind your desk, and it is easier to get the Palm in and out of this than using that cable thing they give. Highly recomend, wish it just came with it.

My Palm m100 came with the hot sync cable, which does what it is supposed to do must of the time (it usually takes 3-4 tries to get it to sync with my Palm and PC). This cradle is much easier to use and I wish I didn't have to but it separately. I just stand my Palm in the cradle, press the button and let it work its magic. It is also a great place to keep my Palm without having to worry about it falling off the desk.

I would recommend getting this if your Palm doesn't come with one. For me, at least, it has just been much easier to use.

If you have a 'busy' desk like I do, I used a 2-sided adhesive to keep the cradle in place.

On the original stylus, the tip is pressed in and made of a different material. After lots of use, the shaft splits open. That is where it always broke.

The multiple angles and Velcro attachment allow me to set any viewing angle I have wanted, including switching from Portrait (vertical) to Landscape (horizontal) orientations. The only warning is to make sure the Ipad camera is centered in the hole on the case...I had a few photos with the edge of the case present in the photo, but it was only a 10 second fix.

I have gone through 2 cases. This is my recent one and love the features it have. Very sturdy and strong case. I like the option of removing the folder and the case remains protecting it. The many angle of viewing positioning very strong grips.

This thing is very bulky. I returned it. The lining seems kind of cheap and scratchy, and it has a velcro attachment from the inner case to the outer one. It also didn't fit my iPad 2 well. Maybe it will loosen up over time, but it wouldn't slide all the way in, so that the corners on the left side were protruding from the sides of the inner case, which would have provided no corner protection (on the left side) in case of a fall. I really didn't like how bulky it was.

I'm really picky when it comes to things like carrying cases for my electronics. I looked everywhere for something that had what I wanted in a carrying case, and this is it! I'm so happy with this purchase!

The case is nicely padded, and my netbook fits securely inside with the velcro strap. There's also a padded divider inside that you can adjust however you want (I use it to prevent side-to-side motion, and this also leaves a small section for the power cord to fit in nicely). There are several smaller pockets on the inside, and they're perfect for thinner items like DVDs, small usb adapters, or a few memory sticks. I also have an external DVD/CD drive (since netbooks don't have these drives), and if I don't overfill the inner pockets I can even fit the drive inside the case (in a bubble-wrap envelope), resting on top of the netbook.

I was having so much trouble finding a netbook case with a large outer pocket and a sturdy (detachable) shoulder strap, and this one has both! The outer pocket closes securely with the velcro tabs, so I'm not worried about things falling out. The outer pocket is good for storing the shoulder strap when not in use, and it's roomy enough even for a decent sized book. So far the zippers and shoulder strap (which is adjustable and padded!) are holding up very well.
