I purchased the rooCase for my MacBook Pro as I really liked the rooCase I bought a while back for my IPad. It is a well made case. I like the extra protection through the bubbles. However, I feel it is a little big and it does not fit as snuggly as I would like it to. The rooCase for my IPad has a better fit.The case is also not quite as stylish as I had anticipated. The pocket with red trim runs straight across the case. The color contrast is great, but the form is a little boring. The rooCase for my IPad is more stylish and interesting with it's diagonal pocket & trim.
Overall I am happy with the rooCase. It fulfills it's purpose and protects my computer. I would buy it again.

As a product, I highly recommend this. It works great to hold my Pocket PC secure and it allows me to have easy access to it as well when I need to take it out for use. Very well made and the magnetic flap holds secure when closed. I would have given it a full 5 stars, but the shipping from a third party company was very poor. When I contacted the shipping company, they had no idea of why this and my SD card were shipped seperately, or even where this product was shipped from. I then contacted Amazon and they were helpful to the extent they could be since they were not the shipper. They did provide me with the contact information to the shipping company. Needless to say, once I did get in contact with the correct people, they shipped it out that day and I had to wait 2 additional days to get this case. Love it!!!!, I thought it was just a case where the phone slid in and to use it you took it out. No, this is an actual case, the phone clips in just like the plastic one and to use it you flip the top open...but its Leather! Really well made and looks great! Takes 3 weeks to get it but, HELLO, it comes from Hong Kong. Its SO worth the wait! LOVE IT!!! If you want something not everybody and his brother has, these cases are the ticket. They look very profesional and I think I might need another one in a different color.

I've tried a lot of screen protectors since I got my iQue. At first there were very few that fit properly. Even when I found them they expected to be replaced every month. The first time I took this off and washed it, I really didn't expect it to continue working, now I'm several washings and about 5 months into using mine. It seems expensive for just one, but it's great.
I've used ClearTouch screen protectors on my other Palms, and this one is no exception. They fit _perfectly_. They have a perfect writing surface. They come with a reusable microfiber cleaning cloth and a plastic card to iron out any bubbles. They're very non-glare. They're reusable, just wash and re-install if they get dirty underneath; they don't use an adhesive.
Honestly, what more could you ask for? (That they be installed at the factory.) I wouldn't use a Palm without one.

First, beware that there is another version of this in the Amazon store that is exactly the same as this one. The difference is it says it's for the Macbook Air in the title and is $4 more! This case was not designed for the Macbook Air 11.6", rather any 11.6" netbook. It's upsetting that someone would take the same product, add "Macbook Air" to the title, and then raise the price. Thankfully it fits the Macbook Air 11.6" (late 2010 release) perfectly. Plus an iPad. Plus a few accessories such as a power cord.
It is a very small case, made quite well. It has a front pocket that closes magnetically, for holding a mobile phone. I think it's silly and will never use it.
There's a larger front pocket to hold quite a few things, and the pocket includes two pen slots and a pouch for holding something like an iPhone (it's about that size). There are no other pockets on the back or sides. It does include a fairly nice shoulder strap as well.

2TB G-safe Spare Module Drive
If you are needing RAID back-up, you probably should be using more than the two drives that come with the G-Safe base configuration. Another matched drive allows you to hot-swap a drive out for economic off-site storage. This is great and easy to do. With a 2 TB-size system, it will likely take hours to replicate a drive byte-by-byte when you do a swap, but this is done automatically as a background operation and drive remains in use. Works great, solid performance.

Sharp Zaurus SL-5600 PDA
I've been using Palm PDAs for about five years now and wanted to upgrade to something new. I had seen the Zaurus 5500 and was going to purchase one before I heard that the 5600 was being released. The 5600 is fast, applications load quickly and the OS seems to be very stable. I haven't had anything crash yet. Setting up wireless networking with a CF card is trivial, plug the card in, run the network config application and type in your WEP key and you're on the net. Surfing with Opera is excellent, you can zoom in and out on web pages and I haven't found any pages that it won't display. I have yet to try the Hancom applications for reading and writing Word and Excel docs but everything else works very well. Now I just need to find an SSH client for it and I'll really be in business.
The true test was then the synching feature. I installed the Intellisync software on my machine from the CD that came with my Zaurus, plugged in the docking station, put my Zaurus on there and hit the synch button. It all Synched without one problem! What a breeze!
The battery life on the 5600 is much improved over the 5000D and the 5500. Other things I love about the Zaurus: I can read and edit Word and Excel documents on it; can view PowerPoint presentations; the sliding QWERTY keyboard is convenient and, although it looks small and hard to use, it really is quite handy and easy to use. I also like the fact that you can use a compactflash card (CF) and/or a SecureDigital (SD) card. I could list more but I think my word limit is about up for this review! Bottomline: Highly recommend!

This device is almost perfect for the linux user who wants something smaller than his\her laptop. In order to appreciate this device, you really have to like linux. If you have never used linux, dont bother, get yourself an M$ windows pda.If you're like me and love linux, you'll love the zaurus. You can get virtually all main stream linux apps for it (gcc, make, apache, mysql...the list goes on and on). I especially like that fact that it has a java runtime, and with the addition of compiler (try ibm's Jikes compiled for zaurus) you have a pocket java development environment.
The fact that it has CF and SD slots means you can have your wifi and your extra storage in at the same time, which is a great plus.
The fold out keyboard is slightly slower than a full size, but still light years ahead of stupid handwriting recognition on other devices (although the z has that too)
There are tons of different roms availible, from sharp and others. One that fixes the pxa250 cache errata is definatly required, as you may have heard this is a bug which affects performance. But if you flash with a special kernel it fixes this bug and allows you to clock the device up to 471 mhz! NICE!
The Only thing I would add to this device is a built in DOWNSTREAM usb port, so that you can plug in usb devices. A Compact flash Usb card is availible from ratoc (for $150). I bought that too and now i can connect external HD's, Gamepads, Keyboards, Extra Wifi's, and maybe even printers or cd burners.
While Pocket PC Users can say things like "my Ipaq is LIKE a pc!" The zaurus user can say "my zaurus IS a PC".
There really isnt anything you cant do on the zaurus since its a full linux OS.
I would whole heartedly reccomend this product to EVERY linux user

I've been looking for a replacement for my Visor Platinum for a while now, and this one caught my eye. Aside from the fact that this model carries a faster processor and a longer lasting battery compared to the 5500, the size of the unit "may" look identical from the face, but the extended battery comes with a small price. The back of the unit sticks out slightly to accomodate for the larger battery. It's still one of the most feature rich PDA's out there with a pretty impressive onboard speaker and microphone. Transferring files to the CF or SD memory cards is pretty "clunky" so purchasing a 6-in-1 type reader is the best way to go if you want to transfer larger files. The box itself includes the Zaurus + a removable clear flip top similar to the old Palm III, a usb sync cradle, a laptop style ac adapter which can be used independantly of the cradle, a stylus, sync software, and manuals.Want Sharp Zaurus SL-5600 PDA Discount?
I have had the Zaurus for 2 days. This device is simply amazing. Just a few things to mention1) WI-FI support, I just plugin my Linksys wireless CF card, and it worked, on Pocket PC, I had to install software.
2) The wirelsss connection and the browser work great. On Pocket PC, the buggy MS software frequently quit working for no reason, and I had to reset the Pocket PC unit. The Linux based Zaurus is rock soild.
3) The USB syncing is reliable. The Pocket PC won't even work via the USB hub, you have to connect it directly to a USB port. Furthermore, activesync frequently stops working, and I had to reboot both the PC and PDA.
Now let me tell you something I have done:
1) installed OpenSSH onto the unit. After that, I leave the unit downstairs, upstairs using a notebook I wirelessly sshed into the PDA, it's just another UNIX server, at the bash promopt, I use wget to download a bunch of files from the net, including PERL, APACHE, and MYSQL. MySQL is only a few hundred kilio bytes, I created a few tables and run some SQL queries. Great!
2) Installed a VNC server on the PDA, then on my PC I use vncviewer to connect to the PDA, the PDA screen shows up on the PC, and I can remotely operate it via its GUI interface.
On the net, I found all sorts of applications ported to Zaurus, even including things like XFfree86 and Courier-mail server. Maybe we should do some web and mail benchmarking on this 400MHZ device.
In conclusion, this PDA is a true Linux machine with a small keyboard and screen that can be put in your pocket, you can use it to listen to mp3, browser web or serve web and email.....or whatever open source.

This is a very good addition to my Palm m505. A few other folks in my office have the same setup now and we use the Palms for chat in the office using the BlueChat app. We also picked up a Bluetooth printer (HP 995) and so now we have a way to easily print out notes taken on the Palm -very cool! We also purchased a Bluetooth access point from Pico Communications...Using the Bluetooth Access Point, we can connect our Palms to internet, surf the web, check email (I use Message Agent), and send and receive Instant messages (Yahoo Messenger). This is very cool as I can chat with anyone as long as I'm in range of the acess point which, in our office, is about 100 feet (the one access point covers the whole office -it's a pretty small office).
I have not tried using it with Bluetooth Phones but hope to as soon as I can get an Ericsson T68 from Cingular.
I've read that Bluetooth power consumption is supposed to be very low and that has been the case in my experience. My cradle is at home (I sync over Bluetooth at the office) and I've been able to use the Palm all day at work with intermittent periods of connection to the network, frequent chat and syncing once or twice. I notice the backlight reduces battery life so if you want the best results, try to keep it off.
Beyond that, the form factor is "problematic" at best, as the "antenna" on the bluetooth card sticks out quite a bit from the edge of the phone.

Wonder how long before it breaks? This card sticks out quite a bit (the part above the notches) when inserted into my m505 so I have to be careful when carrying the Palm in a bag, briefcase, backpack, etc. or remember to remove the card first. Other than the physical annoyance the software is not the simplest to set up and use, but then I've that to be the case with all Bluetooth devices.For the most part, however, I have been able to set it up to communicate with my SonyEricsson T68i and my computer with the Tecom Bluetooth dongle.

As a heavy Palm user -for calendar, memos, to-do lists, and word processing -I found the Palm Bluetooth SD Card to be the perfect accessory. With it, I can print up to 30 feet away to my HP 995 Bluetooth printer.By also adding Docs To Go (from Dataviz) and BtPrint (from ISComplete.com), I can also print MS Word documents, as well as items from the major Palm applications (calendar, memo, address book, to-do lists and e-mail).
(For additional printer flexibility, I can also switch to IR mode which will allow me to output to any infrared capable printer -such as my HP DeskJet 350, 990, 995 or Photosmart 1315 printers -up to just 12" away.)
With the above capabilities, I can now sit in my favorite chair, write or modify documents on my Palm, and then "beam" them across the room to my printer -without ever having to leave my seat or go upstairs to sync with my desktop computer! Being able to print from my Palm (via Bluetooth) allows me to work more independently (since I'm not tied as much to my PC) -and it allows me to output a copy of my documents so that I can check my work more readily (since reading a sheet of paper, obviously, is much easier to review than my Palm's small screen).
Here are some of my favorite things to print:
MS Word documents (or drafts) that I've written or modified on my Palm.
Other documents which I've saved in my Palm that are useful as references in meetings.
E-mails, which I find to be very handy, especially when I work from home.
Address book entries to share with others who don't have a Palm.
A copy of my calendar for today, so that I can refer to it (and write notes on it) without having to look inside my Palm.
Meeting notes that I've just written (using my Targus fold-up keyboard), which I can then file immediately.
A copy of my to-do list which allows me to keep working while my Palm is syncing.
Being able to print from my Palm allows me to use it -as if it were a mini-PC! (I wouldn't use my regular computer, for example, without being able to print from it. Why should working on my Palm be any different?)
With my Palm Bluetooth SD Card, I can now utilize my Palm to its fullest. I love it!

I didn't realize how far this would protrude from my m515. I think I'd prefer a tungsten at this point. The manufacturer (Toshiba) is supposed to start selling one that is substantially shorter, so it protrudes only half as much.The software that came with it is quite bugtastic. I found myself resetting my poor palm many times a day when using bluetooth networking. This improved greatly when I downloaded palm's updated drivers and software. Now it's only as buggy as the applications I run (unfortunately that's still awfully buggy!).

Motorola V3 RAZR OEM Rapid Travel Charg
I came across this product by making a search using Motorola Q as keywords, and when I saw the price and the picture I was sure this was the charger I needed (what can go wrong?). The purchase experience went smoothly and I was able to track my package online but when it arrived and I tested it on the phone it didn't fit. The reason? It needed an adapter from the car kit(discount stores sell them for about $5 and they come with about 6 or 7 different kinds of adapters). Luckily for me I was able to find a pack of adapters at a discount store and problem solved. Reading again the seller's product description I noticed that it is sold as a RAZR OEM charger "compatible" with Motorola Q but also mentions to combine with the car kit adapter so maybe I rushed in reading the features and my mind blacked out when I saw the retail price of $1.99 but overall, the total price paid for this charger and the adapter was still way cheaper than buying the original Motorola Q charger, so I think it was still a good buy.
