There are additional screw holes on this lid organizer to accommodate multiple cases. It fits in my Pelican 1620 case. If anyone cares, the tag attached to the organizer says, "Made in China." Nevertheless, I do plan on buying another one of these for my second 1620 case at a later date.

This lid came in quickly. I was surprised, happily so, that it attached to the 1620 with 6 screws. It also has the tape option, but I can't imagine that would be terribly sturdy for the long run. I haven't had a chance to move all of our supplies into it yet, but so far it seems like even more than what I expected. Great item.I live my career on the road. I am in the entertainment business, all of my tools that i use every show live in a pelican case. this lid organizer is the best. holds up well, with stands abuse..my only complaint is the price, but you get what you pay for

Bought this for my daughters Nook Tablet. The tablet has a 'soft' touch surface and this was key to applying this skin. Just my humble opinion, but no skin goes on straight...(maybe I'm just too picky), without a lot of repositioning. The 'soft' touch surface of the tablet allowed for easy removal and repositioning. This skin is cut a bit shy (a mm here and there) in places but will not overhang critical edges Unless you stretch it too much...and it will stretch.So, once I got it positioned, it fit very well. It transitions around the rounded corners nicely all the way to the outside tip of the corner, and stays stuck. The vinyl skin will show every bit of debris stuck between the appliqué and the Nook and this is nowhere more evident than on the larger back surface, so I had to be sure the Nook was clean before I started. Didn't have much trouble with bubbles, just 'milked' them out without too much heartache.
And don't forget the little pieces; the strip that applies to the glass around the Nook home button and the corner strip for the card cover. In my opinion these are optional but they are there if you want them.

I only applied the back portion of this skin to my phone since I have a screen protector on my phone and this skin is tricky to put over a screen protector. My phone looks pretty cool with just the back skin applied. It really looks nice and looks like a completely different phone now!The skin comes in three layers. The first layer is similar to the backing of a sticker; it keeps junk from getting stuck to the adhesive side of the skin. The second layer is the skin itself, while the third layer keeps the skin from getting deformed during application and if the skin needs multiple small pieces, it also keeps them in the right place so that you can apply them all at once.
I recommend not removing the third layer until you are satisfied with the way that the skin is sitting on the device.
Application is very easy, although it may take you a few tries to get it to lay down straight. If you have to do that, it isn't a big deal, but you need to be sure that you take your time and use as much patience as you can.
A recommendation for the seller/manufacturer (this does not affect my review):
Incorporate a screen protector into the front piece of the skin. It would have been nice to have applied a single layer that was both the skin AND a screen protector; or in other words, the center portion of the front skin could be just a clear piece, while the borders were the skin.

good spare batteries, but they don't seem to last as long as they should. It's hard to say though, it could just be that my phone sucks the juice like no other. I have a half dozen batteries and always carry 2 or 3 in my pocket. I can't imagine how an iphone would ever work for me without a replaceable battery.

The projector is impressively small and has a relatively bright and sharp image. Unfortunately, it does not support iPhone or iPad--despite specifications that say otherwise. This was a shot below the water line for me. Connecting an iPhone 4s results in only a black screen. Connecting an iPad gives a partial out-of-synch image, revealing the product is unable to cope with the iPad screen frequency. So despite how cute it is, it's premature to say this supports the iPhone. So I will be sending it back and waiting for the next generation. (Note: this is not to say it won't work with the Droid...but I don't own one to test on it.)

If you need a handheld for basic PIM tasks such as phone numbers adresses and e-mail this is the one for you, read on. If on the other hand you need a powerful handheld computer able to do multimedia I recommend you look at the Sony Clie line of Palm OS handhelds.The Zire provides all you need to substitute your paper based agenda out of the box.
About the OS:
Palm OS is actually the standard OS on handhelds (most like Windows on the desktop). This handheld includes a desktop PIM(personal information managers) as well as software to sync with Microsoft Outlook.
There are thousand of programs available for the palm OS add such as enhanced PIM , Personal finance program to syncronize with MS Money and Quicken as well as office suites and games.
Hardware:
Zire has a very stilish design it is almost as small as a Palm M515 or clie T 665. Also this handheld as all Palm branded handhelds is build to last with a tought elegant casing.
It is compatible with Windows and Machintos desktops. The only limitations I find in this computer are that it only has 2 MB of memory (but I am a power user), for most peple 2 MB is plenty to store thousand of addresses as well as and office suite and other programs. Another minor limitation for gammers it that there are only four buttons.
Sumarry:
The zire is arguably the best possible solution for someone just entering the world of handhelds. This is the best entry level handheld computer for the money
The only drawback is that the screen is not backlit, and while the contrast is adjustable and the screen easily visible in bright light, it's hard to see under regular lamplight. As I become more dependent on this, I can see I will probably want to upgrade...exactly the marketing strategy Palm had in mind.
Oh, and don't waste your money on Palm's PDA carrying case. It's made of a heavy, soft, kind of smelly plastic that takes away all the lightweight advantages of the small Palm Zire. You can find much nicer ones for much less online at places like eBags.com.The new Zire Palm is essentially an updated version of the Palm m100, with the following changes:
* An even !Smaller! screen.
* A new, stylish form factor.
* A rechargeable battery.
* A funky new name.
All of the other limitations of the m100 still exist. The memory is not upgradeable, and 2MB is pathetically small, allowing for only the most basic address and scheduling functions. The three PALM programs that I consider essential would overwhelm this puppy. They are: Mapopolis (a mapping program from Mapopopolis.com with keyword-searchable street maps), Avantgo (an online news service that downloads articles to your palm) and Vindigo (a restaurant, movie and city guide).
The lack of memory is riduculous, especially considering that the m105 model that this also replaces has 8 MB and a slightly larger screen!
Believe me, screen size matters when you are pointing and clicking on a tiny keyboard on your Palm. And this has to be the smallest screen yet.
To me, this model is only for those misguided and poor folks who would have bought the now-discontinued m100 model but want a rechargeable battery. There are far better models out there for only a few more bucks. You can still find some of the excellent Handspring Visor leftover models around for about the same price, which feature the large screens and 8 MB. And Sony's CLIE line of Palm OS handhelds basically now own the middle of the PALM product line.
Here's a basic PALM product guide:
Zire/Palm m100: Bottom of the line. Designed to suck you in but leave you wanting more. Think of this as the Chevy Chevette of Palms. Plagued by small screens.
Palm m105: The 8MB version of the m100. Fine, except needs batteries and plagued by small screen.
Palm 125: Ooh, expansion slot that you will probably never use. Still plagued by small screen.
Palm 130: Adds color, lithium battery to m125. Not bad, but screen still small, low res.
Palm m500: Still the standard for monochrome Palms. Lightweight, with a clear, large screen and a classic form-factor that gave the company its name. 8MB, expandable, lithium-polymer battery. Triple-Aces.
Palm m505: Discontinued color model features horrible washed out color screen. AVOID.
Palm m515: Soon to be discontinued Color PALM. Very good, but no Palm TUNGSTEN T.
Palm TUNGSTEN T: The top of the line. Finally, Palm builds a PALM that can compete with a Pocket PC. Too bad they priced it like one too. Triple Aces design, with fabulous ergonomics, fantastic high-res active screen, battery, bluetooth, and drop-down graffiti pad.
For competitors, check out the new Handspring Treo models, which feature thumbpads and a small form factor (some with phones), and the Sony CLIE line. The CLIE models, which start at just over a hundred clams, have a nice form factor, and upper-level models feature the best high-res color screens for generally less than what you'd pay for a similar PALM-branded model. CLIE's feature memory-stick slots and lithium batteries. But I've heard Sony's customer service is weak compared to Palm's easy-as-pie returns. These things do break from time to time, so keep that in mind.

Last year I asked my wife for a PDA for Christmas which I received. She bought a good brand, a top seller, but I was totally frustrated with learning how it works. It shouldn't be that complicated. I am a 13 year old kid who bought this pda with my mowing money for school. This is a very good PDA for its price. It has a nice B&W touch screen and looks cool. It has an Adress book, date book, memo pad, note pad (you can draw stuff on the screen with this), 13 digit calculator, clock & alarm, expense, to do list, and security. A cd comes in the package that has palm desktop software (synchronising stuff), and mine hunt, giraffe, hardball (like pong), and puzzle 15 (theese are all games that you put on the pda through the desktop software). This is a very good pda for anyone who wants one thats cheap in price, but not in quality.

Okay, maybe you didn't, but I did and that's exactly what I have been doing since I started using the Kodak P811! I have several large boxes full of photos and 35mm negative strips and even slides that date back to ....well, a long time :) The boxes are totally unorganized and I have just kept putting off even opening them up, until now.....this past weekend I sat and laughed and cried as the photos brought back memories of family and pets now gone, 4-H camps, vacations, trips, and be still my heart, a 1975 Elvis Presley concert I had forgotten about!!The Kodak P811 is so easy to use, but before you start, I would highly suggest you leave it alone in the box and read the User Guide and the Quick Start Guide. They explain in detail what to do and what not to do. For instance, if you want to use a slide, you have to take it out of the original mounting and you should not do that if you want to put it back into the mounting and you do not know how to do that. The option is to have it done by a professional if you want to use it as a slide again. I would not have known that if I had not read the User Guide first.
I had no problems feeding pictures and 35mm negative strips into the P811. Just read the directions! And, if you do have a problem, I found that Kodak customer support was readily available to help me solve it.
I am enjoying using the P811!
So why buy this scanner when there are better ones out there? Kodak hit a home run with portability. I was just thinking about a trip we are planning to visit a great-grandmother. Her house is full of old photos we'd like to archive electronically. Short of grabbing the photos from her or bringing up a laptop/desktop scanner, this will get the job done. Every time she shows us a photo, we can zip it through the scanner and save it. The image is preserved good enough for nostalgia, where the alternative may be losing the image forever.
Many of us use our iPhones to take photos even when we own DSLR's, and we use FlipVideo even when we have 1080P camcorders with better optics. This scanner is good enough when it needs to be there and needs to be fast.

I was so exicted to get this it had 5 stars and rave reviews. I have hundreds of photos to scan in.I was thinking what an easy way to scan them in to digital scrapbook. It is easy to use and can take to Grandpa's house when I visit. The MAJOR issue is it washes out the color. You then have to spend time doing lots of color correction to make skintones look correct. Fixing color,so Grandma is not pale white but has a bit of pink in her face, turned the green curtains blue and lost the depth in some photos. The whites realy pop and have to be toned down also. However a black and white photo worked great and looked even better when scanned in the sleeve provided. So give up quality for easy of use and portablilty? Only you can make that choice. The P811 is actually a very neat product as it allows maximum portability. I could use AA batteries or the AC adapter to power up the P811. Since it stores data on SD cards, a computer is not required for scanning and storing. You could pack the scanner in a bag while traveling and use it in a hotel room.
The scanner defaults to 600 dpi quality, and has an option for 300 dpi. I found that the 600 dpi only produced a meager resolution for my negatives. Some of the negatives weren't scanned in the original aspect ratio and required some height adjustment. The color reproduction isn't that great, as it tended to brighten everything and desaturate skin tones (makes everyone look pale white). For black and white film, it was generally fine but tended to over contrast some of the darker shots. Overall, the negative scans are a far cry from making actual photographs in a lab.
The photograph and sheet scanning was acceptable but not quite on-par with a multipurpose printer or dedicated scanner.
I would have liked higher resolutions for the negatives with better quality and color reproduction.
Overall: 4/5 stars, maximum portability with acceptable quality.

If most of your photos are 8 x 10 (rounding down a bit) and you need only fine resolution (600 dpl), this scanner is a good value. If you want true portability, this baby is definitely for you. Portable means it is light, small and has all you need to work in the field. It does not mean that you can break rocks with it, take it out in the rain or sandstorms or scan billboards. So keep it clean and dry and treat it like the instrument it is and you will be happy. Works for both PC and Apple.If you need extra fine resolution or large formats, look elsewhere. I was up and running in a few minutes with the results I was hoping for. It is simple to set up, install and use. But you do need to take a little bit of care here and there. So a few specific observations:
Scanner does not come with batteries and does not support your normal alkaline batteries. For true portability get four of the the specified Ni-MH AAA or UM-4 rechargeable batteries (consider an extra four for the field), and a charger for them. At home, you do not need batteries, so just plug in.
Pay a little attention to sequence. So first plug in the power adapter to the scanner, and then into the power socket. Then insert the memory card. Then turn it on. First plug the cable into the scanner. Then plug the USB into your computer port. Not critical, but it is good practice to follow sequence.
Use the plastic sheath with small or less than flat photographs and with slides. I wish they had a facility to let you insert mounted slides, instead of removing them from their mounting. But at this price point I have no right to expect such. The sheath improves flatness and gives you higher quality on those photographs with a little warp or other surface undulations.
Be patient. It takes a little while longer than you may expect to initialize the scanner, to begin the scan and to create the file on your computer. Install on your computer before scanning your first.
There is a calibration facility for later need. You do not need it to start. A calibration card is included. Keep your sensor clean. Keep everything clean by storing in the bag or some equivalent.
Take a little care to set your photographs squarely. Otherwise they might scan on a skew. And you may scan in all directions and, room permitting, from aligning left and right sides of the scanner. You can pick the best result in case there are tonal or other visual differences. I keep forgetting to load face up, a hangover from years of photocopiers. Speaking of copiers, this is not a copier. The photographs pass through the scanner. So there are limits on how thick or thin the sheet can be. Here is where the sheath comes in handy again. Newspaper and magazine paper is too thin. But if you use the sheath, you can scan a photo or a recipe out of the paper. Stamp collectors can scan their stamps. You get the picture, so to speak.
Once your files are on your computer you can import them into any other image processor that works with the format. Or you can just view and share via email or whatever you like as is.

So, it seems like the iPad stylus getting all the attention and adoration is the Pogo Sketch Stylus. Having just spent a week using it, I can honestly say it's a piece of crap. The tip is overly soft and flops back and forth while you write. It also requires that you press entirely too hard before the iPad senses it. I now take all my meeting notes on my iPad, and the Pogo Sketch was too thin which, combined with the amount of pressure required, makes longer note-taking sessions actually a bit painful.So, at my co-worker's suggestion, I ordered the BoxWave stylus. It's a thousand times better. The tip is more firm and rounded, so it doesn't move while using it. It feels more like a real pen, instead of a bad paintbrush. I suppose it costs a few bucks more, but it's worth it. Going from the Pogo Sketch to the BoxWave was like going from a Toyota Yaris to an Audi R8.

I'm an artist by trade. I already have a few Wacom tablets. So when it was suggested i give drawing on the iPad a try -I scoffed. The iPad doesn't have sensitivity like the Wacom tablets do, so I couldn't conceive that it would be good for anything beyond hangman or tic-tac-toe. Of course I was wrong. Crazy wrong.
The lack of sensitivity is an issue, but another stylus manufacturer has developed an algorithm that mimics sensitivity -hopefully Apple will embrace this tech and implement it later on.
In the meantime, i learned to love drawing on my iPad; i loved being able to do quick little doodles and email them off to friends or clients... and while it takes some getting used to, you are capable of some remarkable detail.
Which is where using a stylus comes in.
Since I was initially clueless as to what to do with my iPad -it also hadn't occurred to me to use a stylus for drawing. Here I was honing my finger-painting skills and then I watched as my friend casually whipped out her iPad and Pogo stylus and started doodling away. My jaw nearly dropped; what a revelation!
I ordered the exact same stylus she was using, the Pogo Sketch. When it arrived and I started drawing with it I was less than pleased; the tip is sort of this prickled velcro-y like fabric that is stuffed with foam rubber. It's pliant, and I didn't feel very in control with it -by that I mean I couldn't be completely precise in where it would make contact with the screen. I felt it was just too mushy.
Then I ordered Boxwave's stylus. This was a vast improvement. The tip feels like a hollow rubber ball. It's definitely much more precise, and in my opinion -superior for drawing. It's also a quality item, it's nicely made, the finish is nice, and it has a lanyard attached that plugs into the iPad's headphone jack.
Drawing on iPad is not like drawing on paper. There's a learning curve to it -and different people will use different tools in their own way. In other words, a perfect stylus probably does not exist yet....but for me -this one is pretty close.I bought this stylus to use with an iPad for drawing and painting and writing apps. It works awesome. Basically works flawlessly as the missing stylus for an iPad. It is well made and looks nice. It is a bit over priced considering it is an anodized aluminum tube with some capacitance foam on the end. But it does use a very dense foam, which makes it more accurate than other iPad styii. If you don't mind the price, I would highly recommend this product for your iPad...

I purchased the Palm Zire 31 a couple of weeks ago and so far I love it. I installed the software and had my palm up and running in less then 30 minutes. The CD that is included with the palm allows you to install optional software. When my old Palm M130 died a few months ago I started looking at all of the different handhelds that are on the Market. I ended up purchasing an expensive HP IPAQ due to the fact that it came with a Windows based operating system. I had nothing but problems. I finally decided to go back to Palm. After using the IPAQ for several months I realized that I did not need all of the fancy features that came with it (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc). I need a basic handheld that would allow me to calendar important dates and store information such as addresses, phone numbers, etc. I also wanted one that could store pictures and games and other miscellaneous programs. I originally wanted the Palm Tungsten E but after reading tons of negative reviews on several different websites I quickly changed my mind. So far my palm is working like a charm. I have installed tons of games and programs and I have not had any problems. One thing that I would highly recommend is purchasing a back up program online (I like My palm automatically backs up all of the info on my palm to my SD card every time I sync it. To eliminate the stress of having a faulty palm I would also recommend purchasing the extended 2 year warranty if it is available. I purchased it for an extra $19 and if anything goes wrong with my palm they will replace it with a new one.The screen is only 160x160 but I am not going to be watching movies or playing high resolution games on my palm. The pictures look descent but I only attach pictures to the phone numbers in my address book. I only play basic games like card games and board games and as far as I can tell, they look fine. The only thing that I don't like about this palm (and the reason I gave it 4 stars) is that the plugs for the sync cable and charging cable are on the side of the palm and not the bottom like on all other palms. Also, the flap that they give you to protect the screen is very flimsy. I use it to protect the screen while it is in my purse but I plan on buying a protective case. Other then that, the Palm Zire 31 definitely suites it purpose.
If you are looking for a basic handheld that is inexpensive and will help you stay organized, the Zire 31 is perfect. On the other hand if you are looking for a handheld with Wi-Fi capability or Blue tooth or if you plan to play high resolution games or watch movies then you might want to look at the higher models (or maybe even consider a high end Dell or IPAQ).

Ok, this is my first PDA...so i dont know very much about it. But if youre in the same boat, then read on.I searched and searched...looked at the Zire 21, Sony Clie TJ-27, and every other PDA in this price range.
And then i came across an amazing deal: a Zire 31 for $142...
wow, what a bargain. This PDA does everything i want, and MORE. Not only can i keep track of all my contacts, etc etc...i can view photos (and put them in the background)...
it comes with two e-books...Last of the Mohicans and The Wizard of Oz...
it comes with a really cool Database system that has area codes all over the U.S., airline phone #s, Hotels, dietary info for a whole bunch of foods and drinks...
it comes with solitaire...and an Expenses program to keep track of credit card and bank account balances...
there's an MP3 player included, which i havent used (because you need to purchase an SD memory card separately...and because i just dont want to drain the batteries for that...i mean, for the same price as an SD card, i can just buy a Sony Minidisc player that runs on one AA battery, and save my PDA battery -which isnt user replaceable, so only has a certain life-span).
Hot syncing...where you transfer info from your computer to the PDA and vice versa is incredibly easy. Just touch the button on the screen, and tada! magic. Done.
This PDA gets a 4 out of 5 for one reason and one reason only: the screen. 160x160 isnt bad resolution...but it isnt good either. I mean, it's just fine for me, because im not using it too much, and im not serious about viewing pictures and stuff like that. However, i often find myself playing around with the brightness, contrast, backgrounds, and color to find something that's easy and beautiful on the eyes. It takes a while, but youll find a setting that makes you happy.
If youre a beginner, get the Zire 31. A big step up from the Zire 21...and better than the Sony Clie TJ-27 in terms of price and practicality...i mean -who wants a real crappy digital camera anyways? Dont bother with it...if you want digital pictures, get yourself a real digital camera (i.e. Canon Powershot A75).
One last thing -i almost forgot --... dont listen to people babbling on about the 90 day warranty. As long as you get this PDA from a self-respecting retail store, youll automatically get a one-year warranty from them. And you can purchase an extended warranty for about $20 or so. For something this cheap, they'll most likely replace your PDA right away if there's a serious problem. Check with them first.

If you're looking to replace your bulky Day Planner with a pocket sized handheld, the Zire 31 is definately the way to go. Spend the extra $50 to get the 31 rather than the Black and White 21. The only real difference is color, but on a small screen, you need it.Palm handhelds are all extremely user friendly. Turn it on and you'll find the layout very intuitive and easy to use. There is no learning curve on a Palm (unlike a Pocket PC). This is a good gift for anyone who says, "computers are too hard" but needs help getting organized.
If this is your first handheld, the screen size and resolution aren't an issue. If you've never used a better screen, you don't know what you're missing. Don't go looking for something to make you feel bad. Also, if this is your first handheld, why spend extra money on a more expensive model before you know if you'll ever use it or not? If you get it and hate it, you're not out much money. If you get it and love it, Palm has a trade-in program which will get you a discount off your next purchase.
That said, if you have fantasies about gaming on your Palm, this is not the one to buy. Try the Tungsten E (currently running around $200.) If you want to replace a dayplanner, this is a perfect choice.
The Zire 31 itself is a very basic device. You have an (outlook compatible) calander, an (outlook compatible) address book, and an (outlook compatible) task list as the core features. These are a great help in getting you organized. The programs are a breeze to use again, no learning curve. People who are terrified of computers should find this very learnable. Those used to computers will wonder why everything isn't this user friendly.
If you want to do more than organize your life, you can get a ton of additional Zire compatible software through PalmOne.com or a variety of third party sources. These run the gamut, including old school game classics like Ultima I and II, Fittness and Diet tracking programs with diagrams of muscle groups, and checkbook balancing programs, plus tons more. I highly recommend the fun and addictive "Bubblet."
I never bothered with the graffiti pad, instead using the optional onscreen keyboard. You can peck words out with your stylus without having to relearn handwriting.
Once you get used to using a handheld, you won't want to lose your data. BUY A HARD CASE. I can not emphasize this enough.
My Zire died in the first 2 months due to a swift impact on the touch screen. This is a problem with ALL handhelds, whether Palm or PPC based. Get a metal hard case (no leather, it's not strong enough) and rest easy if it gets dropped. Some people are very careful, but then there's the rest of us. Look through the case reviews and you'll find plenty of people bemoaning losing thier 5th handheld in 3 years. Save yourself the misery at the beginning, by buying a hard case with your Zire.

Purchasing a PDA/Smartphone/Camera/etc. can be a daunting task. There are too many choices on the market, and too many confusing reviews. I am thrilled with my Zire 31, because it does everthing I need, and not too much more. If you are considering this PDA, don't be put off by the many reviews that claim it is right for novices or technophobes. In fact, I believe it is perfect for the serious business user, because it does what most professionals need.Firstly, it is light and compact. So no problems to take it with you to each and every meeting (my former iPaq always seemed bulky). Secondly, it syncs perfectly with Outlook (and with OS X, too, which means I can finally sync my work PC with my home Macs). The color quality is good enough for showing a few pictures of the kids. It is the perfect tool for managing a busy work and home schedule. My only complaint is the MP3 player. I wish they wouldn't have included one. Who needs it? The unit could have been even smaller without, no doubt!
More positives include the lack of a camera. Why would someone especially a busy profesional want to take pictures with a PDA? I already have a digital camera, and I take it with me on trips if I want to capture a few moments. And the quality is excellent.
Fortunately, the Zire 31 also lacks bluetooth and wi-fi capability. I carry my laptop with me everywhere. Who wants to surf the web on a handheld, other than a masochist? Crazy. This might sound like a must for a busy executive, but from my experience, your laptop is the way to go mobile over the internet. I never travel without my laptop, which has both wifi and bluetooth. So problem solved.
Another advantage is lack of phone functionality. My advice: buy a proper mobile phone. Most combination PDA/phones look terrible. The Treo is a good example: it's too bulky (although sleeker than most), and in the end you get an expensive PDA with too many features and a so-so phone. And you can never leave the "phone" or the "PDA" at home. You are stuck with both of them. It's not a feature, it's an inconvenience.
Some people have discussed the poor video quality when playing games and watching videos. Hello? You are a busy executive and you want to play Doom on your PDA? Give me a break. And don't get me started about people who try to watch videos on their handhelds. Crazy.
If you are looking for something to help organize your life, the Zire 31 is what you are looking for. Use your laptop for emails and surfing the web on the run. Use your mobile phone to call someone. Use a proper digital camera to take pictures. And get an iPod if you want to listen to music. You won't be carrying all of these devices around all the time, believe me. But you'll have quality devices that do what they should, and not much more. The Zire 31 is part of this strategy. Very good at what it does, and thankfully it doesn't do too much more.
You can't go wrong with this handheld, and don't believe anyone that says it isn't a serious business tool because it lacks wi-fi or the ability to take poor quality pictures or watch dvd's on a 2x2 inch screen.
