2.4GHz Handheld Mini Wireless Keyboard with Air Fly Mouse

2.4GHz Handheld Mini Wireless Keyboard with Air Fly MouseI was close to returning this item because it worked very bad on the beginning. It was registering very few of my keypresses and the air mouse functionality was very choppy. Then, I realized that the computer's wifi is interfering because both wifi and this device use 2.4 GHz radio frequency. Then, I used the USB extension cord for this device's receiver and the device works much better. The air mouse works very smoothly and most of my key presses are registered (I would say 19 out of 20). I tried using the arrow keys in games and the experience wasn't so good with that I would not recommend this device to be used for playing action games where every millisecond counts just because sometimes the keypresses do not register and you lose. So that's all about connectivity issues.

I also find it a bit hard to enable the air mouse. Most of the time it works when I press the middle button 4 times. Sometimes that doesn't work and I have to keep trying or press it 2 more times. So it can take 5-15 seconds just to enable the air mouse and it gets disabled back after a few minutes of not using the device.

So 4 stars out of 5 because the device mainly gets its main job done just that you might need to be a bit patient sometimes.

SanDisk SDDR-97-A15 MS / MS Pro Reader

SanDisk SDDR-97-A15 MS / MS Pro ReaderWhen I got my Sony Cyber-Shot, inside the box was a SONY catalog with a Memory Stick reader for $59, I found these one at amazon for less than $20, and I'm very happy with it because is a real Plug and Play product, doesn't need any driver, works with my USB 2.0 and read MS & MS Pro as many other kinds of memory chips, I't very compact, light and lot better looking that the white Sony reader, so get it arms wide open.

Purchased the Sony Card Reader because it looked more portable. Went home and found out that I had to install drivers just to read my memory stick. I don't want to install anything when I'm using several computers, especially when I'm using the office computers. I had read somewhere that the SanDisk doesn't require installing drivers. Took the Sony back to Circuit City, paid $19.86, and got the SanDisk. The SanDisk was only $13.50 and it works like a charm. The cord is made with sturdier material. It is a bit larger than the Sony but it still fits in my notebook case with ease. I'm loving it!

I was cheated! The item sent was for a sony stick reader, not the reader shown in the photo. The company DID NOT replace the item or even apologize for their error!

Nokia LD-3W Wireless GPS Module

Nokia LD-3W Wireless GPS Module
  • Features Bluetooth
  • Is small and lightweight
  • Uses Nokia battery and chargers
  • LEDs indicate power, Bluetooth wireless connection, and GPS status
  • Compatible with a number of location-based applications and services

Pros: A really outstanding device. Works better, in most cases, than my Garmen Vista C. When paired with Amaze GPS software (this software is free and works with most mobile phones) it works flawlessly. The battery life is superb.

Cons: The software that is/isn't included is a trial download (Wayfinder around $20 for the full version). After spending hours trying to download it, I gave up. Go for the free Amaze software.

Buy Nokia LD-3W Wireless GPS Module Now

I bought a LD-3w to replace my LD-1W for 2 reasons:

The LD-3w is a SIRFIII GPS, and the LD-1W is not. The second reason was the rubber gasket on the bottom of my LD-1W-the one that keeps the GPS from sliding around your dashboard-was coming loose.

I wanted a SIRF III to see if the performance of the GPS would be better. While travelling in Europe this past summer, the LD-1W would take anywhere from 15 minutes to hours to figure out it was not in North America anymore and get an initial signal and location.

To date, I have not yet had a chance to travel outside North America to see if the 3W's performance is any better in that regard. As I travel extensively-and often on short notice-I am very dependant on my LD-3W and use it every week. Since purchasing the LD-3W, I have noticed that there seems to be less occurances of firing up Smart2go on my phone and not being able to get a fix on my location from the GPS.

For what it's worth, the LD-1W has a port to connect an external antenna (though I've never done so) and the 3W does not.

Battery life on the 3W is excellent, and there have been times where I forgot to turn off the GPS, and a week later needed to use it and it still had plenty of juice.

The LD series of GPS's in general are great, very portable and packable, no frills units, and you will need a 3rd party application to use in conjunction with them. They are very portable, and are smaller then a hockey-puck, allowing you to pack this unit with you where ever you go, or simply pocket it. Sturdily built, it will survive life on the road with you.

Finally, the best part of the LD-3W is that it uses the standard smaller sized Nokia phone charger, so you don't have to carry around a seperate charger (as long as you are using a Nokia handset).

I got this for Christmas 2007 from my fiancee and it is just wonderful. It more than doubled the usage I get from my Nokia N800. No, there's no software, but I didn't need it with all of the open source options (gpsdrive, maemo mapper, etc.).

The SiRFstar III chip is a must. It's very fast and it can get a fix from almost anywhere. I usually keep it in my glove box, console, or coat pocket, and it even works when it is inside the house. The battery life is great especially because it sleeps when my N800 moves out of bluetooth range or shuts off. Oh, and pairing is such a breeze -just turn it on and look for it.

8GB Flashblu 2

8GB Flashblu 2The one and only reason I purchased this particular flash drive is that wee little switch on the side; the one that instantly turns this into a read-only device. This memory stick is used on a nearly daily basis for cleaning up infected client machines, and with said little switch in the LOCK position, I don't have to worry about their infection coming home with me. So, provided that switch is in the right place, you'll have the "security" of a CD-ROM, but still have the flash drives ease of access.

According to Check Flash the write speed is around 8.5MB/s and the read speed is around 21.5MB/s.

One thing I would like to see changed is the location of the lock switch. Instead of being down by the USB connector it would be much easier to work with up by the lanyard slot. Other than that, if you need to be able to lock down your flash drive, this is an awesome product!

Do not get me wrong, this drive works well for what it intended, it is fully functioning flash memory, however compared to other 8 gig sticks it is a rather bit more in the price department. I already have memory sticks, and for any general use, would have passed this one by without a second glance, save for one thing. This is the only drive in a very long time that I found which has a built in write-protect switch.

This feature alone provided extremely valuable to me. I am a computer technician for a college, and as such am called upon to repair, scan, and disinfect computers. At one point, I would up infecting the flash drive that I used for virus repair. After that, I knew I needed to change, with Anti-Virus CDs I would up burning a new one every month, and with my old stick, I became a vector of infection. Looking around, I found this drive, and had to admit, the lock feature makes it worth the price.

The switch is easy to access, and easy to toggle, unlike the old 128 Attache's which needed a tool to actual manipulate the switch. Windows and Linux are blocked from writing to the disk when it is locked, and for security's sake I remove it before changing the locked status. (Meaning, I do not know if it can be toggled on the fly, and would rather not risk it.) If you are someone who has to deal with the risk of virus-infected computers, this is a good solution for any technician.

Been looking for years for a write-protect USB drive. Stumbled upon this one this past weekend. Started using it today. Absolutely perfect. I do a lot of virus removal on potentially infected systems. Now I can tackle em head-on without worrying about taking home whatever it is I just got out of someone else's system!

If the prices comes down, I'll be going after the 32 Gig!

I do a lot of repair work of infected computers for my job, and customers get testy if you infect their computers with other peoples' viruses by sharing a USB drive between computers. With that in mind, I've had a steady need for USB drives with write-protect switches to allow me to safely move files onto an infected computer without worrying that the drive can be infected. The older drives I used are no longer available, and the write-protect switch on them was tiny and a bit of a hassle to flip, so I went around looking for a new replacement.

I found these. They're very bare-bones: no bells or whistles or encryption or bootable virtual OSes on them, but I didn't need any of those features and definitely didn't need to pay extra for those features, so that worked out fine for me. The drives are relatively sturdy in metal cases, and the write protect switch is nicely big and easy to flip on the side of the drive. Transfer speeds are okay; it's neither the fastest nor slowest USB drive I've used, fast enough for moving around the relatively small files I deal with when removing viruses. The plastic lanyard loop in the back lights up to show drive activity, and that's pretty much it as far as other features go.

If you're the sort to care, the little plastic cap that fits on the end of the drive is small and easy to lose. I keep the drives in my office and don't particularly care, but people who want to keep the drive in their pocket or in other less-clean environments may be concerned about that detail.

All in all I'm very pleased with this drive, it does exactly what I need without making me pay for things I don't need.

Want 8GB Flashblu 2 Discount?

Me and a team of support technicians have been using these drives for years, upgrading the size every 2 years or so. The physical lock switch is imperative when dealing with infected computers. The case is strong, and I have never heard of someones drive failing. It is almost the perfect flash drive.

Except, I have to give it 4 stars, because it only has a lame plastic cap that is hard to keep track of, and the black plastic at the business end ALWAYS has problems and doesn't stay in place. I can't believe Kanguru has not fixed this in the years that this drive has been available. It doesn't cause the drive to fail, but it is annoying to deal with, and always flipps the write-protection switch when you take the cap off. All it needs is some good glue, come on Kanguru.

HP/Compaq PA840U Stowaway Portable Keyboard for HP/Compaq

HP/Compaq PA840U Stowaway Portable Keyboard for HP/CompaqThe Targus Stowaway Keyboard makes it easy when using some of the best features of the iPAQ, such as MSWord. If you think that the excitement stops there, your wrong. This nifty keyboard fits right in your pocket and is as small, if not smaller than the iPAQ. Its built in application buttons, and programable buttons make it 10 times easier to navigate the iPAQ, but don't worry, if you ever get lost in your own little iPAQ world, just hit the TODAY button on your keyboard and your right back home. Although it is a little hard to connect when the CF slot is attached, it can be done, and in no way affects its performance. I would recommend this product to anyone who owns an iPAQ and for its farely low price of ... it's well worth the value.

Finally, relief of stress off the fingers and eyes. It's hard to imagine how I made so far without this keyboard. Without a doubt, this keyboard makes life much, much easier. I used to try to get by using that Transcriber software that came with my iPAQ. It worked fine, but after a while my hand started to really ache. Not only that, it was kind of difficult to concentrate on the notes you are jotting down while at the same time you have to concentrate on writing perfectly so the transcriber can read your writing. And, of course, like any other owner of this product would say, "it's so convenient because you can fold it up and carry it in your pocket." It's almost like carrying a laptop in your pants' pocket.

The "bad" part may be...Well, product reviews say this keyboard is tough and solid. True...when it's folded up. But once you unfold it, it seems kind of flimsy. But what can you expect? Also (it's been mentioned before), there's no locking mechanism to keep the keyboard flat. When you lift it up, it folds down the middle...so you can't really use it on soft surfaces.

Anyway, those aren't the parts that really bother me. What bothers me, and I'm pretty sure it has crossed the minds of the other owners of this product, is the part where the PocketPC docks on to. It has that snappy, thin plastic, metal wire thing going on and kind of gives a feeling of a toothpick holding up an apple when you dock it. I don't know...maybe I'm just paranoid.

Well, none of the "bad" sides of it messed up on me yet so I am not complaining. All I know is that this thing is a savior to my cramping hand. I can jot things down ten times faster.

I've had my PDA for over a year and recently decided to really get into it. I decided that writing, though a cool function within itself, could be irritating if you had to write alot of notes. I decided to buy the keyboard at a local office supply store. I was very impressed. I wrote Targus because I thought the power supply extension wasn't included (it was "hidden" in the fold of one of the edges-look for it!). They immediatly wrote back and asked me for my shipping information. Let's see if I receive it.

Be careful when opening the area that you dock the PDA into. It can be rather fragile and come off. However, it went back into place and still functioned. One more piece of advice. I got this device for less through Amazon.com. I did notice, however, that they like to move the price up and down alot so you may want to keep your eye on things.

I was tired of writing notes during meetings on legal pads and then loosing them. I started writing notes on Pocket Word with this keyboard and it's great. I must say I get TOO MUCH ATTENTION from meeting attendees when they see my iPAQ and this keyboard, but once the meeting gets rolling, the speaker can tell whether I'm interested or bored by whether I'm taking any notes. I can also type in newly acquired business card info during lulls in the meeting.

One thing I didn't like is that I would have hoped that pressing TAB would move you from field to field on programs like Contacts or Calendar -it doesn't. You have to pick up the stylus and tap to the next field. Still, it's faster that writing all the letters in.

Handwriting recognition or the tiny on-screen keyboard is OK when you don't have the time or space to set up a keyboard, but to really get the full use of the iPAQ where you can get set up, you NEED this keyboard.

Want HP/Compaq PA840U Stowaway Portable Keyboard for HP/Compaq Discount?

This keyboard attaches easily and with the IPAQ provides a very lightweight and small (although somewhat limited) alternative to carrying a notebook computer especially when you have to work on a small airplane tray table or in a meeting. The keyboard plus Word works well for correspondence, small documents, etc. This is a must for Excel if a lot of numeric data needs to be entered as both speed and accuracy are greatly enhanced. As with the parallel Palm V keyboard, this one has an excellent touch, attaches easily (although not as easily as that for the Palm V), and is about the size of the PDA when folded. Well worth the money.

I use mine for a remote for television and gaming and it is great.

My son referred to the keyboard as chicklet style and recently purchased on for himself and another as a gift for mothers day. I always protect my investments and this gives you good value for the money. I said 'good' not 'great'. While the cover does good at protection it I have a hard time using it as a stand due to the weight of the tab, you have to balance it to do this. It does come with a screen protector and what really was a clincher was all the accessories included. They all do work, I read some reviews that said they didn't, and not having to buy everything separately was great not to mention cheaper. It's always good to have another charger around the house not to mention one for the car. Ordering was easy and it arrived when promised.

Acer Predator AG3620-UR308 Gaming Desktop (Black)

Acer Predator AG3620-UR308 Gaming DesktopUPDATE #3: My new job has been going well, so I did some more upgrades to this computer. I will see if I can add a pic after this typing. Anyways, first I squeezed in a 850W XFX Core Edition Full Wired PSU (Single 12v rail with something like 70A). This PSU is something like 1.5-2" longer than the stock unit. I went with 850W instead of 650W when I'm only going to be running a single graphics card because it was on sale for actually cheaper than the lower watt units. Next, I took out the GTX 650 previously installed (going into my HTPC with the old 500W stock PSU from this gaming rig as an upgrade to the integrated graphics on the HTPC unit, no wasted parts, yeah!) and replaced it with a GTX 670 FTW Signature 2 (10" in length for your reference). This card went in easy and it looks like you could probably go with an even longer graphics card as the hard drive bay doesn't look like it hangs low enough to interfere (but do your own measurements). I added a 120MM Antec Fan behind the G grille design to help keep the new graphics card cool enough to keep it from throttling down. This card is a beast, it runs Skyrim on Ultra with the Hi-res texture pack at 60 FPS without even having to go into the overclock. You might ask why I didn't just spend a little more money to begin with instead of upgrading this unit? Well, I needed an affordable gaming rig to hold me over until I got FT work and at the $800 sale price on 12/2012 when I bought it, it was a very good deal for the hardware. I knew my HTPC could use some upgrades for when I want to do some gaming on the projector, so I didn't mind buying two graphics cards and a better PSU for this unit since the old ones were going to be used in another machine. In the end I'm still ahead. I have seen the other comments about problems with this machine, but (knock on wood) it has been a pleasure for me personally to own.

UPDATE #2: I have successfully replaced the GT 630 with a GTX 650 Ti SSC (SuperSuperClocked). I have seen a lot of people on here and the web complain that this computer cannot accept any video cards except the OEM, FALSE! Here's the secret to make it work. BEFORE taking out the GT 630 boot into the BIOS by pushing DEL when the Acer boot screen comes up before Windows 8 launches. You now need to look for something called "Secure Boot" and "Disable" that function. Now look for an option called "CSM" and enable that option and it should say legacy now. Now you can shut down the computer and install the GTX card. The first time you boot up the computer it may restart at the boot screen, but on the second boot it should boot fine. At first your resolution may look incorrect but this should auto-correct in a few seconds if you are using another nVidia 600 series graphics card. If you are using another series or brand, you are probably going to have to update the drivers. Upgrading to this card increased my WEI ratings for video from 6.7 to 7.4 (I might re-run the test now that the computer has been booted a few times). First thing, I tried Saints Row 3 on Ultra settings and 1600x900 resolution (should be adequate for 24" monitor), it looks beautiful and runs smooth! One last consideration when upgrading the video card, MEASURE the space you have to work. Some of the ATI cards give more bang for the buck but they are generally larger. They might still fit, but I decided to play it safe by getting the best of the 650's (Plus I'm NOT rich)... which is still a considerable improvement over the factory card.

UPDATE: I have now also tried Max Payne 3, Batman: Arkham City, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, Microsoft Flight, MX vs. ATV Reflex, Portal 1 & 2, Serious Sam BFE and HD version of 1st & 2nd Encounter, Sleeping Dogs, The Sims 3, TrackMania Nations Forever, The Witcher: Enhanced Edition, Diablo 3, Titan Quest, and a few others I am sure I'm forgetting. All these games have run great with the factory nVidia GT 630. Some games you will have to turn down from 1080p to a lower but still HD resolution to get a decent frame rate, but I have mostly been able to leave texture, shadows, etc. on high or in some cases very high/ultra. If I get a job I am expecting, I will probably upgrade to a GTX card anyways, I'll let everyone know if it makes the noticeable difference I expect...

I see a lot of people nail pretty good computers if they have "gaming" in their product title but don't have a top of the line video card, even when they are priced as low as this one. Especially at the $800 sale price, this is a very good computer and will play most of the titles you also see on PS3 and XBOX 360 on high or above settings and 720p or above resolution. It is irrefutable that this is NOT a high-end graphics card, but it is enough to play most games on higher settings. I have tested Saints Row 2&3, Metro 2033, Red Faction Armageddon, STALKER, Minecraft, Duke Nukem Forever, and will continue to test over 20 games. I'll update if I have problems with any of them... I also wanted to note that on my 24" monitors I couldn't see any noticeable difference going from a 720p resolution to 1080p. Also, while I'm sure diehard gamers that know what they're looking for could tell the difference between high and ultra settings, I didn't really notice anything. So, if you're a casual gamer like me, I would recommend 720p and high settings for games even if they will run higher, this will keep the GPU temperature down and help the card last longer if you're not planning to upgrade it anyways. If you're a knowledgeable gamer and think these pre-built systems are junk, then build your own and quit bashing low-budget pre-built systems because they don't meet the technical standards of a customized high cost gaming system. I almost didn't buy this because of these "gamer" reviews, and I'm glad I blew them off. So far, I'm very happy with how this computer handles my games, especially since it cost $800 not $1,200, $1,600, $2,000 or more that some of the dual video card, water-cooled systems can cost.

my first impression is, i'm not a fan of windows 8

that aside, i've uploaded a stock photo of the computer's inside, as it depicts the exact condition mine came in.

i immediately noticed the chassis is a pretty standard size, i was expecting a huge "gaming computer" and also the exterior isn't obnoxious in any way. another highlight is the 500w power supply is slightly higher than what some competitors are offering. the noticeable downside is it comes with an average graphics card. you'll notice the motherboard offers only 1 pci express slot sized x16 and 3 other pci express slots sized x1. there shouldn't be a problem upgrading to even a bulkier graphics card in the future, simply replace the current one and move the wifi to a slot farther down. also, the 12gb ram uses 3 of 4 memory slots so there is room to expand.

i'll say this system is a pretty good starter for gamers who are maybe considering a few upgrades down the road, the type of consumer who doesn't feel like building an entire system from scratch, but getting reasonable performance for a decent price

Buy Acer Predator AG3620-UR308 Gaming Desktop (Black) Now

Despite having laptops and tablets, I find that I really do use a desktop most of the time. I was trying to decide between this Acer Predator and an HP Phoenix. The biggest difference between the two to me was the power supply. Although the 500 watt power supply for this machine is higher than some other brands, it is below the 600 watt and heat sink that the Phoenix offered.

The deciding factor for me was watching a video showing the interior of the HP Phoenix. The heat sink took up so much room that I knew that trying to replaced anything would be a nightmare for me. Compared to most of the desktops that I have had, the interior of this Acer Predator seems positively roomy. The picture that another reviewer posted shows it very clearly. I find the exterior size to be comparable to most of the desktops that I have had in the past.

What I also liked was the number of USB ports as well as the accessibility. I was adamant about wanting the third generation Intel I-7 processor and 12GB of RAM and thought this Predator offered the best value.

It comes with a cheap wired mouse and lightweight keyboard but I would advise upgrading the mouse to one designed for Windows 8 since using the tiles with a traditional mouse is really a pain.

I was a bit disappointed to see that there is no separate S/PDIF audio outlet but there is a convenient headphones outlet on top as well as the traditional speaker outlet on the back.

This is the first Acer product that I have owned and though I haven't had it very long, I am pleased with my purchase.

I had to ship it back to Acer Repair Center. I was recommended, not to use the box it came in. I had to shell out 60 bucks for packing and shipping, which wont be reimbursed. They'll take their sweet time of 10 working days to send it back. If you think the desktop is cheap for such a decent configuration, yes you are right. It is cheap alright, I just understood why. I am a student and I configured everything I require. I probably have to do that all over again. It could be that I am the unlucky one to get the one faulty system for every million good systems. but nevertheless I just wanted to share my experience.

update: The computer was sent back after two weeks. still was faulty, this time the HDMI out wasn't working, they offered free shipping back to the repair center. But can't do this all over again. I returned it back to amazon. Thanks to amazon for such an excellent return policy.

Five factors sold me on this machine. The price, the Intel Core i7-3770 processor 3.4GHz with Turbo Boost 2.0 Technology up to 3.9GHz (8MB Total Cache), the fact that it has a separate graphics card (upgradable and not integrated on the mother board), the HD size, and the 500 watt power supply. I've been wating a long time for a machine with an Intel Core i7 priced under $1000. True, the GT630 graphics card is somewhat low end, but there's plenty of power to upgrade to a high end card. (In fact, I'm thinking about replacing it with the GTX 650 Ti, which is priced at about $145 at this time). I'm NOT a gamer per se; however I do fly the Microsoft flight simulators FS9 and FSX. Even with the GT650, FS9 runs at 24.8 FPS out of 25 with all the graphics settings maxed out, and FSX works fine with the graphics set at high....19.9 out of 20 FPS. Also there's room to add an additinional hardrive. I've had this computer for a week now and must say, it's quiet, even when running the simulators, I've yet to hear a fan. Yes, there are those complaining about Windows 8, but like any other Microsoft OS, many people don't adapt well to change. There are folks saying that Windows 8 takes up fewer computer resourses than any previous version, so keeping a positive additude about it. So far I'm very satisfied with this computer.

HDE Portable USB Numeric Keypad PC for Laptop Notebook

HDE Portable USB Numeric Keypad PC for Laptop NotebookLayout:

The usb keypad is good for the price. I am used to the desktop numeric keypads, so the key arrangements feels weird. This mainly applies for the addition key. It takes up 2 key spaces on the desktop keyboards, the second key space is now occupied by the backspace button. I like that fact that it has the 000 button. It saves me time when I am typing huge numbers. The backspace key is okay, but I don't like the placement. I guess that it's more of a personal preference, so some people might not have problems with it. It will take a few weeks, but I will get used to the key placement.

Price:

The price of the keypad is really cheap. If you look at the other products on amazon, they cost $8 more than this keypad. This also includes the 000 key, and a backspace button. I paid about $12 for the usb numeric keypad; the shipping was about $3. The usb numeric keypad is really cheap when you compare it to retail stores. Most retail stores sell these for about $30, and these are just the lowest costing keypads. They don't even included the 000 key, or the backspace key.

This product is ok, but definitely not the best. I, too, dislike the layout, as I am also used to the number pad on a regular keyboard. Also, I've found that not all the buttons work. On mine, the backslash key makes an asterisk. That's been pretty frustrating, as the program I use my number pad on requires the use of the backslash key quite often. Other than that, the product seems to work fine.

I've, literally, never written a review before but am deeply disappointed in this product. I realize that I only spent $12 so I wasn't expecting a whole lot out of it. I was, however, hoping that it would continue to work past the one week point. It has now completely ceased working even after repeated attempts to change USB ports, fiddle with the wires, etc. I have now learned my lesson on "you get what you pay for" and am planning on investing in a quality product.

When I first got this 3 of the button's didn't work, I soon realized though that if you take the button's that don't work out and trim the left edge it solves the problem because the edge of the keys overlap with the frame that they are supposed to fit in. A slight manufacturing error I assume, but a quick fix.

If you have very little data entry to do, you may as well do it on the awkward laptop computer. If you have a lot of numbers to enter, this thing is useless. I bought it because it was cheap and I figured, how bad could it be? The keys stick so you have to really bang on them to get numbers entered, and even then they don't always register. I had trouble mostly with the "1" key and the "enter" key, but others were not much better. After a couple of days of misery I went ahead and splurged on this product:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000TW3N8/

(if the link doesn't work, search Amazon for "Adesso 19-Key Mobile USB Numeric Keypad with Retractable Cable ( AKP-150 )") -it worked like a charm, easily 3x as fast as this one and far fewer errors to go back and correct. This is one of those times when buying the cheapest product is just not worth it.

Body Glove Snap-On Case for the HTC Droid Incredible

Body Glove Snap-On Case for the HTC Droid IncredibleI have had my HTC Incredible for almost six weeks and this case has been on it for the entire time. Verizon put it on before I left the store. It is tough, attaches to the phone well, and has a rubberized outer covering that provides good shock protection. The interior of the case is lined with a velvetine covering to prevent scratches when installing or removing a nice touch.

The area around all access points/controls is raised for protection and provides room for bulky headphone plugs as well as letting you put the phone down on it's back without hurting the camera.

The negatives of this design are that it is thick, putting a raised edge right where you have to press p and q and the upper case and delete keys on your virtual keyboard. It also blocks the search button somewhat at the lower right side of the phone. I have fairly large hands so this may be part of the problem, but it definitely slows down my texting, causes errors in typing and reduces the fun of using the phone in general. I have lived with it because the case is pretty heavy duty and I like the protection, but I am seriously considering going to a thinner hard case.

The other thing to remember is that if you use this case with the belt clip, you will have the stud sticking out the back of the phone so it is harder to get it into your pocket or another case if you need to (I keep a nylon case on my camera bag for the phone when I am hiking). The stud is big enough that the phone will sit level on it when putting it down on a table, but just something you ought to know.

The version of this case on Amazon has a different clip than the one sold at Verizon. It looks like it has a little pull out stand so the phone can be set upright on a desk or table. This is a really nice feature as I prop mine on things so that I can see it while working. Overall a well built and designed case. It does work against the thin form factor of the Incredible and the large screen that pushes certain items to the edge of the device however.

Since purchasing my first smartphone in October (an HTC Droid Incredible), I've become somewhat of a product-junkie. I've tried many different cases for this phone; mainly because my old phone was a shell type. I'm not used to having a touch screen with no cover. But, that being said, I'm usually pretty easy on my phones. So, maybe I'm overreacting just a touch about it. I purchased leather cases, some with belt clips; some without. I tried slimline snap-on cases. I even bought an OtterBox case for my husband's Incredible because he's super rough on his phones. The OtterBox is really too much for my needs.

One concern I had with a lot of the cases I tried was the camera lens on the back of the phone. ALL of the slimline cases left the camera lens sticking out enough that it touched any surface I laid the phone on. No good. The Body Glove case has excellent protection of the camera lens. Just enough depth that the lens doesn't touch any surface.

Also, while the Body Glove has nice, thick exterior protection, it also has a soft, cushioned inside for the phone to sit in. And even though there is a thickness to the outer protective layer, it doesn't interfere with the touch screen at all. The leather book-style case I purchased interferes enough to be super annoying. Not so with the Body Glove case. So far, after about 8, maybe 9 other purchases, the Body Glove wins for peace of mind that my new phone is protected whether it's sitting on my desk at work or sitting in my bag while I'm in transit.

Eforcity was excellent to do business with, as well. Can't complain about anything here. I love the case. It was shipped securely and with tracking. A good purchase for the protection of your phone. I highly recommend both the item and the seller.

Buy Body Glove Snap-On Case for the HTC Droid Incredible Now

I dropped my phone several times over the past 7 months and the Body Glove finally gave out. The four tabs that hold the two sides together tend to break relatively easily. Also, I made the mistake of purchasing a couple of cheap replacement batteries and found out that they were slightly thicker than the OEM battery and prevented me from properly closing the body glove. I did purchase the Seidio 1750mAh battery and it fits fine. That being said, I still ordered a replacement Body Glove because, in spite of the drawbacks mentioned above, it offers terrific protection, feels great to the touch, doesn't slide on any surface and has that cool kickstand on the clip. For the $16-17 price, I think it's worth it.

UPDATE 8/31/2011: My second Body Glove also broke after just two drops. Again it was the internal tabs that snapped apart. Decided to go with the Seidio ACTIVE Case for HTC Droid Incredible. I've had it for a week and, although more slippery than the body Glove, it is a good product. Dropped the phone once already and the ACTIVE Case didn't even smudge. So, if you never drop your phone, go with the Body Glove. Otherwise, try something like the Seidio.

The case is tough and sturdy. It has saved my Incredible from a potentially damaging fall or two. The one gripe I have is the the sides are such that it makes it a chore at times to press the q, p, backspace and return keys. Maybe my fingers are too big, but I'll be picking a different case.

Works as advertised. A good case, but of course I haven't dropped the phone now that I got the case. It makes some of the letters on the side of the keyboard a little harder to hit, but I found this wasn't a big deal. You just have to pay a little more attention when hitting the "p". Why pay more than twice as much at the Verizon store?

Sony VGN-UX280P VAIO UX Series Micro PC Handheld Notebook

Sony VGN-UX280P VAIO UX Series Micro PC Handheld NotebookRecently, while scoping around the internet one night, I heard a guy talking about the UNPC's and woundered what that was. So when typing in the youtube UMPC I came around the Sony Vaio UX280P and was impressed. It ran computer programs at full speed, had 1.30 GHz(mine is a UX280P, but the seller upgraded parts on my machine) Processor, and 1 Gig of Ram/Memory (Impressive for something this small, but it orginally cost 2500$, but I did not pay that much), and had a slide-able keyboard as well as a touchscreen, and 40 Gib Memory. I decided that I would get one of these and I got one today. I had trouble with the sound and other functions on here and had to install them myself (which it wasn't the seller's fault he thought he installed Win XP SP3) that was a quite a hassle to do. After I configured it and such and to the main functions. This UMPC is a absoulte marvel, it's not as heavy as a laptop but doesn't loose any of it's functionality. It had more ram than any of the new Iphones/Ipads (which they have only a whimmpy 512 Ram). It goes on the internet rather well (plays online flash/ videos fast!). Also to those that are wondering about it's ablity to play pc games, it plays them great (emulators such as the NullDC play great, also note: PC games from 2007-down play great but don't plan on playing MW3 on this). Also that should be noted that the battery life was (for me) about 3.5 hrs fully charged, so not a great battery life but theres others that have worse. Overall it a great multitasking UMPC and beats any PDA any day, so if you were thinking of getting a PDA, I would get something like this because it holds more data and can be plugged into a monitor for powerpoints displays and the like. So pick this machine up while you can still get a deal on it, because it seems on getting harder and harder to find one of these today (picked mine up for 271.25 and it included the docking station,Carring case, fully working battery _WHICH IS RARE TO FIND_ and upgraded the system)... SO GET ONE TODAY (if you can find one)!!!

I normally don't take time to review products but this deserved it. I just bought one of these from amazon and i have to say this is better than my ipad and any other computer I have tried this size. The one thing i would recommend is putting windows 7 and adding an extra capacity battery to it. I believe one of the sellers in there has that option in there. It arrived fast and the overall computing experience is stellar. I highly recommend. The price cannot be beaten either.

Mini Flexible Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard for Apple iPad 2, HP Touchpad, Motorola Xoom, Acer Iconia Tab, Asus EEE Pad, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and More Bluetooth Enabled TabletsWorks great with Acer Iconix A501. Super easy setup with bluetooth. Flexible rubber keyboard that you can stick in your pocket (big pocket, but still)! After more time using it, I may take it to five stars.

I bought this keyboard with a little uncertainty, but I am so glad I did buy it! First of all, I received it a week before the actually date of estimated arrival. Then, I immediately hooked it up to my Acer Iconia Tab a200. It did take a little bit to get used to, but I love the size! Thus far, I have had no problems with it. I love how I can use the home button or even use the arrows on any app! It is the perfect size for those using tablets and my fingers are easily adjusting to the size. So, for anyone who has any doubts about this little keyboard, I definitely recommend it!

I like using the mini flex wireless keyboard with my Nexus 7 tablet but it being mini makes it rather hard to type on. It's nice and small to be portable but if you have bigger fingers and/or don't like to peck at the keys you're better off getting a full size keyboard.

Product works well, and is great for travel, but it a little to small for me. I need a little bigger keyboard, but that shouldnt be a knock on the product. Money well spent if u ask me.

M-Edge Supershell Cover for iPad 2 and the New iPad (Blue)

M-Edge Supershell Cover for iPad 2 and the New iPadI absolutely love ths case. I have four children 9 and under, and this case is perfect for protecting the iPad from damage. It is bigger than other cases, so someone without children may not prefer it, but even when I am using the iPad I love the way the case makes it easy to hold and you can prop it up any where and it won't slide down because of the shell's material. The is a great advantage when watching videos or when I need to prop it in the kitchen to read a recipe.

Another praise for the M-Edge: I have a special needs daughter and this case has protected the iPad from many a drop!

Offers the best protection on all sides for little ones If you are going to use your IPAD primarily for your little kids, i recommend this.

We have 3 iPads for the kids and had multiple cases. The Supershell is by far the best we have had. The iPads have survived drops, tosses and even having a couple things dropped on them. The only downside is that it doesn't cover the screen and it can be a little tough to get on.

Thought Out PED3-U iPhone, Android, Samsung Galaxy, Steel Stand

Thought Out PED3-U iPhone, Android, Samsung Galaxy, Steel StandThis stand is amazing. It fits my iPhone 4 fantastically, even thought I have my phone encased in an Otterbox.

I watch a lot of TV via the slingbox and the stand holds the phone at a fantastic viewing angle.

Totally worth getting and I'm seriously considering getting another one.

You will *NOT* be disappointed!

If you're looking for an elegant way to keep your smartphone-ish device out of your pocket, go ahead and add this to your cart. The cutout on the back of the stand allows you to easily thread a power cable to your device and the flat surface that serves as the base of stand allows you to reclaim that space. I wish the base of the stand were a bit heavier when I try to use my phone while on the stand it tends to rock backward. This should not dissuade you from purchasing this product an external hard drive, wallet or something of that weight placed on the base of the stand will easily make this one of your most cherished, and simple, tech accessories. Tested with a Nexus One, Treo 700 and an iPod Touch all fit very well.

I think this is an excellent stand. So much so, that I've bought two, one for home and one for the office. Vertically or horizontally, the iPhone rests in it wonderfully. What's also great is that it is "universal," as promised. I've used it for Blackberries, and other handhelds as well.

This piece of sleek and functional tech furniture does what it's designed to do and looks great doing it. The unibody construction and tilt of the angle are perfect and when paired with my iphone, it reminds me of an eager robot awaiting my command.

Want Thought Out PED3-U iPhone, Android, Samsung Galaxy, Steel Stand Discount?

I purchased this stand so that my girlfriend and I could plug our iPhones into the speakers we have in the bathroom without leaving the phone sitting on the sink or a shelf. I didn't need all the extra junk that most stands here provide, and this is the perfect solution.

It's a solid stand, nice and heavy with rubber sleeves on the nubs where your phone rests. It's quick and easy to place your phone in the stand, and the viewing angle is great for watching movies, facetime, etc. Not only did this turn out to be exactly what I needed for the bathroom, but I'm probably going to order one or two more for other locations in the house.

I'm very pleased with this product.
