I spent a few hours looking at cases for my XOOM and was getting overwhelmed. There were so many choices but everyone seemed to have a minor issue with almost every case unless you moved into the the premium/super-premium 50$ + category and even there, there were often issues. In one review a person mentioned they tried one popular model but returned it and bought the IGadgitz case and they were very happy. I then looked in that direction and saw their high quality leather case and wasn't sure I wanted to spend the $, but the reviews were excellent.In continuing to fiddle around in my search, I discovered the IGadgitz PU leather model that was a replica of the high quality leather model. I did some research on PU leather with mixed reviews but for under 20$ I decided to take the risk. Well, was I pleasantly surprise. I have bought cases for e-readers in the past, but this case has the best fit I had encountered. Also it was very easy to carry around. Also the PU leather IGadgitz case was of higher quality of the leather I had found on a couple E-Reader cases, and seemed to be a great value. I highly recommend this for anyone who is looking around for a case for their XOOM.
Note: I have been using this case for month and it seems very sturdy with no signs of wear, while providing excellent protection and an excellent reading/web experience for my XOOM, which itself seems like a very high quality, professional class, tablet, which cost me half the amount of a similarly configured IPad, concerning which I felt the IPad didn't seem as sturdy or professional as the XOOM, although there a lot more apps available for the IPad of course.

This is a great map of Israel. It works very well for both driving and walking. It provides excellent turn-by-turn directions. It is far superior to maps from other companies and Israeli GPS vendors that I have used in the past.There are three things that any buyer should know.
First, in order to accommodate Hebrew and Arabic translations, many city or street names may be spelled in an unusual or inconsistent manner. For example, when looking something a up a name consider "K", "KH" "H" or "C" for the "CH" sound, or "J" or "Y" for an "I" sound. Also consider that apostrophes are often used when spelling single or compound words.
Second, the map has a political bent and may act unusually in areas that are outside the "Green Line". To get to many of these cities you may have to restart the system or specifically ask it to provide directions in "Area C". After that, it will work great. In our recent travels at no time did the GPS recommend any unsafe routes, but a little knowledge of history and geopolitics is helpful for best usage.
Third, oral pronunciations into English may not sound exactly like you would expect. However, this can be more entertaining than annoying and is not really a problem.
Overall, I strongly recommend this product for safe and hassle free travel in Israel.

The Israel version of Garmin City Navigator is okay. We used it for both local and distance driving during a three week stay in Israel. Sometimes the directions are spot on, as when we visited a home in Ma'ale Adumim east of Jerusalem. Other times they are maddeningly incomplete, as when it told us to "stay left" on the road, only to find that the next turn was from the far right lane--we therefore missed the turn and had to double back. Other times, road or Exit names were incorrect, though the actual turn was correct. Also, the audio often fails to alert you to upcoming turns, so you need to watch teh map frequently and be vigilant.Overall it's far better to have this than not. But if you use it, when there's a conflict between the name and the image on the map, go with the map--we found that the image was always right.

Since Hertz would not guarantee a GPS with the car I will be renting in Israel, Plan B was to buy Garmin's Israel Maps SD card and use it with my 1490. The installation is a nonevent and the maps seem to be quite complete. Plus the SD card is usable in many Garmin units, so I others can borrow it when they go to visit. A win-win.

There are two issues I have with this case. The first is that it required a lot of effort to press the buttons, especially the power button. The second issue is that the cutouts for the micro USB and headphone are on the small side, which causes problems with them popping out because they have the case between them and the phone.I've had OtterBox. I've had ZAGG. Now I spend ONE CENT, and find the perfect case. Easy on, easy off. Lightweight, thin, attractive. The best case I've had so far.

Sharing the sentiments of a previous poster, I too was duped into purchasing one of these devices. I like the device itself and find it to be a nice system. It's very quick, and the user interface is crisp. However, I travel internationally all the time. I bought this unit to replace my dual-band Treo 270. It's not that the Treo was not cutting it; it's that I wanted a tri-band PDA. Imagine my surprise when I called in to get the unlock code and they told me, nope, you can't have it. I quickly asked for my RMA number.
Too bad. If Palm would recognize that the market for cell phones is a commodity-based one, with people using SIMs so that they _can_ switch phones easily (thus the idea of a SIM card in the first place), they'd get a lot more sales. I hope AT&T paid them a good bit of money for the exclusivity. If not, ...they are losing sales. Like mine :-(
Unfortunately, the device has been a disappointment. The ergonomics are dreadful in comparison with the Blackberry, or a Nokia phone. The lack of notification when a text message (other than SMS) is a deficiency. The phone is unsafe to use in a motor vehicle, so I've had to activate a second, in-car phone & number. The original, largely Grafitti-based input functions common to previous Palms are much easier to use than the Tungsten's choice of the tiny mechanical keyboard or the tap-to-select on-screen version.
The device is very choosy about where it charges. I have three cradles, plus the travelling adapter with 110V and 12V (cigarette lighter) connections. One of the three cradles won't charge it, and it refuses to accept juice from an auto cigarette lighter, either. I have not found the battery life to be a problem, as described in one of the other reviews, though.
Web surfing is OK, some sites won't allow it access, but for what I use it for, it's acceptable. Being GSM, though, there are parts of the country where there is no coverage I know this from my prior phone.
Finally, after five weeks' ownership, the annoying wired earpiece necessary to use the phone feature hooked on an obstruction once too often, and evidently damaged the jack. Now, the whole shooting match has to go back to Palm for repair.
All in all, I'm afraid I've pushed the technolgical envelope too far this time.

I bought it yesterday and have returned it today!All features other than the integrated gsm phone/ wireless service are same as the earlier model Tungsten "T". So presumably one would pay the extra buck for the advantage of having a phone/pda combo. Right? Unfortunately the ONLY service provider with which it can work with is AT&T. As per the words of a Palm tech rep., "This is a SIM lock device"! Meaning that the only SIM card that would work is the one that is provided in the box by AT&T. It is not like a normal tri band GSM phone in which you can put in a SIM card from any wireless service provider and you can use it in the coverage areas of your service provider. So only two group of people can use this deivce. Fristly, those who do not want to use it as a phone and only want to use it as a PDA. To them I would say why dont you get a nicer PDA like something from Sony, or HP, or the Palm Tungsten T. And secondly those people who are willing to subscribe to the AT&T serivce plan. I dont live in US and have never been a coustomer with AT&T, however I know firstly that limiting a deivce to only one service provider is purely logic deprived, in general for all users and particularly for users who travel abroad and want to use SIM cards from local serivce providers. And the other fact is that the reviews on AT&T wireless service are far from satisfactory. So in short this Tungsten model has no advantage over the Tungsten T. As a PDA it may be good. But then why pay the extra $$$$ for having a phone/pda combination.

I bought one of these things 4 months ago. It broke. Palm won't fix it. Palm want's 100 bucks to replace it. Palm wants me to use a on line form to pay up front and start a repair order. Palms on line repair order cgi script doesn't work (makes you wonder who does the programing on the palms. Palm says write back to us and we will start a SRO (service repair order). Did that about 4 weeks ago, haven't heard a word.In short
