As entry level PDA's go, you will be hard pressed to find a unit better then this one. Compared to the m105 and visor deluxe, all those units pale in comparison. For its price there is no pda that can buy what this clie gives you. Its the only entry level PALM unit that gives you expandability through the memory stick but it is also battery rechargeable. Although the screen is still monochrome and not hi-res like higher end siblings, its screen is still one of the brightest and clearest around. Using SONY's "STAMINA" lithium batteries, this unit just goes on and on.

Product quality is excellent, fits ASUS TF300 perfectly. The fold-over stand mode is great for using tablet on table or lying in bed. Only improvement would come from ASUS to put the charge port on the side so the case can be in stand mode and charging the tablet....current location of charge port forbids this or the cable gets bent/will break. My 8 year old daughter enjoys the stylus for art apps. Great price.
I have had two Iomega (my two oldest, still working very well) and two Seagate (one malfunctioned about one year after purchase and had to be discarded, the other still works well, being newer with a lager capacity, but slower, that the Iomega) USB 2.0 portable drives. This is my first USB 3.0 portable drive, and so far it is excellent. It is faster that the others, not only when connected to a USB 3.0 port (as expected), but even connected to a USB 2.0 port.
I purchased this case for my wife's Dell Venue Pro and the case fits extremely well and looks awesome. It's a very premium fit and finish. Unfortunately, after I gave the phone and case to my wife she started complaining about how difficult to use the phone was with the case on it. The flap gets in the way all the time and dangles and annoys her which in turn meant that she annoyed me! I *really* wanted to like everything about this case but I have to say that overall it fails because it is troublesome to use and doesn't fully protect the phone like I would expect. In addition, because of the thickness of the case and how close it is to the micro usb port, the charger rarely stayed in properly.
Over the past two years, I've used iPAQs, Jornadas, and most recently the Audiovox Maestro Pocket PC. The Toshiba e330 outperforms them all as far as I'm concerned.

I bought this unit about 2 years ago and love the features it has. Unfortunately some days the battery and the unit works fine, the next day it loses the entire battery and the unit is completely dead with no data left. I bought the e330 and about 25 days later, the unit refused to turn on. The battery had been FULLY charged. I had noticed the unit started to shutdown by itself a few days prior. It isn't the latest and greatest, but you get good value for your money. If you can live without WiFi and Bluetooth this is the way to go. The battery life is enough for about six hours of hard use. There are a few recommendations that I have, upgrade to ActiveSync 3.7 and do a soft reset before syncing. Also, get a 256M SD card for backups and possibly music. If you're into music headphones are a must and download a copy WinamPAQ, which is a freeware WinAmp for pocket PC. For software development either get Visual Studio .Net ($), eMbedded Visual Basic (free) or eMbedded Visual C++ (free). SQL Server CE is also available for free.
This product isnt useful. The picture is very faint and blurred unless the projector is placed right next to the wall (and then the picture size is no bigger than my 15" laptop screen), so whats the point? I unfortunately didnt need to use it immediately and when I finally tried it and discovered just how bad it was, the return window had expired.

the pico throws up a respectably good picture with pretty good clarity it's the kind of image/experience I'd hoped to have for travel use.

I had to replace a Treo accidentally damaged. I found after trying it that having both phone and PDA in one unit was unsatisfactory for me, largely because the unit was too bulky to wear comfortably on my belt. Going back to a tiny phone (Razr) and separate PDA has been a relief. And what a PDA. This unit comes without a keyboard, but the virtual keyboard is so easy to access and the graffiti writing recognition system has been so improved, that I don't notice the absence of the keyboard most of the time. Adequate memory, expansion card slot, and excellent resolution of the LCD screen are all bonuses. And the hard case even has two slots for keeping extra memory cards handy. When I left it in the car and then came home it wouldn't turn on. I noticed it was very warm but as soon as I did a soft reset the device turned on. I enjoy my new iPAQ very much. I have been a Palm user since PDA's first hit the market but wanted to try something new, using the Windows CE format. Being that the iPAQ usses the Windows format similar to my laptop and desktop computers, it was very easy to use from the get go. It is much easier to access your POP e-mail account and very easy to set-up. I had numerous problems attempting to do this with my Palm and still am unable to access my e-mail account. The icons are very similar to Windows and allow for easy accessing to programs. Was having a lot of hangs and soft resets and using the IPAQ was becomming very frustrating. I updated the ROM, as suggested by HP Tech. Support and now it is working fine.
I was a little leery of this because of the price tag, and the look and feel of the product continued my fears, but having used it for about a month, I can say that this is a good buy. the simplistic hinge hasn't failed as I feared, and in fact works quite well. the 'carbon fiber' styling has a little give and actually feels good in the hand, better than the Kindle Fire by itself. The stand grooves are okay, not really angled for how I usually like to leave it for reading, but the inner lining has enough grab to keep it where you put it, so it works for me. last but not least, the hard backing in the case has protected my kindle through a few falls already (I am a little hard on my toys, mostly due to liking to read in bed). All in all, this does a good job, an the price beats the pants off of most of the other ones out there from other companies. Good Job!
I enjoy the metallic red color, but wish this item were a bit smaller and thinner. It also seems too wide at the contact point at the end. The whole reason for using it is to be far more precise than your finger tips. Even though it certainly is thinner, it still feels too large and clumsy with my Nook ebook. Also the rubber end feels mushy and imprecise when I use it. Perhaps that is the way they need to be to work. I don't know if there are some electronics inside which will only function with that sort of design. But I found that aspect irritating, and am sending it back.

The HP210 / 211 / 212 / 214 could have been a truly great product. (They're all the same product: the different numbers indicate the channel and country; i.e., 210 US Consumer, 214 Asia, etc.) But it has a few shortcomings that, in my opinion, reduce it to an average product that should be considered carefully.

I have been using the iPaq 211 now for a couple of weeks after upgrading from the iPaq 2755 that I purchased when it first hit the American market 3+ years ago. My Dell Axim X50v died unexpectedly and I had to get another PDA. After using a VGA screen I could not go back to QVGA. Since there aren't too many units to select from I decided on the IPAQ 211.
We use this scanner to digitally file our statements and bills. It scans quickly and quietly, without the need for an adapter and without taking much space on one's desk. It partners well with Adobe Acrobat -we have Acrobat Professional which allows us to crop document edges if the original is less than 8.5 x 11 -and I've seen no software compatability issues with Windows XP Home or XP Professional. It also allows you to continuously scan multiple page documents (as opposed to scanning each page as its own PDF file).

OK, I like this product, I really do. The quality is pretty decent, it's not too slow, it's pretty easy to use. All good things. My quibbles are with the software for Mac users, or I should say, the lack thereof. All of the software that is advertised for this product is for Windows ONLY. I use it with my laptop to scan mainly letter sized documents, to include old mimeograph and spirit duplicator (remember the purple print?)pages and it works just as well as my flatbed scanner. I use the B&W setting for mimeo and have to switch to color for the purple print. Super convenient and easy to use if you read and follow the instructions.
